An adorable non-fiction picture book set in rhyme that share with little ones how animals show affection. I loved this book and if I had any little grandchildren - mine are all too big now - I would snuggle with them on my lap and read this to them every chance I could. Such a feel good - and the illustrations are so sweet and calming. Simple prose so that children can recite with you as you read! In addition to the rhyming text the additional bonus of a short sentence explaining the animal behavior is on each page and then when you get to the back of the book there is a glossary of sorts that goes into greater detail about each one of the animals highlighted in the book. I love this book! The illustrations are gorgeous and I liked the fact the text is also educational. The animals featured are diverse as well as the people towards the end of the book. It’s also neat that there is additional educational information about each type of animal at the end of the book. I highly recommend

This is a very sweet little book that works well as a read aloud for young children. I like that there is also a section at the end of the book with additional information if you want to learn more about each animal. The pictures in this story are utterly adorable and charming to look at with children.

This book offers two tales for different ages. For younger kids, it's a simple bedtime story about the ways animals show affection in the wild. Additional text provide more background for preschoolers and older toddlers. Considering pairing with "We All Play" by Julie Flett for a great animals and us storytime.

I loved this. The art was adorable and the animals were super cute. The story was fun and had a positive message. It is everything you want in a children's book. I love the art so much. I will be rereading this picture book.

Animal Snuggles is an absolutely adorable book that I would 100% recommend if you love cute animals. It has a beautiful illustration style that makes each animal look super sweet, and features an engaging rhyming verse across the pages along with facts too. At the back of the book there are pages that offer additional facts which I really enjoyed reading. I didn't know some of the animal behaviours and found it interesting to learn about even as an adult.

This was a sweet and simple read. Some of the structure is inconsistent so that it loses the rhythmic style that’s so comforting with children’s books but it did not delight my 6 year old any less because of it!

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for an eARC of this title. This is a lovely book with beautiful illustrations. I especially like the section in the back with extra scientific information and facts about the animals pictured. This is a great addition to an elementary library!

This is a very cute animal book to read at bedtime or nap time as it reads very much like a lullaby. However I am a little bit conflicted. I felt like I had to read through it twice; the first time reading just the main text and the second reading the subtext as well. I didn’t like how reading the animal facts seem to interrupt the rhythm yet I do appreciate their inclusion and I’m not sure how else they could’ve done it as they don’t really fit in with the animal facts at the end either. Overall a nice read with adorable animal pictures.

A really adorable book! The text and the illustrations mesh seamlessly. It is a warm, inviting book for children that also includes more nonfiction information at the end. Very well done!

This adorable book shows us all the different way animals snuggle. The illustrations are beautiful throughout, displaying an array of animals embracing their young. The back of the book has tidbits of information to give curious young readers some additional insight into the adorable, snugly animals.

This will be a must add to your bedtime book shelf!

Animal Snuggles is a heartwarming picture book with a beautiful rhyming text and additional sidebars of information about how animals parent their young. The rhyming text is lyrical and sweet with excellent rhythm and a natural rhyming pattern. The sidebars invite additional readings of the text to find out more information about each animal. The added information makes this book appropriate for a wider age range. The back matter is very informative, giving excellent additional information about each animal in writing that is easy for children to understand. This book would be an excellent addition to any classroom curious about animals. I would also recommend it to families for bedtime reading. It is sure to inspire snuggles!

This was a sweet children’s book. The illustrations were well done and the content was informative and engaging. Definitely an enjoyable read for children and parents alike.

So freaking cute! The illustrations were my favorite part. They were amazing. I think the wording could have been a little better. It didn't flow perfectly. But overall it was super cute. Anything with sea otters is a win!

My toddler loved Animal Snuggles. He enjoyed learning about each animal at the end of the book. The illustrations are fun and colorful. The humans got me with the heartbeat to heartbeat. This is a very adorable book!

This super cute book is sure to make you smile. The text is very sort-only a few words per page. The end pages provide great information about how different animals show affection.

This was a winner with my kids who are 4,7,9. They love animals and they loved hearing about each type of animal and what each mother and baby are like.
I started reading it to my 4 and 7 year old and my 9 year old crept over because he loves all kinds of animals . They loved the artwork and learning more about each animal. Beautifully done . We will be adding this to our collection.

Cute, heart-warming book about the relationship between animal babies and their mothers. Added interesting facts about the animals at the end of the book offers extra topics of discussions for the reader. Some pages seems to not be in order.
