This is by far the most beautiful collection of poetry I have ever found. Its profound, its beautiful and the person who has written these poems has to have a beautiful soul. Going on a lone bike ride does make you think about a lot of things. The poems are just that, running the risk of repeating myself, the book is absolutely beautiful.. The pictures are also very beautiful. Love, love this book!!!!

I got a free copy of the book and is voluntarily writing a review

2.5 out of 5 stars.

Unfortunately, this was a case of a poetry collection just not being my taste. I thought the art and photographs present in this collection were beautiful and they definitely added to the poems, but I only like a handful of the poems themselves. I did like the writing style of this author but some of the phrases just didn't make sense to me and that probably is just my brain being weird, but it did make the reading experience confusing at times.

Disclaimer: I received an arc digital copy of this from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

What drew me into reading this small collection was the fact that it was small and wouldn't be overwhelming to read all at once,
While I didn't connect with the poems and a huge level they were still well written and lovely to read

I pick books that I really want to read and I guess that is reason enough to the author. Does it matter if the book does not touch us? My family is from Scotland and I have travelled the Highlands. I Iove the purple and greens in this book- the heather and the mountains. I also loved the title, so I thought it might have been more personal to me. But I did not connect with the poetry. I thank the publisher and NetGalley for the advance read.
