I was so excited to read The Changing Man, but the writing style wasn't for me. The beginning read very choppy and was so slowly paced — even with big events happening — that I struggled to stay interested. Usually YA thrillers pull me right in, but this one was a miss. Hopefully other readers will enjoy it more than I did.
