The good: The descriptions of the Amalfi Coast firmly entrenched this place at the top of my bucket list, and the tantalizing food had me drooling.

The not-so-good: Jake and Mira kept circling around to the same conversation, over and over. It felt repetitive and I started to get a little bored with it.

I needed to go to bed, but kept getting sucked in for “just one more chapter”. The story felt very unrealistic, but it was fun to read!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for letting me read this ARC in exchange for my honest review!

This was an absolutely perfect second book for Jake and Mira.

After life got in the way following their Paris trip, Mira moves to Italy to find herself, gets herself an Italian fling, and Jake gets himself an L.A. girl…and then their friends from the Paris picnic get married and guess who’s in close proximity again?!?!

I absolutely love these two. Mira lives the life she wants (and needs), and is brave in so many ways. Jake finally listens to his inner voice and starts to find himself too. The writing is perfect—the characters are both flawed and personable. The setting is almost poetically beautiful. The adventures being had are life-changing ones for any of the characters in the book.

I was hoping I would love this book after falling completely head over heels for Mira and Jake in the first, and I definitely did!
