This is a story with lots of shenanigans, great characters, and a few mysteries. Charlotte, better known as Charlie, is making the effort to behave while the guests arrive for her sister's wedding. Her sister is a drama queen, her brother is hiding something, and her dad has announced that whoever finds her missing brooch will get her hand in marriage. She wants nothing to do with two of the men searching and hijinks ensue to stop them from finding it. Kade is supposed to be writing a concerto, but keeps finding himself involved helping Charlie or trying to keep his Grandda Angus out of trouble. Angus is one of my favorite characters as you just nevr know what he will do next. Kade finds himself falling for Charlie and is kept busy trying to keep the peace between everyone, convince Charlie of her worth, and solve the mystery of the brooch and deal with keeping her brother safe after a couple of accidents happen. It is a fun and thrilling story that has an ending that makes you smile.

This was such a heartwarming book. I love the connection the two main characters with each other. I love that the book has so much detail and gives us such clear understanding. The steamy scene were good. They were just the right amount. I would recommend this book to anyone !

Loved this story. Loved Kade & Charlie. The plot of a lost broach with a curse attached to it, very good, love a good curse. We have spies, we have heads of clans, we have house parties, we have relatives all over the place. A drama queen sister that needs her own reality show, lol. Charlie's father was trying to do the right thing in the most wrong way. There're tough men who say "yes dear" when their beloved wives ask anything. It took me 2 nights to read only because I fell asleep on night one. May be the best of the "Kilted" stories.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this story. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Vanessa Kelly delivered with the youngest of the Kendrick clans story. Kade has grown up throughout the stories of the brothers Kendrick and sharing in his and Charlie’s story was pure magic. This book had it all! Great love story, adventure and some mystery all with the laughter delivered through Angus, a curmudgeon of a Grandda. Although it’s part of a series and it’s wonderful to spend a little more time with old friends, this can definitely be read on its own but I promise you’ll want to get the other books to spend more time with the wonderful clan Kendrick.

I love the Kendricks, and Kade, the once sickly little boy is now a healthy, handsome, brawny, talented famous musician. He is home from touring, after a slight knife attack from a pretty spy he thought that could seduce secrets out of, oh well, at least it happened in Paris, maybe his large, boisterous, over - protective family would never find out? Right, his family home might be in Scotland, but his large family had friends everywhere, including the Home Office, now he is on his way to the Highlands to a wedding of someone in his Grandfather's extended family, he thought he was to be a guest, not the bride's dream musician! Here he was, beautiful setting, the Highlands, a beautiful loch, with one of his brothers, his Sassenach sister - in - law, his precocious niece, and his expressive grandfather who could start the next Culloden quicker than you can say Robbie Burns! The idea was for him to finish a concerto, he was to perform before the King, and his muse was as quiet as the local graveyard, he needed rest of so said his family. They were almost to their destination when out of the heather, a pure white horse jumps in front of their carriage, and on its back was a slim rider, with the kilt riding up a very shockingly pretty leg, it was a lady, with her gorgeous blond hair blowing free in the wind, Charlotte "Charlie" Stewart had made her entrance, and our lovely adventure in the Highlands begins! I tried to give it a 4.5.
I highly recommend it. Thank you #Netgalley #KensingtonBooks

I really loved parts of this book. I thought both characters were very charming, and their chemistry together was fantastic. But long parts of the text dragged and it felt like much of the conflict/plot wasn't about the main characters? This is my first book from Vanessa Kelly and I will definitely try another, but I wasn't head over heels for this.

Kindle Copy for Review from Net Galley and Kensington Books.

I received a free, advance copy of this book and this is my unbiased and voluntary review.

The charming youngest son of the Kendrick clan finally found love after his siblings.

Charlotte was happy riding her horse on a kilt but then her younger sister becomes betrayed. Under the pressure to settle down, she meets the. handsome childhood acquaintance Kade Kendrick who she collides while riding.

Sparks will fly as the chemistry will heat up as they fall in love. This musician will find himself desiring more than music to soothe his soul in this sweeping romance. A delightful spunky story of Scottish soul.

There are some books you read and enjoy but do not remember them and then there are some books you inhale, devour and BREATHE. The Highlander's Kilted Bride is one of these books.

It was an absolute delight! Charlie is the woman we all want to be and you can’t help but love her for it. Kade is an absolute delight who has a very calm demeanor but is extremely smart. The family on both sides are extremely hilarious and you will definitely laugh while reading this story! I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
