Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
This book sucked me in right away because of the way the book was framed up. I loved how it started with Cass speaking to the police and complaining about her being wronged while her husband’s mistress is dead and then goes back through the events that lead to that. This book gripped me and did not let go. Alice was such a creepy stalker and made this story interesting.

This is an interesting thriller. I found the story line interesting. I feel like the audiobook is a better option for this story because it added to the suspense. There was also multiple voices used which helped me to understand the story better. This story has some sensitive topics however it is done in a sensitive way. I thought it was a pretty good story.
Content: Cheating, lying, major swearing (f words included), addiction

Thank you Rising Action Publishing Co. and NetGalley for the ARC copy. All thoughts are my own!

I hate rating books so low, but I am so disappointed in this book. It wasn't Still's writing. that I liked, but it was the story itself. Zero likeable characters. I almost DNFd at 72% because of the out of character stuff going on, the twist wasn't a twist. I've never thought a cast of characters as a group of losers, but gosh, no one had anything good about them.

Thank you to Netgalley, Dreamscape Media, and Marie Still for an advance listening copy of We're All Lying in exchange for an honest review. This one got me sucked in right away and kept my attention throughout the whole story. I enjoyed how the story was told through different characters perspectives and how we learned so much about our characters. I did guess who the killer was but it didnt take away from the ending for me because there were so many pieces that I didnt solve! Some of the details in the beginning about Cass's mother were confusing to me but it all wraps up in the end and makes sense now why they were included. The narrator did a great job keeping me engaged and I would definitely listen to their work again. This one is out now!

We're all Lying was a domestic thriller about a successful career woman who's been cheated on from her charismatic and adoring husband. Our main protagonist is completely caught off guard especially when she learns its with one of her employees. We follow her as her behavior unravels and poor decisions are made. This was compulsively readable and the twists at the end were shocking. If you're a fan of domestic thrillers I think you'll find yourself enjoying this one! Thank you @netgalley for providing me with an arc!

I listened to this book on audio as an ARC through NetGally. I really enjoyed the different perspectives through the change of character point of views in each chapter. It starts out with an affair, and I became a bit frustrated with the main character during the story. There was a lot going on and the ending of the story was much different than I could have predicted. It kept my interest, but overall I felt that it was just drama after never ending drama.

A twisty domestic thriller with a fresh plot. I loved the mistress angle and the narration by a full cast was really well done. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early audio copy in exchange for my honest review! This was my first book by Marie Still but hopefully won't be my last.

Even though I guessed some of the twist, this story kept my attention the whole entire time! The MC definitely got on my nerves, but I’m assuming that was the point. I’d recommend!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Cass has a successful career and a loving husband – or so she thought. When she receives an email with photo evidence from her husband’s mistress, she knows her troubles are just getting started. But the email soon turns into harassment and stalking, pushing Cass to the edge. When her husband’s mistress disappears, Cass quickly goes from victim to suspect. Secrets are unearthed and lives put on the line as Cass’s life starts to unravel around her.
The characters of this work were okay but were lacking in development. Cass chose some strong stances during the book without us being provided any meaningful/realistic/relatable reason for her to do that (we were missing relevant backstory). The husband had no real development, and the chapters from his POV seemed unnecessary, though thankfully there weren’t many. The children felt like they only existed to make Cass a more sympathetic character – they might as well have not been present in the book for how much character and development they were given.
Since the characters were mediocre at best, I would have liked to have some sort of plot to bind this tale together. Not even a necessarily complex one, but something to keep things moving forward. As it is though, about 60% of the read is simply Cass saying how much she hates the mistress and trying to decide if she still wants her husband or not.
I listened to the audiobook version of this work and noticed that the dialogue was painfully stilted. It was hard to tell if that’s due to how it was written or due to the narrator; it did seem worse during Cass’s sections (each POV had a different narrator) but she also had significantly more dialogue in her chapters than the other POVs.
This fast-paced, over the top domestic drama was fine but lacked in some important areas. I still recommend it if you need a way to pass the time but wouldn’t go out of my way to read it otherwise. My thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for allowing me to read this work. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I've had a lot of luck with ALCs and ARCs lately, but the luck ended here.
The beginning of the story had me hooked: a successful businesswoman receives an email showcasing her husband's infidelity. Those first few chapters, I was CHASIN' the drama. But by about 30% through, I was over it.
The name of the book is spot on because literally. Everyone is lying. And everyone is awful. There wasn't a single likable character (except maybe the kids but they didn't do much). And I called part of the twist ending in the first quarter of the book. I definitely see what kind of story Still was going for, but it didn't click for me.
I don't like to DNF books so I powered through hoping it would get better but... it did not.

My rating: 3.75⭐
How far would you go to keep what's yours?
Someone is hunting Cass.
Cass lives an enviable life: a successful career, two great kids, and a handsome husband. Then an email from her husband's mistress, Emma, brings the façade of perfection crumbling around her, setting off a chain of events where buried secrets come back to haunt her.
Like the title, this book is full of lies, lies and more lies.
Who can you trust actually? The answer is no one.
Full of twist and turn which were quite predictable, it had an interesting plot enough to keep you interested.
Ethan was very unlikeable - who likes a cheating and a terrible husband anyway?
A deceitful husband..
A spiteful mistress...
Great friends
Spouse that kinda goes off the deep end
A Stalky / creepy employee...
how can it be boring.
The conclusion didn't satisfy me like i wanted however it was still okay.
If you like psychological thrillers then definitely check out Were All Lying.
The novel examines buried family secrets and how desperation can lead to fatal mistakes when We're All Lying.

This was a fun, twisty little thriller. Although I saw through some of the false leads and was pretty sure I knew who the ultimate villain was (and was right), I was completely off about the motivation behind it, which was interesting. I liked some of the characters and really disliked others. In general, the plot was engaging and fairly fast-paced. I believe it was my first book from this author, but I will be interested in seeing what else she has written.

Good afternoon and thanks for allowing me to listen to We're All Lying.
We're All Lying is a modern thriller that follows Cass, Ethan, their children, co workers and friends. Cass is a business owner/partner with skeletons in her closet. Her husband, Ethan, has his things he doesn't want her knowing also. We're All Lying is full twists and turns. I was on the edge of my seat and couldn't wait to see what happened next. It will keep you guessing until the end!!

I had a little trouble with the narrator on this one. Her affect is very flat and it was hard to get involved in the story. The story itself was pretty good, but the audiobook was a little difficult to digest due to the narrator. I would consider another book by this author if it had a different narrator.

Okay so yes I did see the twists coming but now how and that was the fun of the book. The two key characters were very flawed and I really wanted to shake Cass at times. I do like this as it shows that I got really involved in the story.
It was very addictive and I just had to keep listening to find out what was happening.
The narration worked really well.
Will definitely listen and read more by the author and narrators.
I was given an advance copy by netgalley and the publishers but the review is entirely my own.

What a crazy debut novel, literally! It was told in Multiple POV’s and hardly any of the characters were like-able, but it had a great plot. Casa has been married to Ethan for about 19 years. She hid some secrets, so did he, and apparently so did others. Casa was tolerable in the beginning, but then I was annoyed by her loosing her 💩 but I still enjoyed her craziness. Alice was insane in the membrane too, but I figured her out from the get go! And let’s not forget Ethan, ughhh! He was the worst of them all in my opinion, and I honestly didn’t wish him a happy ending 😆🥴 Once I got past the fluffy details, I couldn’t put it down since I wanted to know the outcome…all chismosa🥴🔪🩸 The narrations were good, but Cass at times sounded a bit Robotic.

💫Thank you @netgalley and @dreamscape_media for this suspenseful read in exchange for an honest review.

Cass is a woman with it all until she receives an email from her husband's mistress Emma. A lot of stalking drama ensues and when a body is discovered, Cass is in real trouble. Her support system is crumbling and she is left wondering where to turn.
What I really liked was the 3 narrators for each POV. Cass, her husband Ethan, and her assistant Alice each had their turn. The voices were helpful, mostly because the woman voicing Cass was not my favorite. Listening at 2X speed made her voice really high and I had to lower the speed to help. Having 3 POV's was a good way to tell the story as it questions the reality with each perspective.
If my short synopsis didn't give it away, I was not blown away by this story. The reasons why may give spoilers, so I'll refrain. Given the title, I had expected more, but for me it mostly felt predictable. I never liked any character, though that isn't necessarily important, but I just couldn't get the why of the characters actions, except one which explained it all in the final chapters. There was a surprise motive at the end which I didn't see coming. Ultimately, a ⭐⭐⭐ audio for me.
I am thinking I am in a very particular mood lately with thrillers, so don't take my word, this may be just the right story to keep you turning the pages.

It started with an email.
Cass had it all, an undeniable career, two wonderful kids, and an attractive husband… or so she thought. She gets an email from her husband's mistress. Cass' perfect life? Not so perfect anymore. Everything begins to unravel.
Despite the ups and downs, lying and cheating, and downright crazy parts of the plot, this novel immediately captured my attention and held it throughout. Threats are made, there is arson, and before the book is over, at least one person is found dead with another facing charges!
I thought this story was amazing and, aside from a little bit of mild predictability, I truly enjoyed it. If you like thrillers, I'd certainly suggest you give it a try!
Marie Still did a fantastic job!
This narrative was well-suited for the audio narrator, who did a fantastic job.

oh, boy! I really wanted to love this, but sadly that was not the case. Cass was such an unlikable MC. I think this had so much potential. but between the cliche-ness of some the predictably of the characters actions, some of the style of the writing, the narrator for Cass, and the repetitiveness of the first half of the book I just could not. I found the ending okay, but I felt it was out of nowhere and felt sorta rushed.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for an audio ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I really did not like the narrator for Cass - felt very little emotion- which I believe impacted my enjoyment of the book. I was fairly bored. Overall, a mediocre psychological thriller/family drama.
