If you enjoy historical fiction and the macabre this read is for you. I am surprised there are not more reviews on this book because the story and prose is well done. This subject matter is taboo and I found it quite intriguing. The characters are likeable, given the job they are doing. I enjoyed the time period of the early 1800s, and how "the resurrectionist" brought about advancement in the sciences despite the horrific job they were doing.

Wow. Just wow. This story took me on a journey I didn't expect to go on. I was pleased to say the least Thank you so much for the e arc.
