A coming of age book is exactly what the doctor ordered when you need a good lift me up from the usual. After her brothers best friends assaults her, Eden does what many young girls in her position would do, she retreats into herself. She convinces herself she is okay and doesn't need help. If you put on a tough face and pull yourself up by your boot straps you should be fine right? Well what Eden discovers along not only in herself is that sometimes the best way to heal is to discover yourself first.
