An enjoyable novel that had many twists and turns to keep me entertained. I look forward to more novels by this author.

I figured out pretty quickly what the premise of the book was but was surprised by the twist at the end! I liked the character and plot development and although I thought I knew what would happen I was still interested throughout.

Have you seen her is a slow burn thriller that will keep you guessing until the end. While I didn't see some of the twists coming, it did leave me wanting a more fast pace in certain parts.

Cassie has a lot of secrets from her past. As people begin to disappear, her past begins to be revealed more and more. Does she have anything to do with the present day issues or is someone from her past coming back to haunt her?

Overall I would recommend to thriller fans!

I enjoyed this book. the writing was good, it was thrilling. I felt like the twist dropped a little to late but I still enjoyed the ride. I didn't enjoy the romantic sub plot, I do not enjoy romance in my murder books, but that is a personal preference.

The writing was nice, descriptive without being too overly detailed.

I did not know where this book was going and it went somewhere I didn’t expect in the best way.

I was invested from the beginning, and needed to know what was going to happen. It was enthralling. I really enjoyed it.

A solid thriller. I liked the fact that I couldn't guess the ending, and I found I wasn't bored when reading. Enjoyed!

Have You Seen Her is a suspenseful thriller full of secrets set against an atmospheric, wilderness backdrop. Cassie Peters has left her NYC life to go back to her hometown and a job in Yosemite with the Search and Rescue team. Over the summer, as she tries to outrun her past, she crosses paths with two other woman who are also dealing with their own secrets. I found the unravelling of what was going on well done and enjoyed this story from start to finish. The dual timeline and buildup to the reveal was excellent and I was surprised at how things came together. I will definitely pick up the next Catherine McKenzie book!

This was a sloooooow burn. And I am not the biggest fan of slowburns. I find they lose my attention fast.
Because I waited until after release date to read it, I was actually able to listen to it on audio. With the different narrators, the book held my attention and the ending was not what i expected at all!

I enjoyed this!! I found the beginning and middle a little long and kept wondering where the story was going. Then the ending!!! The ending was so good. I didn't see it coming at all. So satisfying! I think I found this long because I just didn't love any of the characters.

I love wilderness thrillers so this was right up my alley. Set in Yosemite, there is so much going on and a whole host of characters that were exciting to get to know.

Cassie is running away from a life in New York, joining a search and rescue team.

So many secrets, so many twists and turns that kept me guessing. It was incredibly fast-paced and I couldn't wait to see what happened next.

For some reason, I thought this would be really suspenseful and maybe more so along the lines of Gone Girl. But this was kind of a snoozefest. Nothing happens for the majority of the book and it leaves you with too much time on your hands to figure out the twists. I like some of this author's other books but yeah, this one was a let down.

Cassie Peters has left her life back in New York and has returned to her hometown of Mammoth Lakes California. Cassie is resilient and on the run. To put distance behind her past, she resumes working at her old job of Yosemite search and rescue. A decade prior she worked at the same park, where a case still haunts her. Throughout the book you learn a little about this case and the truth about what happened.

This book also has the perspectives of both Petal and Jada with their own experiences of the park. Petal's perspective is documented through journal entries while Jada's is documented through instagram posts. Each of these three women cross paths seemingly due to Cassie's job. The further into the book you will learn more about each woman and the secrets they have in common.

I would recommend this for anyone looking for a fun thriller.

Have You Seen Her is the story of MC Cassie who escapes an abusive relationship in New York, only to find herself in the mountains of Yosemite National Park, close to her hometown. Cassie finds a job as a Search and Rescue worker in the Park, where she previously worked a decade ago, and reconnects with old friends. Although Cassie is escaping her abusive husband, she must still confront demons of her past in Yosemite, especially when strange disappearances arise in the Park.

I was hooked to this story from the very first chapter! I enjoyed the setting of the book in the mountains, and liked the female main character and her supporting male character. However, I was not a great fan of the dual timelines in this books, especially because the dual timelines were actually really only days apart, and it was sometimes difficult to tell if we were in the "Then" or "Now". Although this book is considered a thriller, I personally consider it more of a mystery - it was a page-turner, but not the "gives you goosebumps" kind.

Have You Seen Her released on June 27, 2023 and is now available in bookstores and online.

I'm speechless! From the second I picked up this book, I couldn't put it down. The way the author weaved the timelines throughout the story was perfect. It was a fast-paced thriller with a reveal that I never saw coming! Five huge stars!!

Enjoyed the storyline and the setting. Characters were likeable. Enjoyed the novel until the ending - thought it was a bit too far fetched. Could have been so much better. with a better twist/reasoning for the girls going "missing." Just didn't find the luring aspect of the ex husband to be believable.

I honestly don’t even know why, but this took me forever to finish. I loved Please Join Us so I was expecting to love this one too. And while I liked it, it just wasn’t quite there for me. It read slow and I’m well aware that was intentional… I liked the different narratives and switching between timelines that all came together in the end. It was a solid narrative device and paid off. I’d read more books by her. This one just wasn’t for me.

I was really excited about this one but sadly, I ended up being a bit disappointed. The first three quarters of the book was very dull for me. It moved super slowly and went into extreme detail about the life of a person on a search and rescue team.

I will say that the last chunk of the book was amazing. There was a big twist that I didn’t see coming at all. A new villain was introduced and I loved their vibes. It was all very unsettling and clever.

Unfortunately, the cool ending didn’t make up for the rest of the reading experience. I wish that there was much less of a focus on the search and rescue piece of it and a much bigger focus on the abusive husband.

Not my favourite thriller, but would recommend you still give it a try if you enjoy the genre. I could see a lot of people loving this one!

I read just about anything this author writes, but this was a favourite of mine! Love the twists so much - didn’t see them coming and I found them believable. I loved the outdoors, rescue type jobs because you don’t see that often. Overall, just didn’t want to put it down.
