I found Letting Glow: A Guide to Intuition, Spirituality, and Living Consciously by Phill Webster to be a splendid book. It combines practical meditations to develop intuitive abilities with the author's personal life story and experiences. Webster's genial and eloquent prose made it an easy.

I loved this book. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me review it. An easy read and soft introduction to spirituality, and just what I needed after a recent personal loss. I found it comforting and inspiring, and Webster helped to expand my awareness with new ideas around raising thoughts to their highest levels. The meditation exercises build as his personal story unfolds. I love the idea of consciousness being beyond our thoughts, and something that we can utilise to manifest our best life and heal. His personal convictions and explanations of life after death offer comfort. Read Websters journey with a cup of hot chocolate and cookies, and practice the meditations when you need a positive start to the day.

The author weaves his own narrative around an investigation into life after death and spirituality. It’s filled with meditations that progress from a basic starting point early on in the book, to more elaborate ones that take you into a deeper state of consciousness. For the seasoned spiritual seeker, there’s probably nothing here that you don’t already know. That being said, the authors personal journey from skeptic to medium is an interesting one. Anyone who is grieving a loss and/or seeking answers to some of life’s deeper questions would do well to start here. I’m interested to see where this author takes the second book of what he promises will be a series.

This one was just "meh" to me. I couldn't really follow it, and it wasn't something I would normally choose to read. I finished it because it was short.

Letting Glow by Phill Webster is a personal account of the author's journey into mediumship and connecting with his higher self after experiencing the loss of his mother during the COVID-19 pandemic. The book aims to offer solace and hope by exploring the idea of intuition and how it can transform our lives.

Webster, a writer, actor, and spiritual teacher, shares his experiences and insights on how we experience time, consciousness, and our relationship with our higher self. He offers simple changes in thinking and meditation exercises to help readers shift their perspectives on everyday reality and transform their lives into ones of intent, purpose, and a deeper connection.

One of the book's strengths is the well-thought-out guided meditation exercises, which are designed to help readers connect with their intuition. However, as the guided meditations are in written form, it can be difficult to fully immerse yourself in the experience, so you'd have to record the exercises on your phone to listen back to fully follow the guidance.

The book is primarily a personal account of the author's journey. The focus is more on exploring the mystical experiences and the author's personal journey, and as such, there is little advice and/or practical advice (outside of the meditations) for readers to work on their own practice.

That said, Letting Glow is an insightful read for those interested in exploring intuition and spirituality.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book but the GLOW intrigued me. Thanks to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC for the purpose of this review. I'm giving the book three stars. It was a lot more of a deep healing story vs. a glow up! Webster writes well but at times the subject matter just wasn't doing it for me.
