**Listened to the audio book**

Always looking for self-help books and non-fiction books on the topic of resilience.
I was left really disappointed with this book.
It's sold as self help - but its more of a memoir with a bit of self-help thrown in.

I wasn't really interested in James Elliott's personal story, and wanted help and ideas on the topic of resilience. This book DOESN'T do what it says on the tin.

The only plus side of this book was that the narrator of the audio book was the books author - which is always a good shout in my opinion.

I just finished listening to "Think Yourself Resilient" by James Elliot on audiobook and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. The author's insights on building mental toughness and overcoming adversity were spot on and really resonated with me. The autobiographical elements make it clear that the author has overcome some life changing incidents more than qualifying him as an expert in Resilience. The narrator's voice was clear and engaging, making it easy to stay focused and absorb the information. I recommend this audiobook to anyone looking to improve their resilience and mindset.

Think yourself resilient - James Elliot

This audiobook was written through the authors personal and professional experiences, and therefore is such an easy listen, I really enjoyed the narration for this reason as I felt you could really connect to them. I personally found the latter part of the book the most helpful to me - when we start to get into the Five Pillars of Mental Resilience, there was chapter on each to help us excel in our own mental resilience and overcome or change what has been previously been blocking us.
