A Curse of Ash and Iron by Christine Norris started as a bumpy ride, for me, because it was really difficult to get into the story. Once the story gets in track, it was entertaining to read. I really wanted to find out about Ellie’s curse and Rebecca, Ben and Hamilton.

Me costó hallarle el gusto a A Curse of Ash and Iron por la autora Christine Norris. Ya que llegué al meollo de la historia, fue fácil y entretenido leerla. Buen final para Ellie, Rebecca, Hamilton y Ben.

Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced reading copy of a curse of ash and iron. I really couldn’t get behind this one after seeing the good reviews. I didn’t feel the story gripped me. Maybe I am a hard self but it all felt forced and I had to slog through it.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this book. It was a perfect blend of Cinderella like Fairy tales, and magic. From the start, the characters held my interest and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next

Christine Norris always has a great concept for a novel, it had a great plot going through it. It does everything that I was hoping for in the description. The characters were interesting and I enjoyed the way they were written. It left me excited to read more from the author.

"“Ben?” Ellie sat in the most comfortable chair in the back room of the shop. Her hands cradled an old chipped cup filled with hot tea brought to her by a thoughtful-yet-bewildered Harry. “Ben, what are you thinking?” Ben lifted Ephraim Banneker’s will and turned to the second page. He opened his mouth, then closed it, thought for a second, and tried again. “What does this have to do with your… problem?”

The storyline was very well written and very intriguing! It kept my interest from being to end. I loved the characters! I loved how you could relate to the characters and the situations the faced, I loved the suspense and drama in the story.
