A steamy romance that occurs in the midst of a missing persons investigation. It has witches, family drama and a missing person. This is the 8th book in the series. I was intrigued enough to want to read the rest of the series.

Tried to get into this one but it was very confusing for me initially. Had to DNF pretty early on which I’m was upset about.

Oh, where to start on this one. Fated mates and paranormal romances are one of my favorite tropes to read! The writing style in this one was a little much for me though. I wish I had realized that it was very far along in a series, because I think that would have made some parts easier to follow. KJ and April's love story was great, but I don't think I will be reading the others in the series anytime soon.

Thank you, Evernight Publishing, Serenity Snow, and NetGalley, for the ARC.

This book was excellent. It sucked because I didn't know it was the 8th book series, so some parts were confusing. I will go back and read the first seven books, however. Besides that, I loved it. It was mystery/paranormal/romance which is my favorite. It is also Fated Mates, which is one of my go-to tropes. KJ and April are very likable. I want to know about Tatianna and Alexei, but those are in the first books, so I'll probably get to know them more. I'm excited that I found this author and will read more of her books.

I recommend reading this book. But do read the other books first.

Oh boy, this was something. I didn’t really know what I was going into but this was really an adventure. The plot was a little bit all over the place and I don’t know if I would give the author a second chance moving forward, but it is very entertaining.
