Mia just always knows how to tug at my heartstrings. This story was so sweet, I loved Grayson and Kira to pieces along with pretty much every side character. The angst was there, but not overwhelming and really fit their story. This is definitely one of those books that'll hang out in my head for a good while.
The daddy issues that both of these characters have is heartbreaking. Both of their dads and Grayson's mother are vile and despicable and some of the things they did to spite their children had me close to tears. I just can't imagine bringing someone into this world and treating them as pawns and filth like Grayson and Kira were. Grayson was so lucky to have Charlotte and Walter in his life, they are such loving parental figures and truly sacrificed to bring him any joy they could.
I think one of my favorite parts of this story was how the side characters showed both Grayson and Kira that blood doesn't mean anything when it comes to family and that it's possible to make your own with the people who surround you with love. Harley, Priscilla, Kimberly, Virgil, and everyone else who stepped up to help when they needed it most were just incredible and I loved them all dearly for it. Harley and Priscilla in particular came in with the best helping hand and I about unalived when their little plan came to light. Mia built such a wonderful world with these characters and I'm not sure I'm ready to leave them behind.

i definitely enjoyed this book! i really loved the characters and the tension and banter between them made this book so much better. this book was definitely a different, more lighthearted, style from her other books but i still really liked it! i also really liked the message behind this book! i do wish the characters had more chemistry and connection rather than attraction.
i really really enjoyed this book and i loveee literally anything mia sheridan writes 🙏

Another beautifully written book by Mia, and another reminder why I automatically buy anything she writes.
I loved this story. The way Grayson and Kira's relationship developed was perfect. It felt natural and realistic considering their extreme personalities. Both characters are so fiery in their own way, and somehow they still balance each other out. I'm all for the emotional stress just to see the way things come together in the end, and I absolutely adored the way they taught each other how to accept love.
As for the non-romance plot points, I really enjoyed the drama with both families, and I loved the conclusion of it all. It really felt like all of the tension and issues were resolved by the end of it, leaving no unanswered questions. Overall this was just a great story, thank you so much for the opportunity to read it!

StoryGraph review in link. Thank you for the book!!
I enjoyed reading this. The characters showed development through the story.

This was my first Mia Sheridan book and it left me wanting more. There was more backstory in the synopsis then in the beginning of the book. I don't believe this is part of a series, but for the first quarter of the book, I felt like I was missing a lot of information about Kira, Grayson and how they got to this point. It made it hard to connect to the characters and plot. The extreme back and forth in their feelings was both frustrating and repetitive and I did skim a few of the scenarios. I did enjoy the epilogue and knowing how everything turned out. Fans of Sheridan will most likely enjoy Grayson's Vow better than I did.

Disclaimer: I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Grayson’s Vow is a Re-release from author Mia Sheridan. This is my first book by this author and I can’t wait to read more!
Kira Dallaire is desperate. Desperate to get out from under her fathers corrupt political agenda along with her ex fiancé. Cut off from her father and unable to cash the inheritance cheque from her grandmother until she is married, Kira hatches one of her infamous bad ideas…..find someone as desperate as her, willing to marry for money and divorce shortly after with no strings attached.
Grayson Hawthorne is just that guy. Recently out of prison and back at his family’s run down vineyard. Grayson has one last harvest to try and salvage what’s left of the family business but he has no money left to fix the equipment and pay a crew to harvest what is most likely the last crop to come from Hawthorne Vineyard.
Kira approaches Grayson and they strike up a deal that will save them both. Agreeing to a marriage of convenience with no strings (or feelings) attached, they plan to tolerate each other for a couple of months until the inheritance cheque comes in and they can finish their business deal.
As the weeks go by, there is no denying the spark between them. Grayson and Kira slowly become entangled in a relationship that won’t be so easy to walk away from. What happens when you fall in love with your fake husband?
This was a 4 star read for me. Lots of angst and emotions and a bit of spice. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a quick read romance (enemy to lovers, fake relationship tropes).

Absolutely fantastic! Literally such a great book from start to finish! Everything about this was great!

Unfortunately this was not for me. I wanted to love it and I think the story had a lot of good aspects but it was also a little toxic. The two third act breakups I didn’t love. The scene with the drink Charlotte gave him without him know also made me a little uncomfortable. I appreciate the opportunity to read this book!

Grayson's Vow by Mia Sheridan was impeccably written, superb in every way!
A fabulous marriage-of-convenience spicy romance.
This story was absolute perfection in every sense of the way.
Woah GV was phenomenal. Mia Sheridan has this incredible way of creating stories that entraps you into the characters world world.
A refreshing, thought-provoking, compelling, emotional, sweet, and fun read that absolutely stole my heart.
The relationship between Kira and Grayson was one of the best that I've seen unfold.
And I didn’t want it to end. It’s definitely one of those you could just read for hours. Get so lost in the words and emotions you lose all track of time.
The author has this unique ability to tap into your deepest emotions as well as the characters' that are deeply affecting to you the reader. Right from the very beginning I found myself fully immersed in this tale.
The dual perspective really set stage here. I loved it.
Mia never ceases to amaze, and I’ve made my mind up that she is great at what she does!
She has quickly become a go-to author for me.
"I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."
Thank You NetGalley and Bloom Books for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC!

As with most Mia Sheridan’s books this one is a slow burn but when it ignites it ignites! This is a marriage of convenience story with two people who from the outside should have had easy lives, except Grayson went to prison and Kira had an unnamed scandal. I really struggled to fall into a rhythm with this book, it was wonderfully written and enjoyable except I wanted to scream at the characters, “JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER DAMN” most of the book. However around the 50% mark I couldn’t put it down, and the angst had me even tearing up. All in all I would recommend this book if you’re in the mood for some slow burn angst.

Thank you to Mia Sheridan, NetGalley, and Bloom Books for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
This was an easy, fun, heartfelt read. I really loved both Grayson and Kira. It was the perfect grumpy/sunshine and marriage of convenience story to break up some of my more heavy reads. Mia Sheridan has a knack for writing humor perfectly interwoven with more serious topics, which delivers a book that hits you in all the feels. The third act conflict absolutely BROKE me. Both for Grayson and Kira, while also being so mad at both of them. But the ending made it worthwhile. Love, love, love.

Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Her “dragon” and his “little witch” made such a cute couple! Loved their journey.

This is the first book that I've read from this author, but I've heard so many great things so I was excited to read this book. I thought the story line was great, I loved the characters and how they interacted. It reminded me of Beauty and the Beast. Obviously beast / dragon made me think in that direction. It was a great story. This is one that I would recommend to my friends and fellow readers. I'm also excited about reading other books by Mia Sheridan, which I have already purchased right after finishing this book!

* I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for this book. All thoughts are my own.
There’s a lot that I liked about this book: Kira, the story, the ending. This could have easily been 4-4.5 stars if Grayson wasn’t SUCH an ass. He never redeemed himself in my opinion and I couldn’t root for him. I felt bad for him because of his upbringing and Kira’s crappy dad, but time and time again he was an ass when he was supposedly falling in love with Kira. The ending was just really good and gave me the feels, but middle-of-the-book-Kira deserved so much more. I also found the dragon/witch thing a bit cringy.
Probably wouldn’t recommend unless you’re really into jerk-hole guys (not judging!).

Grayson’s Vow begins with Kira who needs to get married to get a trust fund from her grandmother after fleeing her abusive father. While getting money from her account, she runs into Grayson Hawthorn who is dealing with trouble of his own. Kira decides to proposition him by saying he’ll get half of her money if he agrees to marry her for a year.
Grayson is understandably hesitant yet he ends up going ahead with her plan and the two get married yet the fun doesn’t stop there. The passion is there but they don’t want to act on it which makes for a slow start but once these two give in, it’s incredibly clear they were meant to be together.
While I’d normally wax poetic about the characters and their relationship, I did have a bit of a hang-up with their relationship. I really did love Kira and felt for her as she was such a bubbly and happy person despite her circumstances. As for Grayson though, he felt so angry and bitter that it sometimes turned me off from his character.
If anything, I wish Grayson had been a bit more redeemable and thought about his actions rather than just being impulsive. His actions and callousness towards Kira rubbed me the wrong way and I wish she would have put him in his place more. I could understand some of why he acted the way he did but I really wish he would have let Kira in more and allowed her to help him see the error of his ways.
Other than that, Mia Sheridan’s writing was great as always. I loved the difference in setting and I especially enjoyed the side relationship between Charlotte and Walter. While this isn’t going to be my new favorite Mia Sheridan book, I think that if you like marriage of convenience and can look past Grayson’s behavior, you’ll probably enjoy this.

After reading Archer's Voice, I've been on a mission to read anything Mia has written. I was immediately caught up in Grayson's Vow and couldn't put it down.
What I loved:
- I found Grayson's vow to be more lighthearted than Archer's Voice, but just as emotional? If that makes sense. It's written with the same emotional and deep intensity that Mia writes into her characters.
- I loved Kira and Grayson together and thought they had amazing chemistry
- The depth of the plot is exactly what you would expect from Mia Sheridan and she will literally make you believe in love and how it brings out the best in us
If you're looking for a marriage of convenience romance with a ton of emotion and depth, give this one a try!

I was able to read this through NetGalley! Thank you!
I enjoyed this book. It was a great love story of 2 people who had no one (or thought they had no one). They learn what love is and how to love given tough circumstances and some stubbornness!
I did feel it was a little predictable but I enjoyed it and would recommend it to other romance readers!

I will start this off by saying I love Mia Sheridan with every bone in my body but for me, this book fell short. I just couldn't feel the chemistry between these two characters, Kira and Grayson. Grayson is your typical grumpy love interest but sometimes the things he said to Kira was too much for me. This is your standard marriage of convenience trope. which isn't my favorite. I did enjoy the side characters as well as Kira and Grayson bettering themselves individually. The spice was good but once again, I couldn't get over the pet names of 'witch' and 'dragon'.

Grayson's Vow introduced me to the incredible talent of Mia Sheridan, and now I'm kicking myself for not diving into her books sooner. While the concept of a convenience marriage isn't groundbreaking, Sheridan brings her unique touch to this story, making it truly unique. My emotions went on a rollercoaster ride as I devoured this book, and I even shed a few tears along the way. Gone are the days when New Adult was synonymous with steamy college romps; the genre has evolved, and authors like Mia Sheridan are leading the charge.
This novel strikes the perfect balance of heartfelt depth without overwhelming the reader. It's the ideal lighthearted summer read that leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone and everyone who craves a fantastic romance. Trust me; you won't be disappointed.
