Thank you Netgalley and Jennifer Hartmann for this amazing read! I wasn’t sure when I started if this was going to be an enjoyable book for me. The first half is very dark. But boy was I wrong. I LOVED this book. Jennifer Hartmann is an amazing writer. The fallout of the shared trauma between Cora and Reid is palpable. I could feel their sadness and fear even though I’ve never experienced anything like it. That’s how good the writing is. This book was raw and emotional and in its way beautiful. I would highly recommend it (just check TW first).
