So I am a fan of this series. I have tried reading the authors other series but they get a bit too crazy for me. I was hoping this book would be like the other books in the series but it was more in line with her other series. The whole plot was just a bit too over the top for me to find believeable.

This is a story about a princess, A-Lee (like Haylee but missing the H) who is now 33. She wants to honor her grandmere when she dies and deliver some love letters to her missing ex and he was last seen at the Rose Ranch many. many. many years ago. She almost gets there and her car breaks down and she starts walking down the road when T-Bone who lives at the ranch finds her and brings her to the ranch. They then try and figure out who the guy is. They think Lefty will know the most but he is on a roadtrip and will be back in a few weeks.

I loved the original series. Like I adored it. But this story was just not my cup off tea. I felt it was a bit too much over the top for me and its been so long since I read the original series that I had no real connection to Alee and Tbone. I did love reading about the previous couples were doing and how they have changed over the years. But I did feel that the A-Lee/T-bone and Lefty plot was a bit too much for me and utterly silly. I did enjoy going back to the ranch though and so thats why I kept reading this book.

This was a fun read by Katie Gradkowski. I found myself smiling and laughing out loud. There were some cheezy, eye roll moments that aren't my favorite. But as a whole I loved this book. The storyline was great with easy to like characters. This is a great standalone, but I really want to go back and read the earlier books in this series.

Texas Rose Happily Ever After
By Katie Graykowski

T-Bone and A-Lee, are a perfect match

A-Lee (as she likes to be called) is a Swacovian princess who wants a different sort of life. Not that she doesn’t love her family and country, she is just looking for a place to fit in. On her grandmother’s deathbed, she promises to deliver a box of letters her grandmother had written to A-Lee’s biological grandfather, a man A-Lee had no idea existed. The last know whereabouts of Llewellyn Bradford was the Texas Rose Ranch. So, at thirty-three A-Lee sets out on her first solo adventure. Where she is promptly stranded on the side of the road out of gas. T-Bone is happy to be back home after completing his Ph.D. in Agribusiness and he can begin to implement his ideas to improve and modernize the cattle portion of the Texas Rose Ranch. He happens upon a woman bedazzled in rhinestones walking on highway 16 carrying a box and dragging a suitcase behind her. Surprised she is heading toward his home; he gives her a ride to the ranch.

I loved being back on the Texas Rose Ranch with T-Bone’s older brothers and their wives. A big, loud, prank-playing, and loving family. Ms. Graykowski created a world that I would love to live in… even in the Texas heat of August and September. I loved how A-Lee is an adorable klutz, and how T-Bone just loves that about her. How the brothers interacted with each other not only with bantering but with love and acceptance. And ready to jump in and help one another. This is a wonderful family. I was so excited to get T-Bone, the youngest Rose son’s story. With A-Lee having four older (and unattached) brothers, is it possible we’ll get their stories someday? Henri’s reaction to Rosie’s sister Ester sounds like a story I would like to read! I really hope so! I received an arc from NetGalley, and this is my honest review.

Finally!! The last Rose brother gets his story. San Antonio "T-Bone" Rose meets "A-Lee", an out of place princess on the road leading to his family's ranch. The characters, as always, are strong and funny. I would love to meet this strong-willed family. A-Lee is on a mission to find her just discovered grandfather to deliver love letters written by her grandmother, who just passed away. It was great to catchup with all the members of the Rose family and meet the newest members. Kendall, the 2 year old, is a hoot. And, you can never go wrong, when Lefty is in the picture as well.

Can A-Lee find her grandfather?

Swacovian Princess Alexandra Louis Eleanor Evangeline Von Claremont or A-Lee had promised her maternal grandmother on her deathbed to deliver the letters to her grandfather after they had lost touch during the Korean War. The last place Llewellyn Bradford worked was the Texas Rose Ranch so A-Lee would start checking there if she hadn’t run out of gas first.

San Antonio “T-Bone” Rose never expected to see anybody walking down Highway 16 in the September heat but there was something about A-Lee that he couldn’t get out of his mind especially while she looked for information about her grandfather.

I was thrilled to find out that Katie Graykowski had written a new Texas Rose Ranch Novel because T-Bone gets his HEA with A-Lee and now I want a series about A-Lee’s brothers.
