Much has been written about The Tudors and this is a great addition to any library. It’s a thorough overview and offers interesting analysis, specifically regarding Henry VIII and how he changed over time as a ruler.

I completely devoured this book. I couldn't put it down. I have a big interest in the Tudor Dynasty currently. This book is divided into sections, and talks about each member of the Tudor Family. Little history information included ie benedict Cumberbach being related to Richard lll.
Michelle has done a fantastic job with this book and I look forward to exploring more of her work.

Digital Advanced Copy received via NetGalley. As part of a series of History Snapshots published by Pen & Sword, this small book examines the Tudors and their reign in England. It is divided into sections that cover current news and media about the Tudors, the background of each relevant Tudor and includes many historical portraits. I found this immensely readable and was able to finish it in under a day. I will admit that I have done quite a bit of reading about the Tudors so I was fine with the short summaries but if you have little or no background in Tudor history, some of the information may be too brief. If you are just looking for a fun historical snapshot then this does the trick.
