I love this series. Shannon and Duke have secretly crushed on each other and when Shannon sends him a text that she didn't mean to she wanted to run away and never be seen again but Duke took it as a sign and texted her back. This starts something special, even if they have to keep it under the radar so her brother doesn't find out. They want to keep it from him while he is deployed. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone, if you want.

A sweet romance that ticks all of the boxes. An enjoyable red for sure.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an advanced copy of the book in exchange for a review.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the audio version. The story itself I really liked. I just don't care for the narrator. I have read I believe all the books in this series and I have really like the simple coziness rom com from each book and this one didn't disappoint. It is a very easy fast read but I would recommend reading the physical book due to you might not like the narrator. The narrator made every single female character have a valley girl voice. After a while it gets really annoying.

DNF -- This one let me down a little bit compared to the others in the series so far. I wasn't really connecting to the characters or the narrator, so I decided to put down this series for a bit and pick it up at another time. I have liked others by Savannah Scott and I think this, and the next in the series, would work better for me at another time.

Duke Satterson, oh how I adore you. I love your flirtatious smile and carefree attitude, but most of all, I love the way you love Shannon!!
Shannon, you’re a rock star! You’re the cool girl we all wish to be. And you make me feel better about my autocorrect fails!
This book was just amazing! Duke and Shannon had the best tension and chemistry. These two have been secretly pining over each other for years. Duke is trying to honor a promise he made to his best friend Chris, Shannon’s older brother that’s away on military duty. Duke promised to look after Shannon. To keep her from dating losers. But what about his own feelings for Shannon? Duke is known as a charmer, someone who never takes relationships serious. Would Chris think he’s good enough for his sister?
This was the swooniest book in the Getting Shipped series so far and just might be my new favorite! I absolutely loved every second of this book. The sneaking around like teenagers, the toe curling kisses and the witty dialogue had me smiling through out the entire book!
If you have not read this series yet, please do. I love the town of Bordeaux with all my heart. I love its people. I love this series!

The term man up should def die. I wish this novel got the memo that we have evolved from things being strictly feminine and absolutely masculine. The line is blurred and men showing emotion is no longer a weakness. Get with the times! Also men shouldn’t touch any women’s low back without an invitation first. We aren’t animals that need guiding. I enjoyed the overall story, but had to take some of the details with a grain of salt. I liked the continuity of the characters between novels, but the traits of characters missed the mark for me. Maybe I’m too liberal?

Author: Savannah Scott
I requested a digital advanced readers copy from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media and providing my opinion voluntarily and unbiased.
My Thoughts: Scott is one of my FAVORITE authors! Auto buy, without any blurb. This is book no. 4 in the Getting Shipped series, my favorite series that I have read. I have read every book in this series. This is a clean romance novel following the tropes of forbidden love, small town romance, friends to lovers, grand gesture, and best friend’s brother/sister on each side. This is one of my favorites from the series.
The story is narrated by both Shannon and Duke, in a dual narration. Shannon is the best hairstylist in Bordeaux, outgoing, kind, and has the best friend group. Duke is the best mechanic in Bordeaux, jokes a lot, is very charming, and also has a best friends group. In this friends group, a lot of the people have paired off. We also get an update from some prior books, which I love. I just swooned over the sweet secret moments Shannon and Duke shared. The characters were developed so well with depth, are flirtatious, witty banter, and mad chemistry. The supporting characters are spot on as well. The author’s writing style is one of my favorites, complex, clean, crisp, swoony, and just brilliant.
The narrators, Amy McFadden and Will Damron, do an excellent job with the MCs and the supporting characters with their voice variation. They really have done this series justice bringing you into Bordeaux, Ohio! I was sad to see this series end with Ripped and Shipped. I HIGHLY recommend this book and EVERY book in this series. Available in KU and most are on audiobook. Go pick up today!

I am a huge fan of Savannah Scott's writing and this audiobook brought this story to life in another way!
The narrators did a fantastic job of giving Duke and Shannon their voices.
Savannah not only created loveable characters and laugh out loud moments, she also gave her characters depth and real feelings and problems. One of my favorite things about her stories is that I know her characters will get their HEA, but they have real problems like the rest of us and they are going to have to work for it.
Not only is Duke a bad boy, he's the best friend of Shannon's older brother, Chris, which makes her completely off limits. Her heart hasn't gotten that memo yet and the crush she's carried for Duke has become even stronger.
I love the pacing of this story, the laughable moments, the character arcs and the resolution.

thank you to netgalley for the advanced listening copy of Censorshipped by Savannah Scott. This was such an adorable and well written romance story. Also it is based in Ohio and my book shop is located in Ohio. I absolutely must have this on my shelves and if the author or publisher or some one sees this I would love the chance to have this author come in for a signing! A great book based in Ohio where I live is such a cool thing.

I didn't realize this was a series at first, but I read a few of them now and I think they're all sufficiently able to be read as standalones and they're pretty good

Thank you to the publishers, author and NetGalley for the free copy of this audio book.
Such a cute read! Sometimes you just need a fun little romance and this was the perfect one. I haven't read any of the others in the series and this was fine as a standalone. I would definitely be interesting in reading the others though! I loved the narrators as well.

A dual narration of brothers best friend, lovers who have been secretly crushing for years and have remained friends due to their siblings.
A cute small town romance with a happy ending. I always enjoy when the narrations are done by the coordinating genders as well! I feel it helps the story flow better. A little under 12 hours for narration for a cute small town romance! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

This is my first book by Savannah Scott but definitely not my last!! This is a super fun and swoony book about falling in love with your brother's best friend. Shannon and Duke have had feelings for each other for a LONG time but neither admitted it to the other so they each thought they were alone in their feelings.
This is a small town romance so once Shannon and Duke admit their feelings to each other they have to keep it a secret or word will spread like wildfire! It was fun to see how they planned to keep it under wraps. There's so much to love about this book: the chemistry between the main characters that jumps off the page or into your ears if you listen to the audiobook, Zumba class for seniors, dual POV, stargazing, lots of flirty banter and of course toe-curling swoony kisses.
I listened to the audiobook and love the dual narrators!! I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts expressed in this review are my own.

The Getting Shipped! series is one of my very favorites, and getting to enjoy it on audio was so fun! This is a clean, closed door romance with all the swoony, sweet moments! I can’t wait to listen to the rest on audio!

Censorshipped is a sweet, clean romance that just made me smile. I loved the character development and smart, witty dialog between Duke and Shannon, the quirky supporting characters of their small town and revisiting the couples from the previous books in the series to Che k our what’s new in their relationships. I’m ready to read the next one in the series!

Have I know become addicted to this series... YES
Have I been inspired to purchase all of them... YES
It is a sweet clean Rom-Com that left me wanting to deep dive back into this wonderful series.

When you have a crush on your brother's best friend and you know it can never go anywhere.... Right?
Book #4 in series, you can read it as a standalone but it's really fun to read about other characters from the other books in the series.
Thank you to NetGallery and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Cute romcom. Not my favorite one in this series but still cute. This author does a great job of making you fall in love with the characters.

Hello lovers of the 'Getting Shipped' series! This is a great addition to the series!
Duke and Shannon have both secretly been crushing on each other for years but assume there's no way the other could like each other. Duke is Shannon's very protective older brother's player best friend and Duke is done with flings but finds himself wanting more with one person he shouldn't.
This book gave me very much the Ross and Rachel phone moment where Rachel drunkenly says "I'm over you" in a voicemail and Ross says "When were you under me?" (I might be aging myself with this reference but it is so fitting!). Honestly this book was cute, fun, and easy to read. I found myself wanting to live in this town with these swoon couples! I get why they are off limits to each other but you can't help but see their undeniable chemistry! That being said the constant miss texting and autocorrect text mistakes that I know are there to make Shannon quirky felt a little over the top for me. Not to the point of making me want to stop reading but definitely felt like a bit much.
Overall, I would recommend this book to any lovers of the best friend's brother trope who is looking for a light hearted read. Thank you NetGalley for an opportunity to read this book!

Super cute story. Like the forbidden brother’s best friend trope. Like the small town setting where everyone knows your business. It was funny.
