Last bride standing by Ginny Baird

Charlotte and Aidan are now intending to have a marriage of convenience as an agreement made between the two families as Aidans family defraud Charlottes family having take recipes from the business they had together and went into business himself using them. As all her other sisters have married she is the candidate. Aidan has no intention of marrying Charlotte but will give the family have his family’s business but Charlotte.

This is the last in the series and wasn’t as entertaining as the others and I felt it was a disappointment. 3/5

Thank you to Netgally, the publishers, and Ginny Baird

When I requested this book I was unaware that it was apart of a series, one that requires you to read the previous books for this one to make sense. I am unable to read all the previous books along with this one before the publish date. Therefore, I will rate this a fair 3/5 stars and will adjust the rating and review when I am able to read all the books in the series along with this one.

Fun quick read great for a palate cleanser. The characters are well written and I loved the setting by the sea.

A sweet story with a sweet setting. It's low conflict/low drama, and an easy escape read.

I received an advance copy. All thoughts are my own.

The books are clean, wholesome, contemporary romances and should be read in order. Kudos to the lovely covers for the whole series. They will definitely attract readers. I wish the books made more sense to the logical side of my brain but it is nice escapism reading.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Charlotte and Aidan. They have known each other for all their lives. Aidan comes back home to give Charlotte’s family half of his family’s business. Charlotte says she wants all of the business, so she makes a bet with Aidan. They both have issues up together they they work them out and fall in love.

"Last Bride Standing" by Ginny Baird is a charming and lighthearted romance that offers a delightful twist on the traditional marriage competition. Baird's storytelling is full of wit and humor, with endearing characters who are swept up in the chaos of a small-town contest. As the sparks fly, readers are treated to a fun and heartwarming tale of love and rivalry. This book is a perfect feel-good read that captures the essence of second chances and true love.

Charlotte Delaney, the only sister yet to find love, faces a unique challenge: marry Aidan Strong, now a successful 30-year-old running Bearberry Coffee, in a five-year, in-name-only arrangement. In return, she'd get half of Bearberry Coffee, a significant aid for the Delaneys' local café, Bearberry Brews. However, Charlotte aspires for more than just half, leading to a fresh rivalry. When Aidan returns to Majestic Maine after two decades, his transformed handsome appearance takes the sisters by surprise. While Aidan and Charlotte's dynamic involves continuous banter and competition, Charlotte's portrayal can come across as slightly mean-spirited.

The book follows a captivating tale of love, betrayal, and redemption. Both characters confront their prejudices and learn to trust. The book delves deep into the characters' introspection, occasionally making the pace slow, but concludes satisfyingly, wrapping up the storylines a decade into the future. Although the book can stand alone, reading the first two offers deeper context. The ending felt rushed, but the book is recommended for its engaging storyline and character development.

Last Bride Standing is the final book in the series and unfortunately my least favorite. All of these books are insta-love type stories but I was looking forward to this one the most because it was the marriage of convenience trope. However, that got squash in the first few minutes and instead was left with just a normal type romance. I thought some of the moments were very swoon worthy but it didnt have the passion I was hoping for. I did love the epilogue and seeing where the characters ended up.

These books are so cute and sweet and the perfect little romances. I knew I'd love it because I loved the 2nd book in this series. I'm always down for Hallmark movie type romance stories and I've loved books by this author.

When Aidan Strong returns to Majestic, Maine, and humiliates Charlotte after she agrees to a marriage of convenience, she proposes a competition that she is certain she can win and get back all that her family lost to Aidan's dishonest father who stole the business from her father years ago.

Aidan is trying to make things right with the Delaney family. He didn't come up with the marriage of convenience scheme and he is not about to follow through with it. But he will give the Delaney's 1/2 partnership but Charlotte wants it all. Charlotte is not about to settle for second best. She is in it to win it. And, if she can take Aidan down a notch or two, even better.

The problem is, the deeper she gets, the more she sees Aidan as a good man. He isn't the horrible person she has been imagining him to be. Is she capable of risking her heart? If she did, would Aidan even want her?

I was given an arc copy of this book and I loved it and willingly offer my honest review.

Charlotte Delaney is the last sister standing and she has agreed to wed Aidan Strong. Only everything is thrown to the wind when Aidan says there will be no marriage. Out of all the sisters, Charlotte is the most stubborn. Charlotte sees this as a slap in the face. Aidan feels he can negotiate a deal to please everyone. Little did he know that Charlotte wants it all. So the competition has been set. What no one knows is that Aidan and Charlotte were close when they were younger. Now that they are adults, those feelings are creeping back in. Can they compete with each other and remain friends or something more? It takes his assistant to set him straight. I loved the ending.

Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for granting me an ARC if this book in return for my honest opinions.

This book is part the third book in the Majestic Maine trilogy. The book can be read alone, but it is better and will make more sense if you read them in the order they were written

I have really enjoyed this series. The bargain made between the three sisters is strange to say the least.

FOUR STARS for book three. Ginny Baird you know why.

Recommend.

I enjoyed all three books, but was really looking for this one to end with the marriage of convenience. It was rather a let down. Wasn't that the whole point? Just can't get over it, Shane in you Ginny Baird for building up our hopes!!!!

5/5 stars. I love the ambiance and character development in the book. This book is the costal cowgirl of books even before it was trendy! When I saw the 3/5-star cover of the book, I thought it would be a bit tacky, but it is one of my all-time favorite books. Even without reading the first two in the trilogy first I still enjoyed the book. Good book for enemies to lovers, small town romance, work romance, family friend romance, marriage of convenience, and it touches on themes like sacrifice, competition, nostalgia, and empathy. Charlotte and Aidan are such a cute couple despite their flaws. AMAZING BOOK!!!!

The third part about sisters who make a bet who has to marry the heir, but then everything goes differently than planned and a competition follows.
Once again, what is special about this small town is evident.

I had a good time.
Have fun reading!

A wager worth winning? Aidan has the odds stacked against him when he takes on Charlotte, she’s determined to win a bet to help her family keep their coffee shop!
The characters are likeable and have plenty of sass, keeping the story alive and engaging in this witty and quirky book!
I love the pace and attraction between the main characters, an enjoyable well written story that will keep you entertained until the last page!

Thanks so much to Entangled Publishing LLC, NetGalley and the author for the opportunity to read this book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Such an absolutely fun romance!

One of my favorite tropes is arranged marriage, and this one definitely fits that idea. Of course, it's the bride herself who arranges things in this story. And a reluctant groom who is the sweetest cinnamon roll in love with the bride.

I love that this book gives the happy ever after, but it's a thoughtful nuanced story to get there. I definitely appreciated that both main characters got growth arcs.

This book would make a great beach read!

I have been provided with a review copy of Last Bride Standing from NetGalley for an impartial review. Oh my gosh this story was just epic. I just couldn’t put this story down and I was just captivated by everything that was taking place. The author truly outdid herself with this story. This story just had my emotions all over the place and I am so sad to see this book end. I just can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.
