"Love is not always smooth and easy. Love can be piercing. Love means exposing yourself—all of yourself, every tender part—to being hurt. Because true love is not only the flower; true love is also the thorns.”

This was such a beautiful love story, it was exactly what I needed to read. The romance was perfect, I loved the characters and the plot. This book follows Grayson and Kira. Kira goes to Grayson to propose a marriage of convenience so that she can get her inheritance money. Kira is in desperate need of her inheritance, and so is Grayson, who just got out of prison and is trying to revive his dads dying winery. In the beginning, Kira and Grayson kind of hate each other because of misconceptions, but in the book, we see them get closer and fall in love. This book had fun and silly moments, but it also touched on serious issues that the main characters had gone through. I loved Kira, she was a great fmc, Grayson was good as well, but some of his choices and actions were not great, even though I did understand why he did them. The side characters were so lovable and were a great addition to the story,

Overall this was such a sweet and lovely read, this was my first read by Mia Sheridan, and I will definitely be checking out more of her books.

Thank you, Bloom Books and Netgalley, for this arc for an honest review.

I am never disappointed in Mia’s work. It is so heartfelt and beautiful and overall just perfection. I adored this book, even though it talked about heavy topics. However, Mia writes about these topics in such a great way.

Overall I love this book!

WOWWOWWOW. I loved this whole experience. Ms. Sheridan did it again, and gave her readers exactly what they want in a romance novel. I am obsessed with every single novel she publishes. Big thank you NetGalley and to the publisher for the chance to review this book pre-release. A more formal review will be available on my IG/TikTok and Goodreads.

I had high hopes for this title after absolutely loving Archer's Voice but this book did not meet that expectation.

The male lead was a mentally abusive ass who's behavior was "justified" from childhood trauma. It made me feel uncomfortable and gave me the ick.

A really enjoyable read, almost enemies to lovers/fake dating, two tropes I adore and characters that you can't help but root for. This was quick and fun and I loved seeing their relationships and lives develop. I would recommend for fans of Colleen Hoover.

This was a quick and easy, sometimes fun, read. It’s a bit over dramatic and ridiculous at most points, but I did enjoy Grayson and Kira’s banter.

Two hard up individuals, Kira, age 22, and Grayson, agree to marry for the convenience of an inheritance from Kira's grandmother, who stipulates Kira must be either 30 year old or married before she can inherit a million dollars.

I enjoyed the challenges to their plan when an ex-girlfriend and an ex-boyfriend show up to complicate matters. Kira and Grayson are also children of particularly hard and cruel fathers who had put them in their untenable situation.

I liked the vineyard setting of Grayson's home, and the minor characters who play a smaller but important part in the romance. The plot was enjoyable but predictable. I thought the ending could have been shortened. It seems as in so many books, the author just couldn't let go of the characters enough to bring the book to a swifter ending.

Mia Sheridan never disappoints! Grayson’s Vow was so good. Such an emotional story about love, strength, and perseverance. I probably felt every single emotion at some point during this book! I love the well developed characters, and the detailed backstory for Grayson and Kira which only makes me love them more. Great read!

How can this be considered romance?! So much emotional abuse in this book. This is why I refuse to read Colleen Hoover and I guess I’m adding Mia to that list!

3.5 stars rounded down to 3 stars
It was good and the ending was perfect.

I had been wanting to read this book for a long time but didn't have the time.

Overall, you should read this one; her writing style never disappointed me. I love her works.

Many thanks to Netgalley and publisher for providing me with this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you Netgalley and Sourcebooks Bloom Books for sending me an ARC of this book in exchange of an honest review.

Kira, desperate because she’s penny less and lives in her car, meets Grayson in a similar situation. The solution for both of them? To marry one another to have access to her trust fund.
I personally love the arranged-marriage trope but this is its best representation. I loved this book very much but I shouldn’t be surprised because Mia Sheridan never fails.
I couldn’t stop reading after the first chapters.
I would read this all over again if I could. 5⭐️

The squeal of excitement that I released when I saw this pop up on NetGalley, knowing it was getting picked up and released by traditional publishing!! Mia Sheridan is one of my favorite authors, she's an auto-buy author for me, and that has yet to change. Archer;s Voice gets a lot of attention on tik tok, etc, but Grayson's Vow will always hold a special place in my heart. It is absolutely one of my top three favorite Mia Sheridan books, for a multitude of reasons. Read if you love forced proximity, fake marriage, grumpy x sunshine, and enemies to lovers. AGH. So good.

If you liked Mia Sheridan's other books, I beg you to read this one. If you like any of the above tropes, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Mia Sheridan has cemented herself as the go-to author for emotional, heartfelt romances with characters that will bury themselves in your heart and Grayson’s Vow is no different! An unlikely marriage of convenience between two very different people, this book is about overcoming those differences to bring out the light in the other and the love from oneself. Our heroine is funny and whimsical whereas the hero is a classic Mia Sheridan damaged hero with a good heart. An ex-con in need of help to save his family’s vineyard and a kindhearted heiress who wants to get out from under her dad’s thumb strike up a business marriage with the most unexpected outcome. As their antagonism slowly melts into swoony attraction, these two must grapple with who they think they are and what they feel they deserve.

What I loved most about this book is that it feels lighter in tone than Mia’s other books. It’s still emotional and poignant but it just has a lighter feel to the story that made me love it so much more (and also why I feel like this cover fits it so perfectly). If you love Mia’s writing but aren’t in the mood for a soul-crushing read, Grayson’s Vow needs to be your next book because the tropes are executed so wonderfully and the writing captures everything you could want in the characters!

M"Oh, I'm sure I will in some way or another,
Kira. But...desperate times-“
"Call for desperate measures. And this is about as desperate as measures get."
“I am a woman who will marry a complete stranger for money. That is me.”
This book was completely unexpected !!!! I loved it !!!!! Completely and totally !!! I can’t believe what I just finished reading!!!! I think I need time to deal with it!!!! A marriage of convenience story about a young woman trying to get that freedom she has always been denied from her father and a man who saw his life get upside down while also losing everything he loved!!!
Kira and Grayson’s story was heartbreaking and sweet and romantic and spicy and hot and complicated !!!
Together to split after the wedding her grandmother’s trust found while trying to fool her father they are in it for real, up until they start catching feelings for each other !!!!
His little witch and her grumpy dragon and together they will make trouble. But the best kind of trouble. They will also trying to overcome they past trauma and betrayal and maybe they will learn to trust again !!!!
This book was wonderful, painful one chapter and incredibly goofy and funny the next !!!! Grayson was just … ohhh so complex and so sweet and so romantic even when he didn’t want to !!!!! Somehow Kira got under his skin and he is the one to court her and it was so good !!!!!!
I am in love and honestly can’t wait for another book from this author !!!!
“And it was done. The only thing left to do was to get married. Married. To a dragon. A completely annoying dragon. For money. I groaned internally. This was, by far, the craziest scheme I'd ever concocted.”
“Irritating little witch. Sweet, compassionate, irritating little witch.”
"You may be her father," he said quietly, his voice deadly calm, "but you will never lay a hand on my wife again. Am I clear?"

Mia Sheridan is a favorite author of mine! I (and the rest of TikTok) found her through Archers Voice and I have loved reading her other titles. Her writing is beautiful and she has such complex characters. This is another must read from her!

I thought this was a new book from Mia Sheridan and after reading Archer's Voice and Travis I was excited to see what else she had. Unfortunately this is a book that is being republished and I don't think the writing quality was as great as her other work that I've read. I may have liked it more if I hadn't read the others first, but it was just hard to get into and care about the characters.

Grayson’sVow

Grayson and Kira both are out of options. Gray, an ex com is trying to save his falling down inheritance of a winery and making his late father proud. Kira is running away from her abusive and manipulative father and ex who are trying to control her with money. They agree to a marriage or convenience to inherit and split funds left to her by her grandmother as an answer to both their problems. It had so much potential for the “will they fall in love with their “fake” spouses” trope? Will Grayson prove to be the kindhearted man he appears at the very beginning? Will Kira be able to make her own way and help others? Sadly, the book goes a bit off the rails for me and just wasn’t my favorite. It didn’t have the spark of Archer’s Voice and maybe that’s on me for expecting that same connection.

My favorite parts were when they were affectionately referring to eachother as the dragon and little witch, it seemed as if they were growing towards eachother and their marriage of convenience was on its way to developing into more than just wanting but it really never felt like they got there. Gray was awful to Kira and once we got past that,I wanted to be past it. Instead he doubled down and it was hard to feel compassion from him despite his past trauma - that excuse only gets you so far with me. Kira who had her own trauma and horrid past was the sunshiney manic pixie heroine with “very bad ideas” that somehow always seem to be secretly good ideas. While she was one of my favorite characters, it was hard to connect with her and she let everyone get away with walking all over her.

Charlotte and Walter were the staff who practically raised Gray and while I loved how they loved him, it’s hard to get past the fact that she drugged him and made him so feral he could have hurt Kira… like why was this necessary? Good grief.

The Shane and Vanessa storline needed more time and explanation for me. I needed to see the reconciliation on page but instead we just are told it’s all forgiven and for such a huge point of contention it wasn’t resolved in a satisfying way.

This was a quick read and well-written and based on many other five stars review most certainly could be a me problem.

Ooof Mia Sheridan really likes to put her characters through it!! Kira and Grayson are both struggling financially and personally. The stars align and Kira suggests a marriage of convenience… to a complete stranger. Grayson judge Kira rather harshly but begrudgingly agrees. He treats her pretty terribly at the beginning but she doesn’t seem to mind too much. Through some meddling from pseudo-parents, forced proximity, and actual communication, they end up falling for each other. Of course it can’t all be sunshine and roses. There’s drama, betrayal, miscommunication, and a healthy amount of groveling. I am so glad things worked out! I loved reading about the vineyard and all of the found family. I loved the cute nicknames — Dragon and Witch. They were perfect.

Grayson seemed a bit pushy at times which I didn’t love. I also didn’t care for the herbal supplement storyline.

Overall I really enjoyed this. It was a solid 4 stars for me. Archer’s Voice still remains as my favorite Mia Sheridan book, but I’m looking forward to reading more of hers.

Honestly anything by Mia Sheridan is a homerun. This book is a marriage of convince and grumpy x sunshine. I do wish there was a little more character development as both the FMC and MMC seemed a little immature. Overall I will continue to read Mia's books!

3 Stars

This was a nice romance read with a fake-marriage trope & grumpy sunshine MC.

Grayson’s Vow was originally published in 2015 but is now being reissued. I think if I had read this in 2015 I would have liked it a lot more, but it was still enjoyable.

Thank you to Net Galley & Bloom Books for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
