Overall pretty good mystery. Surprisingly, the author's voice is much clearer and more defined when writing from the perspective of a nine-year-old child than as an adult, but most of the book is a flashback so this isn't that big of a deal. Not difficult to figure out the culprit, which seemed a bit of a cop-out in the whole of the plot.
