Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for granting me an advance copy of this book in return for my honest opinions.

Danielle Steel is at the top of my must read list! I have read ever single book she has ever written.

Some of her recent works has seemed a bit repetitive and lacked depth. This one was fantastic. It seems like she has put more effort into this one. More like her older work

Love her descriptions and in depth character analysis. I really came to know the characters and was immersed in the setting.

Thank you Danielle. Looking forward to your next release!

As always Ms. Steel delivers. Really enjoyed this book and the characters. Her books have been really good in the last few years..love the plots and characters.

This is the story of the Saverio family and their struggling business (also their struggling family). It is typical Danielle Steel form: "Just the facts, Ma'am". It's always enjoyable reading about the elegant places in Ms Steel's books or, in other words, "how the other half lives" (or maybe the other 5%).

While it's a sweet love story, it's not an over-the-top romance (not a fan of romance novels).

Will submit subsequent reviews after the publishing date.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book!!

I have read every novel Danielle Steel has written so this book felt very familiar. As with so many of her stories, a strong privileged female lead in a glamorous city has some family and business issues, meets a wonderful man and they live happily ever after. After meeting all the characters in the first two chapters, I immediately became immersed in the story and read it in day. It was an easy quick read and I got swept away to Italy.

If you're a fan on Ms. Steel, you'll enjoy this book -- I did !!

4.25 stars out of 5!

Danielle Steel does not disappoint with this book and I really enjoyed getting to know the characters. They were beautifully written and I absolutely adored Cosima. There was such a great connection between her and Oliver and I was so happy with how this book ended. I enjoyed Danielle Steel's writing style in this book, long descriptions of the places (Rome Venice, Paris, etc), it was like I was transported to each location.

Cosima's parents tragically die in an accident leaving Cosima to care for her 2 younger siblings and take over the family business, which sells exclusive leather goods. Allegra, her younger sister, was paralyzed as a result of the accident that took her parents. Luca is her brother that causes nothing but trouble being a playboy. Cosima has been running the family business for years and doing a good job of it. She meets Oliver, who also owns a leather goods brand, at a party at her Palazzo. They really seem to hit it off and she finds a much needed friend. The book continues showing her blossoming relationship with Oliver, as well as her relationships with her siblings.

Overall, this book was one of my favorite books I have read so far this year. It kept me engaged and wanting more. Danielle Steel is an author I usually don't hesitate to pick up, this book is no exception. I would highly recommend!

A big thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Another favorite of this author. Cosima a Olivier were the best characters. When they met, you could feel the connection sizzle. Cosima’s determination was infectious. Her caring nature for her siblings was equal to any parent. She was inspiring. Olivier was the man any woman would want. If you’re a Danielle Steel, and even if you’re not, this book is a must read.

Quite enjoyable hazy Saturday afternoon read. Like a lot of Steel, long on description and short on dialogue, which I don't mind. She has the ability to transport the reader, this time to Rome.

Danielle Steel keeps putting out such amazing work that's truly mind blowing to partake in such splendor!
It's no secret by now. Danielle Steel is my fan favorite of authors because of the way she writes and appears to make everything stand out so effortlessly.
What we have here is a new situation involving Palazzo and the fires that burn from within because truly everything is lit.
Palazzo is more or less a treasure, a Venice hot-spot, and a place where memories are made but also taken away.
Whether we wish to acknowledge the sacrifices that one must expend to partake is such joys is also at stake.
Selling a share isn't all that crucial unless you're talking about a family heirloom or a travesty of injustice and then it becomes the main storyline.
The characters in this one are full of splendor, exuding charisma, and yes, that sweet spot of danger and trepidation around every corner.
What will become of these characters. Who will save Palazzo? Who will walk away and who will walk in faith, love, and beauty for all to behold?
LOVED IT!
Thank you so much to my fav-Danielle Steel, the publisher Random House, and Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

All things Venetian

Switching between Rome, Venice and Paris, this tale depicts the struggles of three siblings to survive in the mad rush of haute couture life.
Cosimo, her brother Luc and sister Allegro inherit the family run Italian business, Saverio leathers making handbags for the elite. Unfortunately their parents were killed and younger sister Allegro injured in an horrific boating accident. Cosimo at once took over the running of the family business. Her driving ambition is to look after her siblings and maintain the stands of her Saverio heritage. A beautiful woman, but it’s her inner beauty that makes her glow.
Luc becomes a high rolling, shallow playboy, wanting nothing to do with the business except to be given money to indulge his life style and gambling habit. His petulance and entitlement attitude says it all.
Allegra, left in a wheelchair after the accident, is absolutely lovely and a talented designer just itching to fly. She faces life head on, enjoying all it can offer her. Her disability doesn’t define her.
Oliver Bayard runs a middle range handbag business out of Paris. He has two sons. Max who is somewhat like Luc, and Basile a street artist of some renown. Oliver’s always admired Saverio handbags. He meets Cosimo at a party given by the rich Texans who’d rented the Savario Palazzo. That will only be the first crossover of others in their lives as the plot develops.
A second chance romance, a crumbling family palazzo in Venice, and the breeze of change blowing through Cosimo’s world of haute couture design bringing disaster and triumph.
A fairly predictable and comfortable read incorporated into an entrancing world of glamour, belying the hard and delicate balance of work and economics, of risk and chance.
A look at family dynamics, love and jealousies, universally experienced and understood.

A Random House-Ballantine ARC via NetGalley.

This was a very short book. I loved it and the characters. I loved Allerga. She didn't let her disability define her. She was very talented. Cosmi had double roles as a mother and a sister. The ending turned out great. I am grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

Perfect book to read when you need a getaway. You can never go wrong with a Danielle Steel book. I adore her writing style and I’ve grown up reading her books. Loved this book. Fashion, Italy, and a dysfunctional family.

Thank you NetGalley for the arc.

A woman is trying her best to make the family firm profitable but there are a few obstacles. One big obstacle is her gambling do-nothing brother bleeding her of money to support him and his gambling debts. Meanwhile, there's a talented sister in a wheelchair that the woman feels she needs to help as well.

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I have been reading her books for years and each one I pick up gets better and better. I enjoy this author's writing skills and her attention to details that make her characters pop. This is a well written story about having everything until life steps in the way once again and you are left with choices that could destroy everything. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world with ease. They are connectable, strong characters that add so much to the story. They have great growth throughout which made the story easy to read and hard to put down. This is a fast paced, engaging story that you don't want to miss. It will pull at your heart strings and leave you wanting more. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I started the first chapter this morning and finished the book in the same day. As usual Danielle Steel did not disappoint. I hadn’t read on of her books in several years and reading this one made me want to read some of the ones I’ve missed. . She writes with such vivid descriptions that I felt like I was in Rome and Venice along with her characters. It’s a story about family and how no matter how hard we love them, sometimes it’s out of our control.
If you haven’t read a Danielle Steel novel, you really should.
I was given an advance reader copy of this book.
