This was one that left me talking with friends, laugh out loud funny , didn’t even know things like this were written, and to find out it’s a series, not sure anyone would be able to keep a straight face while reading this

This is one of those books you pick up and you know its going to be ridiculous. You know its not going to be award winning, its going to be pure entertainment and ridiculousness. So this was exactly what you would expect out of the book. It had me laughing at the ridiculousness and was the perfect brain break. Its a book you can read for fun and not worry about having to think very hard about the content.

I heard my friends talking about this book as dinosaur erotica, where we follow a relationship between a dinosaur and a human, and I was intrigued, because how would that work? And short story even shorter, it doesn't. This book was literally just some daydreaming about dino smut, without thinking through how that could actually work. We have some absolutely terrible and disgusting scenes, which if you enjoy, please seek help :D
One good thing about this story was the last chapter where we have a discussion about slaughterhouses and how detrimental that work is to men. I thought that was a nice touch and making it a bit more interesting.
Anyway, I simply cannot recommend this book, as I don't think you need to waster your time with it, regardless of how short the book is.

Honestly the best love story i’ve ever read, and I read them for a living!! Thanks Lola for the laughs, definitely recommend playing this one out loud in public

This was just genuinely bad. And the worst part is it wasn't even fun. Truly this was an insult to monster girlies everywhere.
I'm sorry but I genuinely cannot think of any reason someone should pick this up. The smut is terrible, the writing atrocious, there's no plot, no characters, like you go girl give us absolutely nothing! Dino man isn't even monogamous and eats her arm after screwing her LOL I shit you not. I've sat here trying to come up with a nice thing to say about this book for 5 minutes, and the only thing I have nice to say is the cover is cute.... that's it. The edition I read also had the other stories in this universe... and they're even worse if you can believe it. Because they are trying so hard to be funny. I felt like I was being strangled by someone as they force me to try to laugh. A painful read.
I guess props to Lola Faust for writing the worst thing I've read in years!

Tanis was a country girl that found herself defending a Dino named Big AL. When her father caught onto their relationship they were forced to flee. On the run their relationship was tested. Will their forbidden love be able to conquer all?
I absolutely loved the world building in this story. Faust takes us on a crazy ride of life if we had dinos that could communicate and fall in love. There are some definate dark moments as dinos are carnivores and require a lot of food. Tanis and Big Al.have one heck of an adventure but to see if they get their HEA you'll have to join them by reading Wet Hot Allosaurus.
I rated this fantasy romance 5 out of 5 stars. There is an interesting realistic tone that explains things In manner that isn't to far fetched. There is plenty of spice. Who knew Dino lust could be so HOT? If you love exciting romances with couples trying to beat the odds this book is a must read!

This book lived up to its hype -- hot, steamy, and carnal! I only listened to the first chapter, but imagine if this is your erotica style, you will love it!

I listened to this audiobook while I was at work. Zero out of ten, I do not recommend doing that. Really I should have known better, but I wasn't expecting the book to make me laugh quite as much as it did, which is what really became a problem for me. There's nothing particularly funny about doing data entry for density reports, so keeping myself from laughing out loud was a struggle. I was expecting absurdity, just not quite at the levels that were delivered.

The story was quite a ride from a farm utilizing dinosaur labor, to a commune where dinosaurs and humans can be together, and ending in a meat packing plant. In a world where both women and dinosaurs seem to be property, Tanis and Big Al do everything they can to be together. It was ridiculous, but in an almost believable way.

The narration for the audiobook was pleasant, with opposite gendered voices not bothering me (which is sometimes a problem for me with audiobooks). The pace of the book was perfect, at least when I sped it up to 1.5 speed, which is pretty standard for listening for me.

Overall I give this book 3.28 out of 5 stars.

I am not one for audio books normally but this is the second one that I have listened to in the past week. This publication is suitable only for listening to alone or with headphones due to its graphic content. I have never listened to or read such as story before and I have to say that I do not think it is my cup of tea. However, it must be someones somewhere! I am not sure how I feel about humans having sex with dinosaurs or whether this counts as erotica but technically there is an interesting story line of love, adventure and escape. I stuck with it to see what the outcome was - I cannot say it is a poorly written book or anything like that - it just really wasn't the sort of book that I enjoy due to its context of interactions between dinosaurs and humans.

I love Monster Romance and Monster Erotica! Orcs, Ogres, Wereven, and everything else. But this was my first dinosaur erotic romance! Lol Still not completely sure how I feel, but it was a lot of fun! I greatly enjoyed the narration!

Honestly, such a fun time! Yeah it’s super bizarre, but that’s the way of monster romance/erotica. The narration was really well done. I did feel like the pacing was a bit off, but it didn’t stop me from reading it.

Ahhh I have so many thoughts about this lol. The narration was really good and the story was...confusing? While I KNOW this is a monster romance it still needs to make sense in my head and I was just left in shock. Like *spoiler* when he eats her arm..? WHAT! and the ending?! Usually for me if the book doesn't make sense the smut has to be good and I hate to say it, it wasn't the best I've ever read, which was disappointing.

When it comes to the narration, I really enjoyed listening to the narrators voice.

When it comes to the story, I wasn’t sure if it was meant to be satirical or taken seriously. I liked the authors writing, but there were parts of the story that didn’t make senses.

I have read other monster romances, but this one just wasn’t the best in my opinion.

I've seen people briefly talk about this book, but I didn't really know was about. I didn't read the synopsis until after I started listening to the audiobook. There are definitely some moments that made me uncomfortable. There was some funny moments. I don't really know how I feel about this book. I don't hate but it wasn't my favorite. I enjoyed the narrator Katrina Medina. It's super short and easy to listen to while doing chores.

So many elements of this just didn’t make sense to me. The first chapter is absolutely full of action (of all kinds) and it’s just a lot to get your head around. Personally wasn’t a fan.

I absolutely hated this book. I am so open to reading really weird books, including weird sex books. I am book reviewer, it is what I do! And other than not promoting or sharing content about problematic authors, I try to read everything I can (within reason).

For the most part, if the story is good, I can accept the writing to be lacking. Some storytellers aren’t the best at writing, but that is a skill that improves and honestly I love a good story. When it comes to this monstrosity, not only is the story HORRENDOUS but the writing is so bad, that if you were looking to hate read something this summer this could be a great contender.

I wasn’t in the mood for a HATE-READ session… So this was not it for me, and likely I will never revisit this author or this book.

Totally Bonkers!!! audio book but I did really like the cover - Whats that saying????? Yeap! I did it didn't read what the book was about! I don't think dinosaur erotica is for me.....But different! Very different!!!!

Do I recommend it!!!! Well, each to their own.........But not for me!
