I've enjoyed all of the Getting Shipped books I've read so far, but this one has been the most enjoyable of them all. This one had a believable romance storyline, little to no annoying moments/phrases, very likeable main characters, and a lot less of the filler quirkiness that sometimes appears in this series. Believe me, I'm from a small Southern town and know how crazy things can get, but some of the things that happen in the other books are just downright absurd in a way that impacted my enjoyment of the story.

Duke and Shannon were so precious together, and I loved seeing the serial flirtist finally get his girl. There wasn't too much drama, the conflicts were handled decently, and things were resolved and back on track in no time. And the "grand gesture" wasn't too over the top or unbelievable. They had a good, solid friendship that morphed into a loving relationship, and I loved it! I honestly could have done without the epilogue, but I know most people will love it.

It was also awesome seeing Jayme again! Her story was the second one I read, so knowing ahead of time what was in store for her was a nice little treat. She'd be an awesome roommate.

If you want a clean, sweet, small-town, friends-to-lovers, brother's best friend, secret dating romance with fun, flirting, silly banter, and adorably steamy moments, pick this one up!

In this small town romance, we meet Duke and Shannon and we adore them from the first minute, or the first page if you have a physical copy!

Shannon has had a crush on Duke for years! Duke is her brother’s best friend, so he was always around. He is also a very big flirt and nobody expects him to have a serious relationship and settle down. Therefore Shannon never entertained the idea of revealing her feelings, neither to her friends nor to Duke himself. She tries to consider him a friend, especially since he always treated her as a little sister. So she dates and spends her time in dance classes, her father’s office or the salon where she works as a nail artist.

Duke on the other hand is in a very difficult position. When his best friend Chris left for the army, he asked him to keep an eye on his sister. He knows how bad some men can be and he doesn’t want his sister to get involved with someone that will break her heart while he is away. Chris knows that Duke understand the kind of men he means, as Duke kind of is one of those men. So Duke pretty much destroys all Shannon’s dates with men that do not deserve her. But in order to be honest to himself, he doesn’t do that only because Chris tasked him with his sister’s responsibility. He does it also, or rather mainly because he cannot stand to watch Shannon with another guy. He has a thing for Shannon for years now. But between the fact that she is his best friend’s sister and his reputation, he never made a move. But lately the world seem to have shifted in its axes, because he cannot help himself from flirting Shannon. And if he understood it right, she might be truly reciprocating.

These two are perfect for each other! The have been hiding those feelings for so long now, that once they decided to act upon them, they couldn’t keep back. Their relationship building is so cute. They both think of what this would mean to them, to Chris and how would he react when he learned about it. To my opinion, he had no saying to their relationship or feelings, but based on the premise, I can understand why they are thinking about it. Apart from that, they both have their insecurities, but it seems that they know what they want and they finally do something about it.

The narration had two point of views and this is where the two narrators came in. I have to admit they both did an amazing job bringing their characters to life! Shannon was so realistic, especially when expressing her inner thoughts and troubles. And Duke’s narration was so flirty and cute that it felt as if the blond gorgeous guy was right in front of me!

Even though I haven’t read any of the previous books in the series, I didn’t feel something was amiss, as the books can be read as standalones. However, having read this one, and having had such a good time with it, I do want to read the previous and next books in the series!

Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to listen and review this audiobook. The views expressed are my personal and honest opinion.

Savannah Scott is an author I have seen all over my Bookstagram feed and been dying to check out. I was curious to see if the books in her sweet romance series, Shipped, were as good as everyone says. After receiving a copy of Censor(shipped) on audiobook, I can now say they are.

Censor(shipped) follows Duke and Shannon’s relationship as it evolves from friendly (brother’s best friend) to full fledge love.

Shannon’s older brother and Duke’s best friend, Chris, is away serving the country. Just before he left, Chris charged Duke with keeping an eye on Shannon, specifically when it comes to men. What started out as a favor quickly develops into more.

Caught off guard by their feelings, Duke and Shannon decide to keep their relationship a secret. After all, growing up in a small town taught them that news travels fast. They want time to figure out what it is they are doing before Chris gets wind of it. Things appear to be going well until until Chris arrives home early.

As I mentioned earlier this is my first time reading a book from Savannah Scott and the Shipped series. While this is technically the fourth book, it read as a true standalone. I was able to dive into the small town of Bordeaux and the characters that call it home without any issues. But, I would like to go back and read the other books merely to hear their stories.

As far as the format goes, I found the audiobook to be well done. Both the female and male narrator were fantastic. They each voiced several character and did so effortlessly.

Special thanks to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest feedback.

Censorshipped is the fourth book in author Savannah Scott’s Getting Shipped romcom series. In this standalone story, set is the fictional town of Bordeaux, Ohio, pronounced Bored ox, the reader is introduced to Shannon St. James, younger sister of soldier Chris St. James. Before Chris was last deployed he charged his best friend Duke Satterson to watch over Shannon and protect her while he was gone.

Shannon has had a huge crush on Duke as long as she can recall. This unrequited feeling has kept Shannon from seriously dating anyone else. While Shannon has done her best to keep this to herself, her good friend and housemate Jamie is on to her. What Shannon doesn’t know is that Duke also has feelings for her that he is keeping to himself and when both Shannon and Duke discover their feelings are mutual, the real issue plays out. With just weeks until Chris comes home for good, Shannon and Duke keep their feelings and relationship to themselves, or at least they try to!

This is a laugh out loud romcom that just might make the reader misty at moments. Ms. Scott has woven a fun story with wonderful characters. I very much enjoyed this book and do recommend it!

Such a cute clean romance! I loved the small town and, being that I’m from Ohio, I loved all the Ohio references! Shannon and Duke had great banter and chemistry. The audiobook was narrated by a male and female narrator and they both did an outstanding job. I could’ve seen myself give this 5 stars except that it was just too long. Would have been perfect if just a little shorter. Highly recommend if you love clean romance!

This town and these people are like family. Savannah Scott has created this beautiful small town with twisted love stories and calamities galore.

If you need sworn worthy stories of love and fun town antics please start from the beginning and fall in love with this town.

Audio Narrators do an excellent job bringing this to life.

Brother's Best Friend is officially my favorite story line. I just can't get enough of these types of stories. They pull me in hard and this one did not disappoint in the least! Savannah does such a great job building characters and relationships and situations that leave you craving more and more. I listened to this via an audiobook and the narrators just brought so much extra life to this already great story line. This story was narrated with dual narrators who added the perfect spunk to Duke and Shannon. While this is part of a series, you don't need to read them in order. I personally did not and I'm still enjoying jumping around to each book. Shannon is Chris's little sister who just happens to have a life long crush on Duke. Duke, however, is Chris's best friend. Duke has made a promise to Chris to keep an eye out for Shannon while he is away in the military. Things don't always go as planned, especially when Shannon's texting is involved. If you love a good clean romance, lots of laugh out loud moments, hidden feelings, sweet nicknames, backwards baseball caps, and sweet sentimental gifts then this is the perfect story for you.

"No man can live up to my book boyfriends."

When a series makes you laugh and cry with each book you know you have a special author and this is true of the writing team of Patty and Savannah Scott. In book 4 of their Get Shipped series, CensorShipped, we get the off limits best friend's little sister trope.

When Shannon's big brother leaves for the military he asks best friend, "shameless flirt," Duke to watch over his little sister not knowing they both have had crushes on each other for years.

Having the same narrators for all the books, Amy Mcfadden and Will Damron, is perfection. They know all the quirky characters in this small town and just by the tone of their voices so will you.

Duke follows Shannon on all her dates and Shannon keeps mis texting Duke that leads to the most hilarious misunderstandings and ultimate romance...until her brother comes home early and censors their relationship. But we know censorship never wins!

I received a free copy of this audiobook from Dreamscape Media via #NetGalley for a fair and honest review.

Overall, I found this book to be an enjoyable read with well-developed characters and a fun plot. I did not read about about this series before diving in because the closed door aspect was a little disappointing. I do think that some readers may welcome the lack of explicit scenes. If you're looking for a light and entertaining read, this book is definitely worth checking out.

Narration seems a little off. To me, the voices seemed a little too mature for the tone of the characters.

Censorshipped by Savannah Scott

This is book four of the Getting Shipped series. In this one it is Duke and Shannon's turn to finally find their way to each other after each of them crushing on the other for a long time. Shannon has loved Duke for years, but she knows he's never thought of her as anything other than his best friend's little sister. Or has he? Even though Duke has been tasked by Shannon's older brother to watch out for her while he serves in the military, there's always been part of Duke that wishes he could be more than just a protective big brother stand-in. Soon Duke can't help spending more time around Shannon and wanting more than just friendship. But what would Shannon's brother say if he came home and found them together? Maybe Duke isn't even worthy of Shannon's love after leading a playboy lifestyle and struggling to figure out what to do with his future. Can these two find a way to admit their feelings without hurting each other or Shannon's older brother?

This was really good, and I didn't like Shannon's brother response to his best friend and sister hooking up. I don't like overbearing brothers or siblings. Beyond that it was cute story watching Shannon and Duke doing what needed to be done long before now that is falling for each other.

Narrated by Amy McFadden and Will Damron the sad part like i have said in other reviews the characters in each book in the series had the same voice and I wanted them to change it up a bit. For this reason, I took a star away.

Another small-town romance down. I enjoyed this couple's story and am excited to start the next one. I like that you don't have to read all the books to understand what is happening. They are all standalone but have characters from the other books that pop in every once in a while. The brother's best friend trope made this story intriguing. It was tied together so nicely-I'm happy I got to read it.

These narrators are fantastic! Perfect for our two MCs.
He’s her brothers best friend.
She’s off limits for him by said brother.
What happens when they just can’t stay apart?
This storyline was adorable. I loved the small town vibes. The magical chemistry and oh boy that first kiss 🥰. Checked all the boxes for what you want in a lighthearted romcom with a guaranteed HEA.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for sending me a copy. All opinions expressed are my own.

Thank you NetGalley for the audiobook in return for an honest review!

First off shoutout to the narrators - I really liked them. If you love friends to lovers and brothers best friend, then definitely pick up this book. I enjoyed it for the most part, but I could not handle Shannon’s text messages. As someone who also spells everything wrong in texts - hers being every other word it was too much and being read them was annoying. Hated the third act breakup and ended up hating her brother. We do get an epilogue which was really sweet. Also this can be read as a stand alone, but I wish I read the others first.

Heads up y’all - spice level zero/just kissing but the tension was really good.

I have been reading all of the other books in this series and loved every one and this is no exception. Loved this book and hope to read more from this author very soon!

I love the brother’s best friend trope and mixed with the romcom vibes made this a really cute story. Shannon has had a crush on Duke since she was young and unbeknownst to her he has felt the same way for her. Duke is my favorite character because he is not afraid to wear his emotions on his sleeves, not many male characters do this. This is a great story if you are looking for a palate cleanser with no spice.

Censorshipped is the 4th book in the Getting Shipped series and it's probably one of my favorites so far!

It's such a sweet and adorable small town, forbidden romance, slow burn, long time crush, brothers best friend and a bit of a bad boy rom-com that is sure to put a smile on your face.

As always with Savannah Scott's books, it is fast paced and funny. Love the banter and love seeing all the side characters from books past.

Thank you NetGalley, and Dreamscape Media Audio production for this free audio in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this audiobook. As a fan of Savannah Scott, this book was everything I wanted it to be. Book number 4 of the Bordeaux crew, was hilariously sweet. Following Shannon and Duke as they navigate their tricky relationship and botched text messages make this one to not miss.

I thank you for this ARC from Netgalley of Censorshipped by Savannah Scott
