Decent mystery, but scratching my head at the other reviewers who were surprised at the identity of the killer. Not sure they were reading the same book I was? Because it was pretty clear from almost the beginning whodunit. It is still a fast-paced thriller, and a good way to spend a lazy afternoon.

Rick Mofina is one of my favorite authors of mystery, and I enjoyed this book. It features Claire Bowen, a psychologist whose hope of a happy future with her husband is crumbling. When one of her patients vanishes, detective Joe Tanner heads the task force that is formed when the case is tied to several cold case murders. Both Claire and Joe are in for a dark and dangerous ride as they try to stop this killer.
I enjoyed the characters of Claire and Joe, and wanted the best outcome for both of them. The storyline held my attention, and the book had plenty of fast paced action.
