This was a fantastic book on a personal account of schizophrenia. The author had a brilliant insight into her illness, covering a wide range of topics that helps the reader to get a better understanding of the illness and what sufferers experience.

I loved the little illustrations the author included in the book. It added a nice personal touch. I have a loved one with schizophrenia so it was so interesting and eye opening reading about someone’s challenges with the illness. I loved the reality check sections at the end of some chapters. Although I have never experienced psychosis myself, I was about to relate to some of the content in the book, so not only did I learn more about schizophrenia, but I also found it enlightening for myself, too.

Georgia Brask gives her true account of her life as someone who’s dealing with PS, the insights and information that is portrayed throughout the book is so personal but such eye opening, I loved reading this book as someone who suffers with other mental health Illnesses, it gives me so much understanding to what others go through, it was incredible and a breath of fresh air, it is well written and I encouraging that you are never alone. I would highly recommend reading this book even if you don’t know anyone personally who suffers with PS just to get and understanding what of this illness
