3 mins with Jesus: 180 Devotions for Women is easy to follow, short, and sweet. Each day includes a line or two of scripture, ways to relate that to our own life, and a prayer. My favorite element is the short prayer at the end of each devotional. Even if the scripture may not jump out at you or the story may not feel like it resonates at the time, the prayer feels perfect. I love that so many of the prayers include the words "thank you" I always love to show gratitude in my prayers & this is a helpful guide for that.

This devotional is a blessing! There are 180 devotional a page long, so they are short and meaningful. They start with a Bible verse, then short paragraphs making application, and end with a prayer. One devotional described how we can ask Jesus to be our Lord and Savior, to acknowledge God as King and Creator of the universe, asking Him to come and live within our hearts and take control of our lives. One describes how God can take our tiny (mustard) seed to grow it into something magnificent. Another one that I also liked reminded us not to be easily distracted by "bright and shiny objects" but to have perspective to shape our lives. The devotions are life-changing!

This devotional book is great for individuals who are short on time but still want to start their day off with a Christ-centered devotion. If readers want more, they can definitely read the adjacent Scriptures to dig further, but this devotional accomplished their goal of something quick and uncomplicated.

Short and sweet devotionals to get your day going. Ideal for someone like me with a toddler who doesn’t understand the concept of quiet time, where I know I can take a few minutes to start the day with Jesus.

This is a great book for those who want to grow in faith.
It would have been better if it had numbered days.

This devotional has been a very effective read. Each one is short and to the point, but gives the reader something to think about and pray over; as well as do some more in depth reading in the Bible of the subject matter of each devotional. Thoughtful and recommended.

Very short devotional which is perfect for busy mommas or stay at home mommas. Simple and to the point.

This was a very good book. Just about every devotional has the Gospel in it, which gets the message out to come to Christ. Each devotional begins with a Scripture from the New Living Translation, then the devotional part, and ends with a prayer. This would be very good for new or wayward Christians. There are times we need to get back to the basics, and that is what this book does. I highly recommend this book. I do recommend not rushing through this, but go through it slowly - day by day - so you can “digest” it.

We all make time for the things that are important to us, What better way could we spend 3 minutes than at Jesus' feet.

This devotional is a great way for busy women/moms to carve out a few minutes a day to read a scripture, a short reflection, and a prayer prompt. While not a deep study, I was encouraged by the way Janice Thompson points you to meditate on who Christ is through his word so that we will be spurred on towards knowing our Savior in all his fullness. There is know greater joy than knowing God's word, and giving him glory by honoring him with our lives. But to do that we must start somewhere, and this six months of daily devotions is a great place to start.

I think this will be a short, sweet addition to a deeper devotional, tuck it away in your car for those few minutes before you head into work, waiting in the school pickup line, etc to just get a sweet nugget of truth for encouragement.

I appreciate that these are easy to get through and are not meant for deep reflection. I do wish they had numbered days on them and were maybe for the whole year - I do get that not everyone has time each day for this so that's why it isn't every day. I like the Bible verse and quick reflection for each short page.
