I was expecting this book to be a little academic and a bit dry but I couldn’t have been more wrong. It’s highly entertaining with fascinating anecdotes and content based on psychological theories. I’m currently studying for a Masters in Psychology and found a lot of this book extremely useful and relevant to my course. My only slight negative is at times I didn’t felt like the book flowed that easily, it was a little disjointed. But I would certainly recommend it.

This entertaining and readable book provides strategies for overcoming challenges and trauma. Blending research with inspiring survivor stories, it outlines ten pivotal factors like confronting fear, cultivating optimism, and finding role models. The book offers motivation and hope to help conquer life's adversities by tapping into the science and wisdom of resilience.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
