Thank you Netgalley and Albatros Media for this arc.

The illustrations are great and I like the idea of using questions to get children involved in the story. But ... a few things bothered me. Letting a cat play with a ball of yarn can be dangerous for the cat if it begins to swallow the string and I would bet some readers would be upset at the image of the cat holding the mouse in its mouth.

That cover won my heart! And the story by Czech poet Radek Maly of a day in the life of a little boy -- contrasted to that of his kitten -- is perfect for the intended audience of children 3-6 years and the adults who love them. Plus, there are questions to answer and a search-and-find exercise that makes this fun and interactive. I especially loved the gorgeous illustrations by Japanese artist Iku Dekun. Highly recommended!

Our Cat's day is a fun interactive child's book.
I love how every page has a task or question to keep the child engaged.

The added search for cats at the end was a nice touch.

I named him Mittens since he looked like a kitten that lost its mitten.

Interactive book with beautiful drawings. Learn about a day in the life of a cat, while reflecting on what you do in a day. Fun read.
