I kind of forgot i finished this lol - that’s how much i cared about this book.

I think in the moment it was a cute read but it didn’t feel substantial at all. I felt like the plot needed so much more background info and the characters needed to be fleshed out more.

Would recommend if you’re looking for a nice romance read but definitely not like a “i ate this up” type of book

When I requested this ARC, I didn't realize it was a repub of a book from 2015. I'd heard of Sheridan's Archer's Voice which is a bookstagram/Tiktok favourite for those girlies wanting to cry their eyes out, but never read anything of hers myself.

As expected, Sheridon delivers on the heartbreak, trauma and melodrama of an insta-lust/insta-love relationship in her trademark way. I enjoyed the angst but at the same time it did feel a little over-the-top. It was also way too long for what it is; a middling romance novel.

Sheridan has her audience and unfortunately I'm not going to be one of her uber-fans; but this was a solid romance that delivered on its themes of second changes and redemption.

The way Mia Sheridan always delivers with the melodrama is something else. I love, love, love a melodramatic story and this fit it to the T, it was genuinely like watching a soap opera🤌🏼

This was a marriage-of-convenience, and insta-lust right at the door, but honestly I didn't mind it. The way their relationship unfolded wasn't in a way I could've possibly predicted but it didn't really detract from my enjoyment of the story. This also had a lot of heart at it's core, it's not just a story of two people who fall in love, but it's also about overcoming the struggles of the past, and finding your way forward.

This is definitely high up on my Mia Sheridan reads list, right under Archer's Voice, and I LOVED Archer's Voice.
10/10 recommend if you're in the mood for some angsty and melodramatic marriage-of-convenience.

LOVE me a Mia Sheridan story!! I am catching up on authors, and her catalogue is one I NEED to get current on! GREAT story, location, and side characters!! I was immersed in the world of Grayson & Kira!! Mia’s stories make me FEEL and this book was no exception!

FAV QUOTES:
“I thought about that, about how actions created reactions and on and on, each link a chain that stretched over time, from one person to another.” Grayson

“I believe, sir, that where there is love, there is always hope.” Walter

“If you let it, grief makes room for love within you. And the love we carry inside makes us strong when nothing else can.” Kira

3.75 rounded up

Grayson’s Vow originally published in 2015 but rereleased with a new cover this past summer. This is the third book I’ve read by Mia Sheridan. I liked Archer’s Voice but I loved Stinger, which is a lot less popular, though I’m not sure why. Through the first half of Grayson’s Vow, I thought this one would be my favorite. It’s not to say it fell flat for me because I did enjoy it but I think it was possibly just a little bit longer than it needed to be. I couldn’t put it down initially but that feeling waned a little through the back half. Plus, I have to be in a certain mood to read Mia Sheridan’s books. They have interesting plot lines but can be a little cheesy at times.

Heart wrenching story filled with redemption.
To be scared is to care. A fire breathing dragon, a little witch and worthiness.
Grayson and Kira have a lot in common. Both have privileged upbringings with hidden torment and unrequited love. Their actions show what matters. Risks are taken to survive, to provide hope.
Loved the banter of feisty heroine Kira and Grayson. There is plotting and scheming from Charlotte to Kira to correct injustices. The endearing father Walter. Supporting characters and the HOPE of redemptions from fathers to a stepmother, to a brother to ex fiancés leads to self redemption.
To have someone on your side True love. Self worth.
“Watch what people do when they think no one’s watching. That’s how you’ll know who they really are.”

This is such a wonderful author! I really enjoyed this story! I thought Grayson and Kira were meant to be! I loved the journey they had to take to get to an HEA! These two were opposites for sure! They both came from different pasts as well. This one was a lighter story than others I’ve read from her which was great. I’m looking forward to reading more from Mia!

Grayson's Vow is both beautiful and brutal at the same time. I recommend reading the trigger warnings first in case because there are several that could be upsetting to people. I enjoyed the story, it had a lot of heart but was difficult to read at times due to the characters tragic backstories. The book was like an onion, just layers of pain just peeling away to reveal two characters that seem to be made for each other. I think the only thing I didnt like or understand was if there was an age difference, she was so young.

I was unable to finish this book as I just could not feel a connection to the characters. It could be me and not the book. I will still read other stories by this author.

A great read! Modern marriage of convenience tale with sparks flying in an opposites-attract plotline. Spoiled princess who is neither spoiled nor wealthy anymore makes an agreement with an ex-con vineyard owner who needs a cash infusion to fulfill his vow to his dead father to save the family business.

This book offered a sweet mariage of convenience romance set in a gorgeous vineyard with adorable characters. It touches on some important issues while still remaining fun and light-hearted. And the grovelling was to die for!

Unfortunately, I did not resonate with the writing style and it felt like it dragged on a bit. The characters seemed underdeveloped — I just overall did not love the book as much as I did another by this author.

Mia Sheridan just writes the most beautiful books and Grayson’s Vow is not different. This is just a wonderful story from beginning to end.

Mia Sheridan has written a marriage of convenience spicy standalone. Kira is desperate. She must get married, and fast, to access the inheritance her late grandmother left her. Otherwise, she'll find herself at the mercy of her wealthy, abusive father. With little money and even fewer options, she uses her quick wit and impulsive heart to come up with a plan.

Grayson is losing hope. A convicted felon with limited capital and dwindling resources, his vow to resurrect his family's struggling vineyard seems destined to fail. That is, until a young woman enters his office with an outlandish proposal―a win-win business marriage he can't refuse. But what begins as a temporary arrangement soon threatens to become more, as vibrant, spirited Kira challenges detached, arrogant Grayson to want more from life. To want more for himself.

This book was sweet, sassy and I could not put it down!

Thanks to NetGalley and Bloom Books for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

A beautifully written love story! A marriage of convenience turns into so much more, Grayson and Kira were such great characters, their stories had me really feeling for them.

Grayson's Vow is a read that caught me by surprise! I went into the story thinking one thing and left the last pages feeling a completely different way. This seemed like a typical marriage of convenience trope (which I love) but was so much more than that! Both Grayson and Kira had messy and tramatic pasts that brought a lot of baggage into their current situations. Each main character had something to gain (and more to lose) from the arrangement they'd come to agree on. I really enjoyed the slow burn love story between Kira and Grayson. The tension and chemistry was there but the walls had to be chipped away at day by day. This really helped to build a strong foundation of understanding, compassion, trust and love. While I thought the plot twist near the end was a bit dramatic and unnecessary, I liked how the author didn't spend a lot of time dwelling in miscommunication and allowed the characters to right their wrongs sooner rather than later.

I don't think I could have loved the side characters in this story more. From the care takers of Grayson's winery, to the staff, to Kira's BFF and even Grayson's brother. Everyone brought so much to the story that was necessary to it's complexity.

A huge thank you to Netgalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books, for giving me the chance Grayson's Vow by Mia Sheridan in exchange for my honest review.

My second time ever reading Mia Shreidan was even better than the first.
Grayson's Vow had all my favorite tropes : marriage of convienience, second chance (not the kind you think but close), a broody MC and a sweetheart of a FMC

I really fell in love with Kira and Grayson's dynamic, the push and pull, the denial of feelings and the inevitable surrender, I even loved the *classic* break up that marks the crescendo of the story right before the happy end.
I can now safely say that MiaSheridan has now become one of my favourite authors and is now on my instant read&buy&buy&read list.
The thing I loved most about this book is "meet me in the middle" ,which tells you all you need to know about Kira and Grayson.
