This is a cute, sweet romance that had my heart instantly. The characters are so genuine and sweet, i was really hoping they would see the chemistry they had and was so sad when it ended and I am desperate for a sequel.

This was a cute book with a good vibe. I think that it was something that I would have purchased if I had just seen the book cover in my local book store because it looks so cute! Love the happily ever after.

The Right Wrong Match is a cute, clean rom-com. I loved the idea that Daisy wanted to experience all the different love tropes, but it didn't seem to last long. I also loved that we see little glimpses of Ivy and James from the first book. The dating app was an interesting story line, but I found the overall story just a bit underwhelming.
The narrators did an excellent job!
3.5 stars, rounded up.
Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for this ALC!

I loved the idea that Daisy wanted to experience all the romance tropes. As a romance reader, that concept was super interesting to me. Daisy gave up on that quickly, so there wasn't much around that storyline. This was a really lighthearted and romantic story. It was very PG so I was not as entranced as I would be if the two characters had a little more chemistry. I liked Luke a lot. His story was very bizarre and we didn't get much on why the things that happened to him happened to him. It was a good story but not exactly to my taste. I would still recommend reading it, especially for a little younger audience.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me a copy of this book for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley for the copy of this audiobook! Although I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for my review, all opinions remain my own.

What is your favorite romance trope? This book has a list involved where the main character is trying to put herself into each of them (ie friends to enemies, blind dates, ect). In fact, the beginning of the book starts in her in a blind date, to her best friends wedding. But that's okay, because her best friend was the one doing the setting up. There were times I laughed out loud at these characters. People in this small town are people we all know (the gym rat too busy taking selfies and posting on his insta to realize he's forming a line for his equipment, the self involved "social media influencer" who just wants something bigger, the town gossips who make sure everyone knows what is going on all over town. I just loved the small town feel in this book. Hopefully there are more by this author because it was just a fun book to listen to.

I enjoyed getting to know Daisy and Luke. I found the dating app angle fun and I loved the mix up with the multiple date invitations and how that worked out for them. The writing was easy to follow and flowed smoothly, making the romance leap off the page for me. There were a lot of different tropes thrown in but I thought they were worked in well in the overall story. Highly recommended for a feel good vacation read.

Daisy lives in Mirro Valley. She is committed to her city and its community. When her parents let her, she found support amoung the citizens. But Daisy is a first date girl. That means she never gives a second chance to her potential lovers.
With Luke, it's different. He's not a lover, he's not interested in her. She had a crush for him when she was a teenager, but he's her bestfriend's brother, so she never tempted of said anything. And since he has been left on the altar on his wedding day by his former fiancée, she can't talk about romance with him. But they talk about anything else... Until each one of them meet someone that sparks their interest on a new dating app...
That story was a cute one, that explore also what could be the happily ever after. The male character is supportive, rough and kind, while the female is a caring and strong minded person. They complete each other, in a sweet way, that gave me lots of feelings. I really enjoyed this reading, thank you NetGalley !

I love a good audiobook and this one did not disappoint. It was light, fun and I finished it quickly. The narrators did an excellent job telling the story in an engaging way with emotion.

Thank you to Netgalley for a copy of this book. The feedback I am providing is honest.

This book was a bit overly predictable, but all in all, a cute, sweet little romance. I didn't feel that there was enough of a conflict. This one just wasn't for me.

The audiobook was well done and perfectly pleasant to listen to. Unfortunately, I found the story itself somewhat underwhelming. The plot played into a lot of tropes and struggled to define itself in any meaningfully unique way. Similarly the main characters didn’t really stand out or make themselves memorable.

While I didn’t necessarily dislike this book, I found it hard to really get into as I had the vague sense of having heard the story before.

This was a fun and engaging story that makes use of lots of romance book tropes, even to the extent that the main character, Daisy, is exploring her favorite tropes to see if that will help her find someone. After all, there's no way she can give in to the crush she's had for years on her best friend's brother... Or can she?

When Luke finally notices her, it's like a dream come true. But it's hard not to think the other shoe is going to drop. And she knows she can't bear being rejected by him; so maybe it's better not to try at all?

There's a lot of "will she, won't she" in this story, but it's a fun rollercoaster ride to go on.

I had no idea that this was the second book in a series, but it worked perfectly fine on its own.

Thank you to Sara Jane Woodley, Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for an advance review copy.

I enjoyed the voice actors for this story and thought it was perfectly sweet, but it felt very ‘tropey’ and lost steam for me at around 66%. I felt like I could guess everything that would happen next which isn’t always a bad thing, but with this book I didn’t connect with either main character enough to be fine with the plot being rather predictable. A quick read with a classic happy-ending, it was good, but with nothing to separate itself from the thousands of other romance novels with the same base plot.

I got a copy of this audiobook to review and I am glad I did because I probably would not have picked it up on my own. The Right Wrong Match is so well done. I love the setting of this book. Daisy is the bridesmaid and is set up on a date with someone for her friend's wedding. She ends up regretting that decision but her friend's grumpy brother Luke steps in to help when her date goes off the rails.

Daisy ends up on a dating app after the wedding and has been chatting with a guy. When she sends him a message to meet up due to problems with the app it invites everyone she connected with a date request! Daisy ends up going through the dates even inviting some of her girlfriends to scope out the other guys until she can find the one she really wanted to get to know better. Luke ends up showing up at the same bar for a date who he thinks stood him up and Daisy and Luke talk while waiting.

if you are looking for a best friend's brother romance with laugh-out-loud scenes. Check out this book. You don't want to miss it like I almost did.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review- thanks NetGalley and Dreamscape Media!

Our FMC Daisy has been unlucky in love, and she's realizing it may have something to do with her habit of taking care of everyone's happiness except her own. She's decided to give online dating a try (using a fake name, of course), and has matched with Aaron, who she thinks she may actually like. Set in small-town Colorado, Daisy finds herself taking any and every job available to try and help keep the businesses afloat. This is how she finds herself teamed up with accountant Luke to try and raise money to save the community center. Luke is her best friend's brother, who she's had a crush on for forever, and never said anything about it because he was in a committed relationship. Unbeknownst to Daisy, Luke is Aaron, and he doesn't know what to do about it. A sweet, fun, HEA unfolds that's sure to make anyone smile.

To begin with the things I liked about this book:
-The miscommunication trope was nowhere to be found! These characters are SO good at having the important conversations (especially in the latter half of the book) and it was so refreshing.
-It was lighthearted and fun- felt very low-stakes
-The tension between Daisy and Luke!!!! The slow burn was done so well, I found myself wanting to shout "JUST KISS ALREADY" several times.
-The best friend relationship between Daisy and Ivy was very sweet.

Things I was not so crazy about:
-Daisy felt one-dimensional. The whole "sweet girl who will take care of everyone except herself and never wants to accept help" character is a little overdone. The way that allowing someone to cook dinner for her felt like a huge breakthrough was.... Frustrating. It was like she didn't have any other personality except being sweet and helpful and optimistic. Even when she was dealing with darker emotions, they were resolved so quickly I felt like I had whiplash. It would have been nice to see her explore WHY she has such a hard time being taken care of. Her sister started that conversation and it didn't ever feel finished.
-Daisy being worried about upsetting Ivy that her and Luke were together seemed extra silly, given that Ivy is quite literally married to her brother's best friend. That just seemed like a conflict thrown in for no reason.
-More of a personal preference than a criticism, but I really don't like when there are pop culture references in books. It wasn't egregious, but was definitely present.
-This book is YA- I understand that. However, these characters are almost in their 30s. To have them acting like teenagers sometimes was off-putting. I honestly didn't realize this was YA, and had to look it up after the lack of spice made me suspicious. I just assumed it was adult given the age of the characters. I don't really see how any young adult could have related to this book.

Overall, I think any rom com lover looking for a low-stakes good time will enjoy this. It wasn't ground breaking by any means, but it was definitely entertaining!

This book was swoon worthily cute. I could not stop listening to it. I usually only listen to audiobooks while I drive, but I kept turning this book on any chance I got. I even listened to it while working out, and it totally made it a thousand times better.

The romance in The Right Wrong Match was perfect. I mean, best friend's older brother, mistaken identity, friends to lovers, dating apps, and an ex-fiancé in the way. It gave in every area it needed to. Especially in the characters themselves, The book follows the point of view of Daisy and Luke. Dual POV for the win. Daisy is a loveable main character. She is an optimist, who works like ten jobs because she wants to. She really embodies her name. Luke, Daisy's best friend's older brother, is more reserved. I mean his fiancé had just left him at the alter the year before. Over the course of the book they work together to save their small town's community center. Forcing them to spend time together. As time goes on their friendship progresses, and starts to lean towards something more. Everything just flows so well!

The audiobook side of things was great! Because the book follows both Daisy and Luke's point of view, two people narrate the book. It is so easy to track who's point of view you're currently listening to. And the best part is that the narrators sound so good. They spoke clearly and didn't get on my nerves at all. I really loved being able to listen to the book!

I just binged the three books (currently out) in this series from Sara Jane Woodley, and I really enjoyed them! All are super cute and sweet, and I’m glad I read them together, because of the characters overlapping - especially books 1 and this (the novella only a bit, Last Chance Road Trip).

I’m still debating whether I liked Ivy or Daisy’s story better but both were so great, being sibling’s best friend romances. Both are sweet and swoony (aka clean, only kissing). I’m torn, but I might like this one better, only because I had the audio? The other I read from KU… Ivy and James, Luke’s best friend, went from enemies to lovers, but Daisy and Luke went from long-time friendly to more - Luke had been off-limits after a 12-year relationship fizzled at the altar, but 18 months later, he’s discovering he likes chatting with a stranger on a dating app, until he discovers, at a meet-up gone wrong, that it’s her - and sees her in a whole new light… maybe this one is actually my fave!

Sara Jane Woodley is a great storyteller - if you haven’t grabbed this series yet, you really need to! It’s so brilliant that you won’t even notice the lack of steamy scenes. The audio version is the way to go - narrated by Justice Bolding and David Bendena, two brand new voices to me (I’m always surprised with 15 years of being a dedicated audiobook listener to come across narrators I don’t know), but I loved and can’t wait to hear again!

I completely recommend this book and series to every romance reader - especially the audiobooks! I cannot wait for The Real Fake Fiancé (Dee and Noah’s story) in May … too long to wait!!

I received an advance copy from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media, and this is my honest feedback.

Sweet, funny and loving story. A long ago crush, best friend big brother, the perfect match in a dating app, town full of gossipy people. The perfect recipe for Luke and Daisy’s love story and HEA, only if they had faith enough in their feelings. Great audiobook, Justin Bolding and David Bendena are great narrators for a wonderful story

The Right Wrong Match is the second romance in the Love in Mirror Valley series. Daisy has had a crush on her best friends older brother, Luke, for years. When life throws the two of them together and they end up working together to try to help the town, Daisy’s feelings prove too much to get over.

This book is my perfect coupling, I love the best friends brother trope and this book didn’t disappoint. I loved the characters of Daisy and Luke and I loved them together even more. When I started reading this book I didn’t know it was part of a series, but it can definitely be read alone. Now I’m looking forward to going back and reading the first book! I found this to be a good romance that was quick to read and fun. I would recommend this if you are looking for a fun, light read.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC audiobook!
