I didn’t have trouble starting this book. It was an easy read. Simple language. A sweet love story. A mysterious past. It just left a lot to be desired. It’s extremely hard to write sci-fi/fantasy books in 200ish pages. That doesn’t leave enough space to do world building or even tell a thorough story. The plot is interesting enough and the mystery of their past drags people in. However, it just needs MORE. I don’t know how else to put that. Just more. I truly plan on reading the second book; I just hope that overall it gets thought out more.

I was provided this book as an ARC with the expectation of providing an unbiased review, which is what I’m doing here voluntarily.

Legacy of a Princess is about a princess who longs for love after marrying a prince and realizing the royalty life is not for her. She finds her love with a man named Jones who worships the ground Dyanna walks on.

This book was very slow and hard to get into. Information was compacted and other parts of the story were drawn out.

I found a lot of correlations between Princess Diana, the Royal Family and the drama with Meghan Markle and the firm. Overall-the characters were likeable, story (although not unique) was good. Would I recommend this book to my followers-No!

I was so excited to dive into this story, I loved the cover and the synopsis sounded interesting but I am so disappointed by the actual book.
This book was so boring nothing ever happened it was so slow. I really tried to read more but it didn’t picked up the pace even a little bit and I couldn’t imagine it ever would…

Thank you to @netgalley for providing me an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I really enjoy the back story and lore of this book, but it felt like it dragged on about things a lot. I wasn’t really sure what was what sometimes and I got really confused at all the new info being presented.

Learning about the world/what’s going on/back story I totally get and I enjoyed it but it was just cramped. I feel like it could’ve gotten across in a more stretched out way instead of info bombing. I can’t remember anything about what this persons planet was or what happened to certain people.

A bit disappointing as I felt like I could’ve been invested and enjoy but I just couldn’t latch onto one thing before something else I had to figure out came along.

This book is about a princess who married a prince and was set to be queen. Realizing that the life of royalty wasn’t all it cracked up to be, she starts regretting all her decisions and find herself stuck. Until a man comes along and changes her life forever and sets a spiraling affect of events which eventually leads her to faking her death in order to survive. She lives in peace for a very long time until her old life suddenly starts catching up to her and she’ll have to decide whether her secrets are more important or is protecting her family’s, the new and the old.

I was really interested in this book, it took me awhile to get into because I found it rather slow in the beginning but over all I loved the story and will definitely be reading the next book. I absolutely adored the way Jones treated Myra. It was so sweet. ( I also liked that one of the little girls names was Libby because I love seeing my name in books.) If I had to say anything negative about the book it would probably be that it felt a little rushed toward the end, but over all it was a good book.

( I’ll be posting this on tiktok for my monthly reviews on the last day of April 4-30-23,I was going to review on Goodreads but I can’t seems to find it )

An interesting beginning of the story, which begins when the two heroes are already older and when you think that nothing more can happen to them. Wrong.
What surprised me the most was that I suddenly saw the real royal family in the story, if Princess D had survived. Almost all the names had a familiar sound.
The circumstances of the events in the story made sense and I suddenly began to wonder what if the story had really unfolded like this.
But be warned, this is only the first book of this story and continues in the second book,

I really enjoyed this book. The description of the plot pulled me in so much I finished this book in a night. The start of the book did not start how I thought it was going to. It was very refreshing to have J save M from a loveless and controlling family. I feel like when M was saved It hurt her to hide who she was. Burying something like that takes a toll on someone but M did a very good job of carrying the burden. I know it got Super hard for M when her granddaughter got sick and that point in the book really helped me connect with M a lot more. I appreciated the bravery of M and how she goes to lengths to help her granddaughter out. It was sad to see her world fall apart after she loses J but the way it changes her and how she grows from it was amazing. I recommend this book to anyone who loves romance, bravery and secrets that changes lives.

The fact that J saves her from a loveless controlling family and marriage is brave, but then M has to hide who she truly is from her daughter, which tears her apart. Then when she learns that her granddaughter from her firstborn son is ill, she takes a risk by suggesting to her daughter to see if she can help. And when M finds out that after her daughter K helps her daughter-in-law P they are still in contact she starts to worry as her new world starts to fall to pieces around her after she loses J. I recommend this book to everyone who loves books filled with romance, redemption, secrets, and bravery. I loved it from page one she grabs your attention from the beginning and keeps it through the whole book.

I really was intrigued by the story and plot of this book. The description immediately pulled me in. I couldn't wait to start reading it. I dove right in as soon as I could. Unfortunately, I struggled to immerse myself into the book. While I know that the beginning of a book can have a lot of new information, names, worlds, etc. in it to set the scene (especially for a fantacy world), this story presented so much in such a way that I struggled to keep track of what was going on. Surprisingly, it wasn't the flash backs between timelines that I struggled to follow.
