Where the Crane Lands by Vincent J DeVito is a beautiful book. A brilliant and wise method for influencing children's thinking is to use a story filled with magic, comedy, and adventure to express issues about the preservation of flora and animals. The writing of DeVito shines, showcasing refined abilities in character and situation developments that ensure children's attention while also offering motivating messages for every reader. Enough resolution is ultimately given, but some is left open for the subsequent book. I enthusiastically recommended this book.

The idea of this sounded so great I had to request it. As I started reading I realized this book was not for me. The writing and the characters just weren't keeping me engaged. So sorry I couldn't finish this let alone get into it.
