Surprisingly fun! I had some issues but I enjoyed the pace and characterization, and think it's a great idea to serialise it. I'm a fan of speculative evolution and I'm excited to read the next part.

A earth colony planet is on the verge of failure, when a starship rediscovers them. It's an interesting view of will happen when we explore the stars. I enjoyed the book and look forward to Wolfes sequel.
