The idea was great, a bunch of short stories about the main character’s adventures. However, I found it difficult to go through this book. The writing style would’ve been great had this book been a novel and not short stories. There was a potential that I feel as if it hadn’t been used.

A masterful work of fantasy that combines elements of adventure, mystery, and self-discovery. The protagonist is a complex and relatable character, struggling to make sense of his place in the world after the tragic loss of his father. The wilderness setting is vividly described, immersing the reader in a world of danger and beauty. What really sets this book apart, however, is the underlying message of hope and resilience. Despite the challenges he faces, the young man never loses his will to survive and find meaning in his life.
