If you’re looking for a cheesy quick romance read I definitely recommend! It’s a book full of fun tropes and characters, making it very enjoyable. The epilogue tied the story together perfectly!

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC. Mia Sheridan is becoming one of my new favorite writers. There's always a little romance mixed in with mystery and it's the perfect combo. Read this one!! It's worth it!

I absolutely LOVED this book. I have been in love with this Author since reading Archer's Voice so was pretty excited to be chosen to review this one. I knew I was in for an emotional roller coaster from the beginning when Kira first saw Grayson at the bank. My heart started beating fast and I kept bracing myself for the tears (that did eventually come). I loved and hated Grayson at the same time and the more I learned about his past the more my love grew. I am a huge Kira fan and so glad that she didn't write Grayson off when he wasn't the nicest to her. Mia, you have a way of ripping my heart out and then putting it back together at the end of your books. This is a HEA by the way.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing an ARC of "Grayson's Vow" by Mia Sheridan in exchange for my honest review! Our two main characters are Mia and Greyson; Mia must get married to claim an inheritance and Greyson is freshly out of jail, and doesn't have a dollar to his name. The arrangement starts off with them both claiming to never fall for each other... which of course changes as they get to know each other.
This book had some great spice in it but there were also a lot of slower moments. I thought the author did a good job making you care about Greyson and I was really rooting for him the whole time.

This was a quick and fun read. Highly recommend!

Kira and Grayson’s story is the perfect marriage of convenience story! Kira proposes a business deal to Grayson, a man done wrong by her father, that will allow both Grayson and Kira to gain freedom. The two both need the money from Kira’s inheritance. What they didn’t expect was for the Dragon and Witch to need each other for completely different reasons. Kira brings out the best in Grayson with her antics around the vineyard all while showing him who his true family has always been. And Grayson shows Kira what it’s like to be truly loved and respected by a man. A beautifully written story of two people discovering themselves while also helping each other heal.

This book was okay but overall a decent story. I probably wouldn’t pick it up again. I enjoyed the first book in the series though.

I wanted to like this book so much but it just didn’t work for me and I cannot really explain why. I like Mia Sheridan’s writing and I usually fall so hard for her characters, but this time I just didn’t. Kira was okay but nothing more. Grayson though, I had trouble with. Some of the things he did just left me in a state of angriness and I was always mad at him. He had lots of issues and a tough life, I get it... but it doesn’t feel like it excuses being mentally abusive (I said what I said). Kira had a tough life too, going from someone who physically abuses you to that... I’m waving a red flag here. She did not deserve the pressure he did put on her constantly, he was so insistent all the time and he was mean at other times and treated her poorly.

I also found it weird how suddenly Grayson changed his mind about getting involved with Kira, because one moment he was just saying he didn’t want to get involved and the next thing we know he’s like "fuck off, let’s bang"! It seems like it came out of nowhere to me. Would have loved for Kira to develop a stronger side, she really often was kind of a doormat.

Another thing I had trouble with was that story with the dog, it broke me... anything with animals though, I’m really not good with... and they just went on with almost having sex while I was still not mentally okay after the dog story. Did. Not. Liked. That.

So yeah, it took me a while to get back to this book so my review is a little weird considering I have a bad memory and took more than a month to read this... sorry. The point is, I had issues. Overall, it’s still an interesting story, Mia’s writing is always so great, deep, emotional, I feel like it can be a read lots of people will enjoy, it was just not one for me.

Thanks to NetGalley and Bloom Books for the eARC. All opinions are my own.

This is my second book from Ms. Sheridan and I have to say it was a much better experience than the first one. I read this story in one day and now know why people love this author so much!
Grayson is a man that got an inheritance from his father and its state is not something you want to mention. Now he must save it as he vowed to prove something while saving it and making it bloom again. And when a beautiful stranger offers him a deal, he must take it! But, what will be the consequences?
Kira had everything in her life if she would play the role her father wanted to put her in, but now when she's about to lose everything she will have to take a step of faith and marry a stranger! Now she will have to put her feelings at bay to not fall for Grayson, but will that be possible?
Both of them are scarred due to the past and not with a stranger they can take a step to change their lives but what if this will make them lose their hearts for the other one? And to say the least, we will love them for their flaws and how they deal with traumas!
A really good intriguing story that will captivate each reader making them devour Grayson and Kira's story! Recommended!

Mia Sheridan is an auto-buy for me, and this one was no exception. She writes excellent romances, and I can't wait for her next!

The book was fine. It wasn't great nor awful, it simply exists in its way.
I have to say that I liked Archer's voice, I didn't love it, but I sure preferred it to this.

Kia and Grayson didn't have enough chemistry; they weren't well-matched, and the spice was bland.
I would've needed more, even if I couldn't precisely say what was missing. It just left me unsatisfied and not quite bored, but nearly.

I was so excited when I received the eARC of this book because I love Archer’s voice by Mia Sheridan.

I read this book on my transatlantic flight in July and it did not disappoint.

Tropes include marriage of convenience, forced proximity and grumpy vs sunshine

“Forget the prince and princess. I always imagined the most interesting story was between the witch and the dragon.”

Thank you to the author, the publisher and NetGalley for this eARC in exchange for an honest review!

Title: Grayson’s Vow
Author: Mia Sheridan
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5)

Thank you to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books for an eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I typically enjoy marriage-of-convenience stories, and Grayson’s Vow was an overall good read! However, this book started at a slower pace and did not immediately garner my attention like the author's other works.

In this story, Kira is impulsive and reckless in her decision-making, often taking grand leaps and adhering to those choices no matter what the outcome. Grayson is hardened due to drastic past experiences, yet he is on a path of redemption to honor his late father. When they agree to marry temporarily to fulfill the terms of Kira’s inheritance, Grayson and Kira must learn to get along.

It seemed in several instances throughout the book that many issues could have been resolved through simple communication. Kira allows herself to be treated poorly in order to achieve her end goal, while Grayson’s behavior is questionable at times. Even so, I enjoyed their banter and Kira's tenacity in proving her value. Grayson's vulnerability is ultimately what allows him to grow and accept the help he needs. You'll feel pleased when things start turning around in the story. I sure did!

There were some sparks, but Grayson and Kira's romance lacked the magic; they never truly took off. I felt as though both of these key characters lacked depth in their characterization. They both have personality traits that I thought lacked maturity. However, if I had to pick just one, Kira would be my first choice. Although I thought there was a lot of sexual tension between these two, I didn't get the impression that their love was truly passionate or that it had a happily-ever-after ending. In this book we have characters with troubled pasts, a chance at true love, and a fantastic climax, but Sheridan's writing style has a lot of superfluous, pointless wordiness.

📖Grayson’s Vow By Mia Sheridan 📖
Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️

My Thoughts~ loved this book so much it had me all in my feelings, one minute I’m happy and laughing at the characters and there stubbornness, the next minute I am wanting to yell at them for there stubbornness. They were so good for each other in many ways because they were completely opposite. Kira is kind selfless, generous, fun, free spirit of a woman and Grayson is shut down, all work no play in a sense however as the book goes on you get the good sides of Grayson as he opened up. I absolutely adored the relationship that Grayson has with Walter and Charlotte and also the relationship that Kira developed with them.
The nicknames that they came up with for each other were super cute I don’t want to spoil them so I’ll leave you to read the book and find out 😉. I highly recommend giving this book a read easily a 5 star read for me.

Quotes

“A relationship isn’t a competition. If it is, no one wins.”

“I love you, Kira. I’ll never stop saying it. I’m ready to brave the thorns. I’ll plunge myself on them for you.”

I really enjoyed Archer’s Voice and Travis, so I was super excited to dive into Grayson’s Vow. Overall, I think the writing and flow of the story was good. I loved the way Kira would poke fun at Grayson, and every time we got a peek at her free spirit. She was such a lovable FMC!

I had a harder time connecting with Grayson and found that pieces of his story seemed a bit disjointed or in the wrong place as they were revealed. This was a re-release through Bloom Books and I think Mia’s writing has come a long way since Grayson’s Vow.

Read this one if you love:
🍷A strong FMC
🍷Enemies to Lovers
🍷Marriage of Convenience
🍷Grumpy/Sunshine

Thank you to NetGalley, Bloom Books and Mia Sheridan for an advance copy. This is my honest review.

Grayson's Vow is a gorgeous and emotional story about love, strength and perseverance. It was also a lot of fun to read. It made me cry, it made me smile and it made me feel. I'm not sure if there is a better combination out there.
I love books that make me feel, but also make me laugh and smile. It was the perfect mix. A sure sign I loved a book is when I stayed up all night and read it cover to cover and thats exactly what I did with this one!
Grayson's Vow is one I highly recommend!

Another great read by Mia Sheridan! I have loved her entire catalog and this one did not disappoint. PSA do not read anywhere that you don’t want to other people to see you crying. I can’t wait to see what she has in store next. Check out Grayson’s Vow!

I will say this book isnt classic Mia Sheridan. the set up is very good. we love troubled MCs but it loses the flair very early on. This book starts with Kira who is running away from her rich dad needed a marriage for convience to get her inheritance.. (i am here for it) but seeminly picks a random dude , a felon no less, and is like boom ttheres my mark. Grayson spends far too much of the book a complete asshat. the majority of this book is just Grayson ruining everything and Kira basically letting him act a dang fool.. meh.. this one wasnt for me.. also it made me google and fall down the rabbit hole of Vigneron. It never actually mentions Graysons job so I had to google it.
