Jamie Donovan’s life turns upside down when he finds himself responsible for a baby, whilst running a business. When he opens his door, to find a baby on his doorstep, he doesn’t know who to turn to, except his siblings. When it is suggested that he turns to Fallon Murphy, he wonders if he should have asked someone else. Fallon and Jamie have never seen eye to eye, but when Jamie’s sister turns to her, she agrees to help.
Another great addition to this series! I found Jamie grew up very quickly in this book, as he went from being the local Casanova to someone with responsibilities. However, this did mean that his behaviour did at times have me shaking my head in disbelief. The slow burn to this romance, made this story more believable and watching Jamie, through Fallon’s eyes, made it apparent how their relationship grew, as he faced his responsibilities. I would have liked to have had the author delve more into Fallon’s character but overall, this was a sweet read.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have not read the previous books in this series but I was not at all lost. This was the enemies to lovers, unexpected baby genre and it truly worked for me. Jamie was a charmer, and a flirt but one morning wakes up to find a previous short term relationship produces a newborn baby left on his front porch. He needs to start adulting as the baby of the family has never been taken seriously. Fallon, the frenemy, has moved back home, unemployed and living at her parents house. She ends up nannying for Jamie’s baby and thus a forced proximity becomes a love story with lots of ups and downs. This was an enjoyable quick read and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

Jamie Donovan Gets His Time to Shine!!

With the Donovan parents traveling Jamie gets his chance to run the pub, and make some improvements. What he does not expect is a newborn left on his front porch with a note. His ex-girlfriend is leaving him in charge for a few weeks while she “gets help”. The family circles the wagons - but they all have work and basically no “baby” experience.

Enter family friend Fallon. She has multiple degrees, has been a nemesis to Jamie, but also lost two jobs in quick succession and needs a regroup as she recently moved back home. She has much babysitting experience.

Family, friends, teamwork and the importance of young life. Romance, responsibilities and life-changing decisions. A fabulous, realistic, yet charming story of fortitude and strength. Touching and entertaining.

This may have minor SPOILERS so be warned🚩

Loved this!

I love how the H changed his player ways once he found out he was a father. The poor guy didn’t have a clue about fatherhood especially being a single father to a new born. But thankfully the h was there to save the day and boy did she ever. I just loved her. She never took any of the H crap and told him exactly how it was. My only complaint (and the reason for the rating) was the ending drama. I didn’t like the way the H was acting. And it wasn’t just towards the h but towards everyone. But other then that I loved it especially the side characters. His siblings and their partners are just the best.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Loved all the characters and plan on going back and reading this series in order before Patricks book comes out.

Happy Reading Everyone🖤

Oh, and for the people who were wondering (like myself) the H is not with any OW in this book. It’s just him and the h.
Also, I received an ARC from NetGalley but this review is 100% all me.

Well - when there are so many wonderful things about a book, where in the world do I start the my review?!?!

I guess I’ll start with the character names - Jamie is my brother’s name, Donovan is my son’s name, and Murphy is my maiden name. So it felt like I “belonged”with these characters.

Next, I have read all of the previous books in this series and never quite understood where the author was going to go with his story. She definitely didn’t disappoint and she mixed some really great troupes together!

Things are turned upside down when a baby appears on Jamie's doorstep. After realizing the baby is his, Jamie must figure out how to work and take care of a newborn. Thankfully, his siblings come to the rescue with a solution, just not one that he will like. They suggest his childhood nemesis, Fallon take care of baby Asher. Things get heated in more ways than one when she agrees.
Opinion
This book is all about heartbreak and overcoming it. Between Fallon's job problems, what is going on with the baby momma (Jenn) and Jamie being a complete dope and screwing up in more ways than one, this book is full of heartbreak.
What makes this book so great is the way everything comes to a resolution. The ending was so sweet and perfect, like I've come to expect from Samantha Chase. This book is a perfect addition to the Donovan series and I just cannot wait to see what's next.
Many thanks to Net Galley and Valentine PR for providing me with an ARC of this book.

Every Donovan Sibling is intense and has strong emotions. But, damn, Jamie takes the cake on this one. This book has all the intense feelings. I loved the enemies to lovers story line, and baby Asher will steal your heart. While this can be a stand alone story- I highly recommend reading it as part of the Donovan Siblings Series. @SamanthaChase wrote another amazing story!

If there was an award for the biggest flirt of Laurel Bay, Jamie Donovan would win it hands-down. At this point, he has probably charmed every woman within their nice little town. Never one for a long lasting relationship, but yet he prides himself on being able to end a relationship on good terms. Until the one Jamie thought could just let go and then left him with the biggest surprise of his life.

Fallen Murphy had big dreams. She has a goal of getting higher education and stuck to it. Now, having a high-level education in early childhood development is not working out quite the way that she expected it to. Two jobs in two different towns, and neither one of them worked out. Fallen returns home to Laurel Bay to figure out what her next move is.

Fallon and Jamie have been mortal enemies since they were five years old. Something that continued well through adulthood. Upon Fallin’s return they pick up just where they left off. Until a moment that changed Jamie‘s life also interned changed Fallon as well. With a newborn left on his doorstep Jamie’s life changed in an instant. Knowing he needed the help of his family, he calls in the cavalry yet even with his family’s help, they alone can’t do it. Jamie's sister calls in the help of family friend and Jamie‘s longtime rival Fallon, knowing she can help care for this precious baby. In an instant, the dynamic between the two of them shifted and realized that there was something more important going on than their bickering. Fallon teaches Jamie how to care for his new son and the dynamic between the two of them changes tremendously. Most of the bickering has stopped and the need to fight each other is quite different. There's a feeling shift to something else. Is it really something else or was it just something they were hiding from one another.

I absolutely loved Charm Me. Jamie and Fallon are absolutely perfect for each other. They push each others boundaries in the best ways. Once they stopped fighting and learned that they were such a complement to one another they became something tremendously beautiful. Jamie not only charmed his son, but he charmed the girl that he never thought he’d even want to charm.

Jaime Donovan enjoyed the commitment free life. Now given the chance to run the family pub and prove to everyone he could do it was something he had his heart set on while his parents were away. At least that was the plan.

Fallon long time family friend whose life isn't going as planned. After not having luck in the job market returns home to regroup. Her bestfriend (Jaime's sister) still lived in town and so did unfortunately her brother whom Fallon never got along with (Jaime).

Staying out of each other way was the plan but unfortunately (maybe fortunately) for them a baby brings them together as Jaime finds out he is a father and the mother has left the baby on his doorstep with a note. Not knowing what to do Jaime reaches out to his family and his sister steps up and calls Fallon who has background with children. She agrees without all the details and both Jaime and Fallon (initially surprised to be working together) find themselves side be side supporting the new addition to the family.

Fallon jumps into the role with a few rules and adjusts immediately to helping with the baby and watches as Jaime becomes a great dad. It doesn't happen overnight but he eventually catches on. The more time they spend together the more lines are crossed and new questions arise. The animosity that was once there seems to go away, they tackle news and next steps together, and what appears could be the start of uncovering new feelings between the two.

Another sweet story by Samantha Chase! This one had all of the cute tropes I love. Small town, single dad, enemies to lovers, forced proximity and of course a dual POV with a HEA! I enjoyed Fallon's character and how her relationship with Jamie grew. A cute easy read.

Jamie and Fallon are perfect for each other.

I love any small town that Samantha Chase writes about. Laurel Bay may be my favorite because I love the Donovan family! I love Jamie Donovan; he certainly charmed me! He’s able to charm anyone, however, when a baby is left on his doorstep, he has to call in the Donovan siblings to help. They in turn bring in Fallon Murphy, the one person on earth who may just loath him. Fallon has problems of her own, being fired from her last job, she’s back home in Laurel Bay to search for what comes next. She never dreamed it would be taking care of Jamie Donovan’s son.

Jamie and Fallon’s journey toward a HEA is what Samantha Chase does best. There is laughter, love, angst, and a large family to help sort things out when they go kerflooey. Her characters are loving and strong but not perfect, but they find the perfect complement for themselves. Jamie’s life changed in a moment and while he is flabbergasted, he rises to the occasion and becomes a great dad! I love watching him be all he can be and realizing he needs Fallon to make that happen. I’m looking forward to Patrick’s story to complete the Donovan siblings. I received an arc of this book from NetGalley and this is my honest review.

Charm Me is a fabulous story full of fun, family, and romance. Jamie and Fallon have known each other for years and never saw eye to eye on anything. But when the chips are down, Fallon steps in, with some persuading from Jamie's sister, to help. I love the banter between Jamie and Fallon. Their friendship grew into so much more, and their chemistry was great. I truly love this series and the Donovan family.

Jamie Donovan can charm anyone, but he knows he is out of depth when he is unexpectedly left the job of taking care of his newborn son.
Fallon has just been fired from her second job, and has returned to her parents house to try and think what to do with her life, when she gets roped into helping Jamie take care of her newborn baby.
Charm me is a delightful read. We have seen Jamie as a fun loving, never take anything too seriously kind of guy, and I really enjoyed watching him grow and mature emotionally. Fallon and Jamie have known each other since they were kids and have been kind of frenemies. But now working together, taking care of a child they finally see each other and recognize how attracted they are to each other. This book has a lovely mix of some fun times, humorous banter and some really emotional moments. Overall an enjoyable read.

This book is amazing! It is everything you expect to find in a Samantha Chase book and a little something extra. Jamie, who has always been quite the charmer, and Fallon, had an usual relationship for most of their lives. They seemed to not like each other very much at all if all the fighting they did was any indication. She was the one person he could never charm. But you know what they say, there is a fine line between love and hate. When Fallon moves back to town she ends up in Jamie’s life for one very adorable tiny reason. And what happens after that is mostly wonderful. Of course Jamie almost loses Fallon with his not so charming ways but as you are hoping while reading everything works out in the end. I loved it!!! Can’t wait for the next Donovan, Patrick, in Kiss Me. This is such a great series!!

Jamie and Fallon are childhood enemies to lovers. Their dynamic and there fire is what makes this a fabulous read. Although closed door romance isn't always my favorite Samantha Chase does it very well and creates a well rounded romance to it's enjoyable to read any the HEA leaves you with a smile on your face.

I love a good enemies to lovers. Frenemies to lovers. It was great to see Jamie stepping up and being responsible. This was a very fun read. The chemistry between Jamie and Fallon is thick. I’m looking forward to the next one.

Charm Me by Samantha Chase, book four in The Donovans series, is an enemies to lovers, surprise baby, close proximity romance that reminds us of that fine line between love and hate. Jamie is thrilled to finally be in charge of his family’s pub, while his parents are on a long vacation. He has plans to make changes, never realizing that it’s his life that is about to change when the last girl he was involved with leaves a three week old baby on his doorstep with a note saying Asher is his. As the Donovans do, they gather together to help problem solve. Then his sister calls the last person he could ever consider helpful to come assist; his old nemesis Fallon. Fallon is currently unemployed, and the perfect person to be his nanny while Jamie figures out how to juggle his job and a new baby. Fallon and Jamie have a long history of competition and verbal put downs, so it’s surprising when they start to see each other in a different light. Jamie and Fallon realize quite quickly that after years of antagonism, they actually get along relatively well and work together to help care for the truly innocent little Asher.

As Jamie learned to deal with so many new and unknown situations, he eventually managed to get his priorities straight, finding a way to take care of those he loves. While Fallon appeared a bit lost in the beginning, she also grew, coming into her own. The compassionate manner in which Asher’s mom was written was appreciated.

Ms. Chase wrote a wonderful, funny, and emotional story that should not to be missed. She provided a tale that sizzled, magnetic attraction, humorous conversations, laugh-out-loud moments, endearing secondary characters, and an overbearing family helping Jamie and Fallon get a chance at love, happiness, and a future together. I highly recommend Charm Me to other readers and look forward for the next book in the series.

A romance with all the feels! Trust me, you'll need a few tissues to get through this one as it will tug at your heartstrings! This enemies to lovers is sweet, funny, sad and a myriad of other emotions that will entertain and delight you while giving you all the feels! You could easily read this book as a standalone, but I highly recommend starting with the first book in the series and reading from there. Not only will you magnify and extend your enjoyment, but each book builds upon the last by helping to flesh out and offer glimpses into the other characters' lives and personalities. The author has created a family dynamic that is both realistic and inspirational. I can't wait for the next book in the series!
