I absolutely loved this! I am so sad it is over. This is my fiction pick of the year. The audio was also outstanding. I very much appreciated how this book spanned across multiple years and wasn't drawn out into a trilogy.

my only complaint was the one-hit pregnancy. One-night-stand pregnancies are incredibly rare, even more so when the parents are malnourished and under years of intense stress. I am fine with them having a baby, but let's not make it a one-nighter. This is a slap to all women who struggle to get pregnant.

Absolutely loved this story! The concept was easy to follow and the characters were so engaging. The plot never lags because the writer will time jump and drop you right in the action.

I listened to the audio book and enjoyed it so much I will buy the book to add to my library. The voice acting was great!

Loved it!

This book takes you as the reader through so many journeys and stories that makes you think and reflect on what you would do if this were to happen. It is a thoughtful yet fun time reading this story and it is clear how much love and thought that the writer, Ann Christy, put into this story, Christy wrote the characters in a way that makes you really feel for them and get attached, though still making sure there is a good well developed plot. The ending of this book I love entirely and personally find it to be a satisfying end with still having enough of an open ending that the reader can imagine what they will with what happens after they finish the book.

Wow. I don’t even know where to start. This book took me on a journey that was somewhat confusing at times because of the science stuff but was also filled with such heartfelt moments that made me want to cry. Imagining a world that’s gone upside down with people who deal with it/interpret it differently and then learn to come together and accept each other and love each other makes me wish we could do better in our own world. Coco is a stubborn fiery resilient character and I enjoyed seeing this post apocalyptic world through her eyes. I also really enjoyed getting to read from Forrest’s perspective. If you enjoy post apocalyptic sci-fi, check out this book. It’s got a lot of heart and I’m going to think about the ending for a long time. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

This book reminded me of Murakamis Never Let Me Go and The Burried Giant.

It took me longer to read than most books, but the reason for this is that it is soooo good and heartbreaking that I could only read it in small doses without crying.

Coco is 12 years old when some sort of event happens and everyone else around her starts looping - repeating the same action over and over. After many years trying to survive alone she finds out there are other “unlooped” people in the world. Cocos goes on to live a normal life until she has to confront the decision if she wants to erase the life she knows after the incident or erase everything that happened before.

This book is sooo good! It makes you think about what your priorities in life are, how you spend your time, and what you would be willing to give up for those who you love.

I got this book as an ARC but I’ll be getting a copy for my friends once it’s published. This was the book I read so far this year.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital copy is exchange for my honest review.

I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting into. I am not a blurb reader—I am more of a cover reader/blurb skimmer. The majority of my reads are picked off the cover: visually appealing (this one is not one that usually calls to me), title (that was what made me take a deeper look at this book), and if there are any yuck bylines on the cover those usually get me). If one of those appeals I skim the blurb or read the first line or 2. I had a goal to read/listen to more sci-fi books as it isn’t one of my normal genres, yet every time I’ve read it I have enjoyed it immensely. The Never-Ending End of the World has completely changed my mind on if sci-fi is one of my normal genres—I stayed awake listening well into the early morning hours, took a few hours nap and woke up to immediately finish.

I loved this book—I was lost in the prologue and not quite sure if I would be able to get into it, but as soon as the main story kicked in I was hooked. Once I was at 40-50% I was checking for more published works by Ann Christy—and on to my kindle they went.

I am impressed and excited to read more—Ann Christy has made sci-if feel approachable and with The Never-Ending End of the World has joined my instant buy author list.

Narration was done really well…as this book spans different time periods of the characters lives over many decades—both narrators were able to catch the tone and personality shifts that occurred throughout.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing this audiobook for an honest review. This book was sci fi of what could happen if we don't pay attention to the experiments completed out in the world. It took an interesting take on some people being stuck in the moment time "froze" and some people survived and did freeze. I enjoyed showing the perspectives from different people along the way and how they all either came together or fell apart. Even when you have very little humans always seem to show their true colors as time goes on.

Although this is well written in the sense that it was easy to read and the narrator was very good. However, this book doesn't know what it wants to be. First, it's post apocalyptic. This part was compelling and very interesting. However, it was too fast. Because of the author's decision to turn this into something else, we skip past a lot of the stuff that Coco went through. Then it becomes post-apocalyptic with some magical realism. Then the magical realism becomes a kind of magic. Then science takes over to explain the end. Ultimately I liked it. However, I think it would have been been if the children never had magical powers. That part could have been left out and it could have been science throughout. I also think that it could've started where it ended and we could followed Coco's path by finding all the notes and pictures she left behind.

Wow...ok..... This was quite a story. I really liked the concept and thought that the character development throughout was wonderful. You are really able to connect with the characters and CoCo really grew on me. That being said, honestly, this book just wasn't for me. While I liked the idea behind the story I just couldn't get all the way in. The only reason I kept reading is because I wanted to know how it ended. Not because I was enjoying the book. I just couldn't wrap my head around most of it. Not the author's fault. This just isn't my normal genre. I don't seem to have the imagination for this subject matter.
However, if you are into SciFi and time loops then I do believe this is the book for you.
It was a nice change of "scenery" and I appreciated the new post-apocalyptic theme. Something different from zombies and radiation.
I bumped my star rating up to a 3 because I don't feel it would be fair to the author to rate it any lower knowing that I went into this halfheartedly based on the premise of the book.
Overall, a great story for SciFi fans with a good imagination and open mind.

This is how a post-apocalyptic story should be written!

The Never-Ending End of the World is a character-driven novel about an event that sends most of the world into endless time loops, long and short, leaving those who aren't looping to cope and survive the treacherous landscape left for them.

I especially appreciate that there were no religious nuts trying to explain away the phenomenon, and there were no troops of men raping and pillaging just because there was no one to enforce civility. Instead this is a story of people coming together when times get tough, expanding their humanity in a world that is determined to steal it from them, one loop at a time.

Does all the science add up? Probably not, but that's okay. The world-building is incredible, and the inexplicable was explained as well as it could be.

This sci-fi nerd didn't want this novel to end, and that's always the true test of a great novel.

This was a very unique post-apocalyptic science fiction novel.

The story was well written and kept my interest. The great writing helped me to enjoy the story even though I felt the rules in this post-apocalyptic world were arbitrary and confusing!

Some story elements were never completely explained though I appreciated that the epilogue gave some nice closure.

I got the audiobook and the ebook and listened during the day and read at night. The audiobook was nicely narrated.

The Never Ending End Of The World
* Dystopian Sci-fi
* Apocalyptic
* Unique
* Action/suspense
This book seemed very well thought out and shows in the fantastic world building and character building. It had alot more suspense and action than I was anticipating which was great! I loved all of the characters and the post apocalyptic (time loop) world was unique. I also enjoyed the “diary style” chapters a lot!

I had the audiobook version of the ARC and both of the narrators did great!
I will attempt to post a review to Amazon, Goodreads, and audible
Thanks Net galley!

This book was an interesting new take on the dystopian genre. While it is a long book, I found myself wishing there were even more, and excited every time I could come back to the story. I am hoping for a second book to continue where the epilogue left off.
Thank you to net galley for the ARC in return for my honest review.

The Last of Us meets the Marvel Blip? Amazing. I never knew a book that encompassed so many years could remain so intimate. I cared deeply for each character, the pacing was quick enough that I never felt a lag, and the explanations were provided through the character's eyes/interactions rather than exposition. I clung to every word and will be recommending this book to all my friends.

Wow! Can I just say—mind blown! I’m a big fan of time travel/ time loop trope books and I honestly can say this was an excellent example of that style of book. The characters were genuinely interesting and it was refreshing to see how their reality affected their choices and in the end ultimate decision making. Well worth diving into and decide if you are a chosen one or are you a seeker of the reasons for what caused majority of mankind to phase out of time??

The Never-Ending End of the World will appeal to dystopian and Sci-Fi lovers--it's an original and intriguing novel. It will keep you on your toes as you travel the perilous post-apocalyptic world. An incredible story of hope and survival, you will enjoy watching Coco Wells grow from a scared 12-year-old into a resourceful and brave woman.

Highly recommend!

I will post a review on goodreads as well.
I did enjoy your book. I did feel like some parts went over my head and even though you tried to simplify it it was still a struggle for me. Again though that’s a me issue not anything to do with your writing.
Really it was a very refreshing dystopian- haven’t read anything like it before.

I enjoyed this book. The concept was good and unique. The characters were like a bowl, and the storyline was easy to follow. I just wish there was a follow up or sequel book because I really want to know what happened now that the loops are broken and everybody is waking up.

I received a complimentary audiobook of THE NEVER-ENDING END OF THE WORLD by Ann Christy thanks to Campfire and Netgalley.

THE NEVER-ENDING END OF THE WORLD begins with Coco, a young woman living in a very unusual world. When Coco was twelve, something happened to time and most everyone around her continues on cycling through the same time loop again and again. Some of these are short, some are long, but at the end of the loop they and everything they interact with reset.

This is a lonely and a dangerous world. To disrupt someone’s loop turns them violent until they disappear form the world. It isn’t until years later that Coco discovers someone like her, someone who is unlooped. This gives her hope that there are more out there to find and more to life than navigating around the loops of others.

I picked up this book because the premise caught my eye at a time when I was trying to gather all the different scifi books and I am very glad I picked this one up. We start by following Coco who I really enjoyed as a character and as more characters come into play, we also get a male narrator which is a nice touch to the audio.

The author has created a very interesting take on a post-apocalyptic world and I really was fascinated by the idea of these time loops and how things were impacted (or not). I really liked the expanding world that we get as Coco explores more and interacts with the unlooped people who have gathered in the aftermath. I really appreciated that this isn’t a strict case of the good guys against the bad guys as different factions develop. Rather, they are groups with different takes on all that is happening who must find ways to work together. Things shift as the book and the plot go on, but I thought it felt very natural.

This was a really fun read and I enjoyed the audio a lot! THE NEVER-ENDING END OF THE WORLD will be out on August 8!

Obsessed! One of the best books I've read! I love each and every character and the storyline was laid out to perfection. If you read Swan Song by Robert McCammon, you will enjoy reading every word of this book.
