This book focuses on our three main characters Emily, Sasha, and Cecelia. Emily is a young woman who is slowly being drive mad by the crying baby next door. This poor child cries all night and nothing seems to be helping either it or poor Emily get some sleep. Cecelia is our new mother trying her best to make things work even though they don’t always come as easily to her as she things they should. Sasha on the other hand has had a lot of hardships in her life. She just lost her mother and then at the same time she finds out she was adopted as a child. The life that she thought she knew and had as now been turned completely upside down. So in trying to figure things out Sasha finds herself drawn back to the house where she had once grown up. Things start to keep off however when Sasha gets to the door because before she can explain who she is frazzled Cecelia answers and mistakes her for the new babysitter. Unable to voice that there has been a mistake Sasha decides to seize this moment as a chance to explore the home where she once lived and hopefully unlock some memories she has hidden away about her past. Now I’m not normally a fan of books with multiple points of view changes however this one was done very well and it was super easy for the reader to keep things organized which is the key. While each character has a very different story line taking place it was really interesting to try to figure out how they were all connected in the end. This was the first book that I’ve read by Casey Kelleher and I was very pleased. Her characters were strongly written, her plot was so vast but tied together seamlessly in the end, and her writing style made you sink into a work of her creating as you lose sense of everything around you. Overall I was thrilled and elated with this story. This is one thriller that will be on everyone’s to read list and every best seller list in no time and I’m so glad that I got the chance to check it out first. Not only will this book leave you raving about it to anyone who will listen it also will leave you breathless and haunt your dreams for many nights to come. Great read and with so many twists I couldn’t get enough. I really enjoyed every moment of this book and I cant wait until it is released and everyone else gets the chance to read this one of a kind masterpiece.

Casey Kelleher is yet to write a bad book.
This was a slow burner but a significant Point is that I did not see the twist coming.
Book really picks up in the second half.
Book is divided into easy chapters set out per character with their stories entwining.
I did find this book refreshing as often nowadays thrillers start to follow similar storyline’s.
Not my favourite Kelleher book, but the B you have so many more to look forward to after reading this!

When Sasha’s mum passes away she leaves behind a secret, a secret that means that everything Sasha ever believed about her life was a lie and she is determined to uncover the truth of who she really is and oh boy what a can of worms she is just about to open!
A whole cast of unreliable, and at times absolutely toxic and completely unlikeable characters jump out of the pages and right under your skin, they will implore you to listen to them, to believe their truth, they will tantalise, tease and they will twist and oh my goodness what a deliciously twisted novel this was!
As each little secret is slowly revealed and the truth uncovered you will find yourself thinking Aha! Only for another spanner to be thrown in the works.
Casey Kelleher ramps up the tension where needed, before lulling you into a false sense of security and then putting you through the wringer again and again! It’s dark, it’s devious, it’s unpredictable and it is completely unputdownable!

This was a slower read for me. It did have a good twist though! I wasn't very interested in Emily's story until the two stories connected which took a long time.

Could not put this thriller down! Devoured it in just over a day! Loved the storyline and it kept me guessing throughout its entirety. Twists and turns left me guessing and loved the conclusion of this novel. Will definitely recommend to friends!

This was a well written, easy read. It was suspenseful and had some serious twists and turns. I did find it a bit predictable and I didn’t love the character of Emily but the story itself flowed nicely and kept me turning pages. Great plot, fast pace.

Honestly I wish I hadn’t finished this one. It just fell a little flat for me and I wasn’t engrossed like I wanted to be when I read a thriller.

The most chilling book I've read in ages! The past and present entwine to create the most atmospheric, spine tingling read. Who to believe, who is crazy , who is the murderer ??? I don't want to give any spoilers so I'll just say if you want a book that keeps you guessing til the very last page, this is the book for you! Brilliant writing, full of suspense and tension.

A book with lots of twists and turns. Was a bit more of a slow burn than the thrillers I’m used to reading but the ending was very good. I was honestly shocked with how the main characters stories came together.

This was my first Casey Kelleher book and it will not be my last. Excellent . Tense and atmospheric. Four big stars . Tank you to the publisher for an ARC of this.

I throughly enjoyed this book, it was such a gripping read with two pov from Sasha and Emily. The writing style really got my attention with the short chapters as it kept me engaged to the story.
The two pov did confuse me at first however, it make sense when you get more into the story as you follow Sasha who is searching for clues and figuring out her past prior to being adopted and then Emily who has been released from the mental hospital.

Whew what a wild one!
Kelleher really took the reader on a ride & she knows how to build an untrustworthy narrator. I loved the back & forth between Sasha and Emily. Though I will say I did find Sasha’s chapters to be more entertaining only because Emily was such a basket case. Toward the end, the twists didn’t fully shock me. It was easy to figure out who Sasha and Emily were to each other but it was still fun and crazy to read. I fully enjoyed it!

This book was a good thriller. At first I was confused on the different points of view, but the author brought it together nicely and a few twists made my jaw drop. I immediately went to look for more books by this author. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for a chance to read this.

I have never read a book by author Casey Kelleher, so I was excited to receive an advanced readers copy. I devoured this book in 2 days! The Babysitter's Secret is so perfectly creepy, I will be thinking about it for months! The way the author weaves together 2 storylines is absolutely brilliant, and the characters were so well written. I will be telling everyone to check out this book and author!

I did not see the twist coming. Which is rare because I usually pick up on these things.
Riveting.
I couldn't put it down.
I received a copy from NetGalley and all opinions are my own.

3.5 stars ⭐️ thank you NetGalley for allowing me access to read this arc. I enjoyed it very much. I was a bit slow paced the first 40% and I wished it wasn’t because the book itself is short and less than 300 pages. It took me a few days to get through it. However, the last 40% of the book was really good and fast! The ending was a bit rushed but I could not put this book down! The plot twist was great!
Sasha is trying to find answers of her past and goes to her childhood home and is met with a single mom of 2 who thinks Sasha works for a child care agency. Instead of Sasha clearing things up she decides to play along and act as the babysitter in hopes to stay in that home to get answers to her past. Things take a CRAZY turn. Please look up trigger warnings as this book touches on CHild ab and child unaliving.

Casey Kelleher does it again! I've read and loved her last couple of psychological thrillers, but this for me is the best - beautifully atmospheric with a haunting, gothic feel in parts, and a twisty plotline that had me guessing throughout. I didn't see how Sasha's and Emily's stories would come together, and when they did it was a total surprise. Highly recommended for all thriller lovers who enjoy unreliable narrators.

Wow! I will say that I adore every single one of Casey Kelleher’s books. This one is no exception. She is one of those authors that I do not read the blurbs, just go in blind. So many creepy secrets, lies and oh the tension! Another great page turner with fabulous characters. Highly recommend.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book

3.5 stars!
This was a slow start thriller for me. This was a dual POV based on two woman named Sasha and Emily and it follows Sasha who is searching for clues and figuring out her past prior to being adopted and Emily who has been released from the mental hospital . These two interconnected stories were a bit confusing at first but the twisty thriller makes sense towards the end. I would say, if you like fast paced heart racing thrillers, this is not for you. If you like a slow but a twisty story then this is one for you!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.
This was a slow starting suspense/thriller. Well written and held my interest because I wanted to find out how it ended. I found the multiple points of view a bit confusing at first but then it comes together.
