Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and Forever Books for the gifted e-book ❤️ #gifted. My review is comprised of my honest thoughts.
Read if you like: Dual POV, heists, found family, steamy 🔥
This was amazing. It's probably my favorite one in the series. It was hilarious, sweet, and sexy. The banter and chemistry between them was great. The plot was fun and different. I love the heist aspect and the hedgehog the most. 🤣 I highly recommend this!

I loved this book! The Winchesters are back with their hijinx and I’m here for it. They are all ridiculous and lovely, and I want more of them.
While I enjoyed book 3, it lost some of the ridiculousness (homing hedgehogs didn’t make an appearance) and the couple was apart for a lot of the book, but that was fixed in this one. The couple was together for pretty much the whole book and their banter was too notch.
I do think there was a bit of a pacing issue in the middle, some of the plot dragged a bit longer than needed, but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment.

My Rogue to Ruin
I had a really good time with My Rogue To Ruin. This was my first book by Erica Ridley and I could easily see myself coming back to the world of the Wynchesters to see the rest of the siblings’ stories fleshed out! I found Marjorie and Adrian to be likable characters that were very easy to root for. I especially enjoyed the diversity in this world, which is often lacking in historical romances. I really enjoyed that Marjorie was hard of hearing and how that impacted her role within the family and the family schemes.
For the most part, I enjoyed this and Ridley’s writing. I just had a few issues overall:
- I thought the pacing was a little off. There are multiple climax fakeouts where you think that the story is wrapping up just for something else to happen. That was fun and interesting the first time, but after the third, it got old.
- I think the characters were a little *too* motivational with each other? I loved how supportive they were, but their constant pep talks took me out of the story quite a bit.
I am always a fan of a working hedgehog though so…count me in to the next one!

"My Rogue to Ruin" by Erica Ridley – no spoilers ahead!
This historical romance takes you on a delightful journey through the Regency era, and Ridley's storytelling prowess shines through.
Characters? Charming. Our rogue and the leading lady had a dynamic that kept me turning the pages. The witty banter and undeniable chemistry were the heart of the story.
Plot? It's a classic tale with a twist. Ridley weaves a compelling narrative that balances romance, intrigue, and a hint of mischief. The plot unfolds at a pace that keeps you engaged without feeling rushed.
Writing style? Impeccable. Ridley's prose effortlessly transports you to the glittering ballrooms and shadowy corners of Regency London. The attention to historical detail adds a layer of authenticity that enhances the overall experience.
Humor? It is a definite highlight. Some moments had me chuckling, and Ridley injects just the right amount of humour to lighten the story without detracting from its emotional depth.
Ending? Satisfying. Without giving too much away, the resolution felt earned, and our characters' journey felt complete.

Because every bookworm needs to experience the beautiful chaos within this story. This book was full of originality, and it worked beautifully in its time period. I loved the dynamics that were present between Marjorie and her siblings, and with Adrian. The unique nature of each character was so refreshing to see, and I especially loved seeing disability rep in a time period that you don’t often see it.
I simply adored Marjorie and how beautifully crafted her character was. Her personality was so authentic, and you got to fully appreciate and admire the journey she took throughout the novel. There was a certain sense of humour that was so refreshing to see, and a complexity to her as a person that made you want to dig deeper. In her struggle to feel truly valued by her family, she also found herself being able to learn that not everything was as it seemed on the surface.
If you’re looking for a book with found family, empowering disability representation, and a ton of witty banter, “My Rogue to Ruin” is one you need to pick up ASAP! Thank you NetGalley for this captivating story.

There were parts that I couldn't read fast enough to learn what would happen next, and parts that were so mind numbing and cliché that I skimmed more than read. Overall, this story fell flat for me.

I love the Wild Wynchesters. Each book is wilder than the last, and each book makes me wish I had a family as endearing and loyal as they are. They are truly a magnificent bunch and I love how each sibling has the others’ backs, no matter the situation.
MY ROGUE TO RUIN is Marjorie’s story and it starts off with a bang. Literally. She’s teaching her students how to paint and one of the Wynchesters creates a diversion in order for…reasons, and it’s during this diversion that she runs into handsome rogue Adrian Webb. Adrian and Marjorie are brought together once again when counterfeit coins are discovered, and romance and danger in spades develops from there.
I loved this book so much. Erica Ridley always writes such amazing characters with depth and insecurities, making them feel so real. Marjorie is a curvy woman, and is insecure because she doesn’t fit the mold of what a Regency-era lady should look like. That insecurity plays a big role in her relationship with Adrian, who has some insecurities of his own. It was interesting seeing them both work through their inner struggles and finally come together. They still have their self-doubts, but each one gives the other strength and shows them they’re worthy of love.
All told, another fantastic installment in this series. I adored Marjorie’s story and I can’t wait for the next book and the next sibling to find love.

Another great book in the Wynchester series. I loved that this book was Marjorie's to shine. She's always been in the shadows, but only her skills were able to help in this mission. I loved seeing her as a strong character and standing up to some of the men in the book. It was also nice seeing her chemistry with Adrian and how they worked together and apart.

Fairly predictable rom com but it was still a good read that I enjoyed it. It was also a quick read.

As a long time reader of Ridley, this novel was pretty standard for her. You can expect low risk medium reward as the stories and characters are entertaining without torturing the reader through unnecessary drama. While the novel is never overly complex, they do have subtle layers that add to it's enjoyment. While part of series, it can be enjoyed as a standalone though it does bring addition enjoyment.

This book is the fourth in the series, but you can definitely read as a standalone (like I did). I liked the disability rep in this book! Marjorie is partly deaf due to small pox, an artist and an expert at forgery, which I thought was super cool. Adrian and Marjorie are easy to root for, neither annoyed me but this was mostly because I didn't find either character particularly complex or deep. Adrian was a secret cinnamon roll who prefers to use his rogue-ish reputation to keep people at a distance. It was so sweet that he secretly yearned for love and a family. The book has tons of humour, drama and action to make it entertaining. Snowley was a great villain, too! Even though there is plenty of action in the book, it didn't feel super intense. Instead, it read as a pretty lighthearted romance with low steam.
Things I Loved:
- Historical romance
- Disability rep
- Dual, third person POV
- Reformed rake/secret cinnamon roll
- Enemies (ish) to lovers
- Slow burn
- Forced proximity
- Guaranteed HEA

I didn't realize this was a series when I requested the book but after reading this I want to go back and read the other books! I really enjoyed the characters and representation in My Rouge to Ruin. I also liked the humour and drama. I would recommend this book series to my friends who enjoy reading romance.
Thanks NetGalley and Forever for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Love those Wild Wynchesters! This is Book 4 of the series and is as daring and fun as the previous ones. Lord Adrian Webb comes back to London after being banished by his father years ago for his rakish behavior. He's back to meet his little sister, but just may find himself in some trouble courtesy of his unconventional source of income. The Wynchesters are a tight-knit family known to help people in their time of need, and they do so by following their own rules. Marjorie is the youngest sister of the family, and this is her time to shine. When a woman comes to them needing help in a case of counterfeit pennies, Marjorie takes the lead on the case. Her crime solving leads her to Adrian, and she just can't seem to figure him out. While he is a criminal and a scoundrel, he is also a passionate and kind-hearted man, and while she is determined to take him down and find justice, she finds it increasingly difficult to resist his charms.
I really enjoyed seeing Marjorie and Adrian together and their witty and cheeky banter was so much fun to read. This is a sexy, regency romp that is filled with drama, romance, and adventure. Yet another enticing and fun addition to the series!
I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Ok, so I don’t read these for any kind of mental edification. I read them knowing they’ll be fluffy and require little brain power, and that’s exactly why I read them. Sometimes I need a break from the heavy and Ridley’s books usually fit the bill. Always need to be careful about some of the scenes, but if you’re aware it’s fine.
Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I love a heist romance, but this one didn't quite work for me. I think part of my issue with this one, and this is completely my fault, is that I have not read any of the previous books in this series. This was a kind of wild place to start, and unfortunately, I found the Wynchesters just a bit grating and over the top.
So I think if you have read and loved the previous books in this series, you will likely love this one as well. But if you're just starting out with the series, I don't think this is a great entry point.

Oh, how I love the Wynchester family and their vigilante ways! It is always so fun to revisit this found family, and book 4 was no exception. Marjorie was something of an enigma in the previous books, so I was glad that she finally got her time to shine! As her family undertakes its newest mission - taking down a forger, she steps into the leading role. As she works to infiltrate the forger's headquarters, she finds herself in close proximity to Adrian, a man who has gotten himself into a bit of a sticky situation with the head of the criminal organization. Like all the books in this series, My Rogue to Ruin is a great blend of romance, humor, and adventure.

Ooh, I need to go find the rest of this series! This was the first book in the series I've read, and I absolutely want to read the rest.
I loved the interplay between the characters, the way that both Adrian and Marjorie push each other to be more than what they individually think of themselves. I also enjoyed the glimpses of the lives of the other Wynchester family members, and can't wait to read those stories for myself.
Many thanks to #NetGalley for a review copy of this book.

Back to the Wynchesters! This time we get virtual shut-in Marjorie's story. The story gets off to a fast, fun start and ends with a rollicking time. My only problem with this is the middle of the story where Marjorie and Adrian...talk. A lot. About the same thing over and over again. I was about to give up when it sped up again, so as long as you can stick it out through the middle, know that the Wynchesters are at it again!

Very entertaining! It’s part of a series (I didn’t know this going in) but feels like a standalone. I love that the heroine is partially deaf. I love seeing representation. There is humor, drama, and action and overall I really liked it.

This was my first foray into the wonderfully weird Wynchester family antics. I have to say, I adore this family and look forward to reading the previous books in this series. The siblings are truly characters all their own. They all differ so much, yet they compliment each other so well.
In this particular book, we meet Marjorie Wynchester. A brilliant artist who also happens to be a top notch forger. A new client comes to the Wynchester’s with a case. She’s frantic she’ll be evicted from her house because she accidentally paid with forged money. Marjorie is furious. How dare someone use art to hurt someone else?! She is determined to find the forger herself and make them pay.
Enter Adrian Webb. A rake extraordinaire who gets caught in a web of his own making. His forgeries are brilliant. Too bad he swindled the wrong man and is now being blackmailed to perform high treason.
When the two meet sparks fly and soon Marjorie realizes that Adrian is not the scoundrel she thought him to be. So with the help of her talented siblings, Marjorie and Adrian take on the true nefarious criminal and learn to love each other in the process.
Overall, I would give this story a 3.5. It was well written, humorous, and the characters are wonderful.
Special thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for releasing this arc to me in exchange for an honest review.
