Marked for Revenge is book four in the Silver Creek second-generation series. Ava, a pregnant deputy in Silver Creek, is being targeted, but she doesn't know why. Someone is killing women and taunting her with their deaths.

Harley Ryland is the father of Ava's baby and would like to be more, but Ava has written him off after an episode between him and her senator father. As a Texas Ranger, he might be the only thing that can keep Ava and his baby girl safe.

The cast of characters in this series, and book, are unique and interesting. They hold your interest, and you want to know more about them as much as you want to know who is behind the mystery. In Marked For Revenge, there are A LOT of suspects who could be after Ava, but it's up to Harley to figure it out before their perp does more than mark Ava for revenge. You can't go wrong with a Delores Fossen intrigue, and this one is no different. Grab a copy and meet the second generation of law men and women in Silver Creek!

This is a Romantic Suspense/Mystery, and this is the fourth book in the Silver Creek Lawmen: Second Generation series. I have read the first book in this series before picking up this book, but I do think you can read this book as a standalone. This book is packed with so much action and suspense, and this is a fast paced book that will keep you reading. I love the characters in this book, and I found the storyline to make me keep guessing. I loved all the reveals and the suspense in this book. This is a great read. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Intrigue) or author (Delores Fossen) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that. This book is scheduled to be released on September 26-2023.
