Thank you to Netgally, the publishers, and Hope Carolle

When I requested this book I was unaware that it was apart of a series, one that requires you to read the previous books for this one to make sense. I am unable to read all the previous books along with this one before the publish date. Therefore, I will rate this a fair 3/5 stars and will adjust the rating and review when I am able to read all the books in the series along with this one.

Love Across Time

This is an entertaining time travel adventure. Gabby agrees to travel back in time to retrieve a missing da Vinci painting, and she falls in love with the man in the painting on her wall. There will be challenges, of course, including lustful kings, unscrupulous thieves, and the difficult life of centuries ago. I enjoyed this time travel adventure and would recommend it to those who like stories of impossible things.

This is the second book of the series and can be easily read as a standalone. The story was a well-written time travel romance and kept my interest all the way through. This story is a bit unique in that Gabriella knowingly goes back in time and she knows how to get there and how to come back. The story was well-paced with plot twists that kept me engaged and interested. The author did a nice job of presenting details that really brought the story to life and helped me picture everything in my mind. Thomas and Gabriella were great characters and I enjoyed following their story and seeing their relationship grow.
This was an entertaining and enjoyable addition to the series and I look forward to reading the next installment.
I received a complimentary copy from Dragonblade Publishing and Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

This is book 2 in the Ladies of the Labyrinth series. This one can be read as a stand-alone as the author recaps what had occurred in the
first book.
lam a sucker for a Time Travel romance and what I loved about this one was Gabriella knew she would be going back in time. She knew how she would get there and how to come back to her own time.
This was a great paced story with strong, likeable characters.
I particularly enjoyed the extra details the author put in regarding King Henry And Francois.
1 also loved how she portrayed Leonardo De Vinci. A gentle old soul who had great vision and an open mind.
enjoyed this one so much I will be going back to read the first book.

Not what I expected. The first few chapters were rough (intro) but once you got to the meat of the book it was funny and unique.

This is the first book I have read by Hope Carolle. I enjoy time travel stories and this is an original idea with all the supporting details she provided.
Main Characters - Gabriella and Thomas
Secondary Characters - Graham, John, Anne, and Winston
It was the details in the story regarding Henry VIII and King Francois I, not to mention Leonardo da Vinci that I particularly enjoyed.
I will definitely go back and read the frist book in the series, and the next book.
I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley and Dragonblade Publishing, and I encourage you to read this HEA for yourself.

An interesting take on going back in time but take heart this is an HEA. I was so worried throughout the book that this was going to be one of those books that was so disappointing and you had to read the next one in order to find out what actually happens. BUT its not! This is my first book in the series and I wasn't lost at all. Also there is only one scene that you could skip through if you wanted to but to know that it happened is an important part of the story. Enjoyable and interesting read.
I recieved a free copy so that I might tell you what I honestly think. Hope you enjoyed my review. Now go enjoy the book.

King’s College PhD candidate Gabriella Palmer is sixtieth in line to the throne, yet has only forty pounds to her name. She’s got no man, no money, and she must reluctantly return to her dissertation. So when offered the opportunity to travel back in time to meet her hero, the great Leonardo, she accepts the mission to find one of his missing paintings and bring it back to 2023. Accompanied by a cantankerous “bodyguard” named Graham, and time-travel expert John Stafford, Gabby experiences a series of misadventures. But meeting Thomas of Egham, the Tudor hunk whose painted portrait has hung on her bedroom wall since she was a teen, was a definite upside.
The second book in the series & it’s easily read on its own. Another well written book with strong characters & a well paced story. I like that John is still making an appearance & still time travelling. I also loved both Thomas & Gabriella & thoroughly enjoyed how their relationship grew & changed but could a twenty first century woman & a sixteenth century man have a future?
My review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

This novel has a lovely cover, the plot caught my interest and the editing is good. Unfortunately, I found the storyline and characters difficult to relate to as they defied credulity. Having received a gift copy of this novel, I felt duty-bound to read it to the end but wished I had put it down after the first few chapters. I received a copy of this book as a gift through Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.
