Saving Grayson is a Christian story that will give empathetic readers a glimpse of the emotional toll that a brain condition can bring for families. Who doesn’t worry about Alzheimer’s as they get older? It can happen to anyone but no one worried about it until it hits home. Once it happens, this story can bring hope, courage and faith to the reader that God’s future is in His hands. The story is slow-paced, and reflective. While there is extensive character development with Grayson, the other characters were not developed as much. I would’ve liked a more rounded story that told more about Lotty. Overall, I’d recommend this enjoyable story of one man’s quest to redeem his soul, before it’s too late. Four out of five stars. Thanks to Tyndale House Publishers via NetGalley for this arc.
