Sissy is ready for Summer and is planning some tasty uses for the best tomatoes in town…until Walt turns up dead. Now it’s up to Sissy to figure out who had it in for the man, though it might be easier to figure who didn’t! Can Sissy figure out whodunit or is she going to be crushed?

A good cozy set in the midwest with a cute Yorkie that will steal your heart as you try to figure out whodunit along with Sissy and Duke. I’ve read several other books by this author and really enjoyed them, so whenever I see a new book by her, It’s added to my list of books to read!

I like Amy Lillard's Amish romances and her mysteries. She never disappoints. What a quick, easy read this one was.

Murder of the most unlikeable man in town, at his tomatoe farm. Discovered by the Same young woman who stumbled upon a murder victom the previous year. Is she
just unlucky or guilty?! This amusing story, will keep you chuckling as you try figuring out the twists & turns of "who dunit!" A fun read & zany characters keep you turning
the page & wanting more! I enjoyed the book & look forward to the next one!

The middle of this book goes around in circles, not much gets done. I’m not sure what Aspic has to do with the story. I did find the plot line to be interesting and unusual, I mean who would think of using manure as a motive. The characters are great. #AMurderofAspicProportions #NetGalley

When someone confesses to a murder, does that mean the case is solved? In this twist and turn mystery, the path to finding the true culprit may take time and effort. Tomatoes, disagreements and distrust, along with hope, love, and faith, are found in this story. Interesting characters and plot. I received a complimentary copy of the book. No review was required.

Cute addition to this cozy series.
Sissy is helping out in the family diner, and finds herself involved in a murder investigation.
The story is well written and the cast of characters is charming.
Always fun to read a book in the series.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for selecting me to read an advanced copy of this book.

A great whodunit!!

Amy Lillard has woven a great mystery in A Murder of Aspic Proportions. The story is set in a small town where we find Amy, an advice columnist turned manager and of course, sleuth. The Sunshine Cafe Mystery Series is one you’ll enjoy reading, I’m certain.

I really enjoyed this sequel in the Sunflower Café Mystery series, it had what I enjoyed from the first book. The plot works well and it had a great concept. I was invested in the mystery aspect and I enjoyed the characters going through this. Amy Lillard has a great writing style and I was hooked from the first page.

"I went over there last week and told him I wanted my money back, but he refused. Said I had already used it, and once it left his farm, he had no control over how it was used. He had no guarantee that I had done it correctly. Like I haven’t been getting that Special Blend from him all these years.” Jimmy Joe shook his head. “This new stuff doesn’t even smell the same. Here.” He went over to the side of the house and brought back one of the blue not-pickle buckets stacked there."
