This book is very accessible and gives a fresh perspective on learning to read, understand, and enjoy scripture. He gives great examples and illustrations, and I found myself highlighting a lot of sections to use in my own teaching of the Bible. I really enjoyed the book, especially the author's conversational way of writing. I would recommend this book to those who teach the Bible as well as those who are new to reading scripture or want to go deeper in their understanding of scripture.
