So darn cute! I swear Censorshipped is the sweetest one yet. Savannah Scott has created such an engaging formula with these books, and I'm warning you, whichever one of the Getting Shipped! novels you pick up, you're going to want to read them all.
The townsfolks just get funnier and funnier, it almost makes me wish I lived in a small town lol.
I did the audio version which is performed by Amy McFadden and Will Damron who do a fantstic job with this series.

A sweet small town romance hitting so many tropes and giving the swoons! I did not enjoy the narrator's and this my opinion of the story suffers a bit, but I thought it was a nice and light romance. No spice.
I do love a good long time crush/second chance romance. Duke and Shannon were very cute together. Overall enjoyable but likely forgettable.

I loved this book the first time I read it, so I was curious as to how listening to it would work out. It is just as laugh-out-loud funny and swoony as reading it to myself! The narrators did a GREAT job with the different voices and inflections. I recommend this book as a paperback, ebook, AND audiobook! Just go ahead and get all 3 versions so you can read/listen no matter where you are or what you're doing!
~I was given this book as a complimentary copy. No positive review was required, and all opinions are my own.~

The book is narrated in two voices, and the narrators are great.
Has small chapters, which makes it entertaining to listen to.
The book gives the reader the atmosphere of a small town and has a cast of varied characters that integrates very well into the story.
I really liked the part where it showed that we can think about changing careers, changing our lives, doing what we are passionate about whenever we want. That we just have to try and take chances. I liked that part of dealing with the characters' lives.
However, even though I understood why they liked each other, I just didn't feel it.
Maybe because I thought he was overprotective of her and he thought had to be a man, I didn't appreciate that. And then they were all just looking and sexualizing each other's bodies, which made it be something more sexual than romantic.
And maybe that's why sometimes the characters seemed a little childish to me.
The brother drama, was just to much for me, but I liked to have the perspective of him, coming home so much differences.
The end was kinda cute, though, with the old ladys.
I guess it wasn't a book for me, on the romance part. But it had its high points.

This is not my first book by Savanna Scott. However, it is my first audio book ever!!!. I enjoyed the way the two people read it. Slightly changing the voices to accompany different characters. I had already read this e-book but hearing it was a different experience. I had already liked 'Hollywood ' and Duke in the book, but ebook brought them to life.
I recieved a free copy so that I might tell you what I honestly think. Hope you enjoyed my review. Now go enjoy the book

Savanah Scott will forget rank in my top 5 romance authors. All the cliché tropes, but I'm here for every single one of them. The shmultz the sickening love. All of it.

This is the fourth book in the Getting Shipped Series, a small town romance. This series is amazing! Shannon and Duke's slow burn romance is so sweet, fun, and heartwarming. Shannon is beautiful, smart, and feisty. Duke is very handsome, and protective. They are perfect together. The supporting characters are great and interesting. This is a great best friend's sister romance. Amy McFadden and Will Damron did an excellent job bringing this story to life. Looking forward to listening to Doctorshipped, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series! I received a copy of this book through NetGalley, a Dreamscape Media Audio production, for an honest review.

I LOVED this book! Shannon and Duke - what a sweet, wonderful, all the feels, slow burn romance. Years! They've had a thing for each other for YEARS! When they finally stop fighting the feelings, the harsh reality of Shannon's brother who doesn't think Duke's good enough for his little sister hangs between them. Yet, he's worthy of being one of her brother's best friends? All I can say is I am so thankful my brother was younger than me and never acted like this.
Savannah Scott is fabulous at writing fun romance. Amy McFadden and Will Damron did an amazing job of narrating this story. I can't wait to go back and read the other books in the series.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the review copy of this audiobook.
Duke and Chris are best friends. Shannon is Chris' little sister. Shannon and Duke have secretly been crushing on each other for years, but are off limits from each other. You know, the whole "brother's best friend/best friend's little sister" thing. After having tragically losing their other sister, Chris and Shannon are very close and he is very protective of her. While Chris is away on military deployment, he puts his trust in Duke to keep an eye out on Shannon. But what happens when their feelings for each other become known? And how will they tell Chris?
I absolutely love this book series. The narration was great! Amy McFadden and Will Damron always do a perfect job. Can be read as a standalone, but recommend reading the series in order to be properly introduced to all of the characters.

Shannon and duke
Shannon has been crushing on duke since she was teenager but their only one complication she think duke isn't interested ok may another one her brother Chris which happen to be duke best friend.
Shannon start getting flowers from a secret admire
She teaches dance class to the seniors she work with her dad and she been pinning for a man she can't have.
Duke coaches little kids he work in his family garages and the principle just offer him a coaching position at school but he has to be a teacher and history teacher and he has to pass a test to become one but his worry was going to happen to his family business once his dad retired.
Duke overhears a conversation between jame and Shannon about her feeling for him and he can't stop thinking about her so they start to date in secret until Chris come home and see them together. And word were exchanged.

Bordeaux is a typical small town. Gossip is the most important thing that happens all the time. Can Shanon and Duke act on their long time crush while keeping it secret until Shanon big brother and Duke’s best friend Chris comes back from the army? Duke is a flirt and the last man Chris wants for his little sister but they can’t help their feelings. The audiobook is great, Amy and McFadden and Will Damron make Savannah’s funny and sweet story even better with their voices and work

This book... WAS SO CUTE!
This is a forbidden, best friend/sibling romance. This is the fourth book in the "shipped" series, but in my opinion, doesn't need to be read as part of the series. However, the whole series is fun and quick. It's the perfect beach read!
Scott does an amazing job with the storytelling of Duke and Shannon relationship. He's her brothers best friend who's been instructed to watch over her while her brother is deployed. He's watched her from afar, but no woman has ever been able to keep his interest like she has.
She's his best friends sister who wants nothing more than to break down his walls and barriers and steal a steamy kiss. What happens when her brother finds out?! Read and see.
I loved this book. The audio adaptation was amazing. Will recommend to anyone!
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishing company for allowing me to listen to this amazing piece.

❓ What's your favorite bookish, cozy, small town?⠀
⠀
⠀
✨ I just finished Censorshipped by Savannah Scott, set in the idyllic tiny town of Bordeaux (pronounced Board-Ucks) and I am head over heels for this gem! ⠀
⠀
Censorshipped is a cozy romcom that features main characters Shannon and Duke as they try to avoid the forbidden, fiery attraction they have to one another. ⠀
⠀
In classic best-friends-sibling trope, mechanic and baseball coach Duke is crazy about Shannon but he promised his bestie Chris that he would protect his little sis from guys with questionable pasts and his is pretty tarnished. Shannon has had the hots for her brother's bff for as long as she can remember, but this dancer/receptionist/nail artist wants to keep things calm for Chris when he gets home from deployment. Years of flirting and a night of welcome home party planning end with a sizzling kiss and the start of a secret romance. ⠀
⠀
This rom com adorable and full of fun interactions with the townsfolk as well as sweet, romantic scenes with the MC's and key secondary characters. I loved the worldbuilding and the cozy town of Bordeaux. ⠀

Dnf after 68%. Had a hard time enjoying this book. It felt like I have heard this story a thousand times before. It wasn't anything that happened that made me remember this after I have listened to it, unfortunately.

Another great addition to the Getting Shipped series!
Everyone knows I LOVE my smut, but there is something so special and magical about this series that has me absolutely obsessed.
In case you didn't figure it out, this is a clean romance, but THE CHEMISTRY
Duke has a way with words that will make you swoon
If you love brothers best friend, friends to more, and small town romance, this series is for you!
Each book is interconnected, but can definitely be read as standalones…..you'll just see some spoilers about who got with who
Thank you to the author and @netgalley for allowing me to listen to yet another book in this series!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
This romance novel was so cute! I adored Duke in the previous book and was so excited to get a book with chapters from his perspective. Him and Shannon were wonderful together. I am loving all this books in this series because they are just adorable and have such sweet tender moments.

I listened to this book as an audiobook. It is the fourth book of the Getting Shipped series, and my first by this author, but definitely not my last. It can certainly be read as a standalone, but I can tell you after listening to this one, I definitely want to go back and read the ones I've missed. Shannon and Duke have known each other for years. Shannon has been harboring a secret crush on Duke, but couldn't really act on it since Duke is her brother's best friend. Coincidentally, Duke feels the same way, but Shannon doesn't have a clue. Now with Duke promising his friend he will look after and protect his sister Shannon while away in the military, Duke finds it hard to keep his feelings at bay, and Shannon's starts to let her feelings come out, too.
This story was such a clean, flirtatious and absolutely fun read! The narrators did a really nice job of bringing the characters and story to life. They were able to really pull me into the story and I had a great time listening. Such an adorable story and the characters were absolutely endearing, I fell in love with them right from the start. Can't wait to read more books by this author!
I received a complimentary copy from Dreamscape Media via Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

You guys, DUKE is on audio! I listened to it with my husband—my very own Duke—and it was a riot. This man and his commentary! I might have to see if he’ll make a reel with me.
But I have definitely read this book before and it is one of my all-time favorites, and the narrators are so good, it was a blast rereading Censorshipped via audio. Let’s revisit some of my original review—

“I’ve never looked at my family members like that, chiquita.” 🤣

-Butt dial
-“I’m a romance author. Trust me.”
-Splits mishap 😂

If this is your first time visiting this small town or your fifth, you will fall in love with all the people and all of their antics. I loved every bit of this story and how realistically stepping into this “always forbidden” relationship really played out. So much romantic tension, so many swoon-worthy kisses, and so much real life happening in between all the laughs and love.
Don’t miss out on this sweet story!

This book was not for me. The pining between the love interests was excruciating and I didn’t care if they got together. Also there was a line that said “I ride a motorcycle. Like a man” and I’m hoping it was sarcasm but the way it was written did not give that feel. This book could be amazing for someone else.
Thank you netgalley and dreamscape media for providing an audio arc of this book.

I love a romcom with a swoony mmc that makes me laugh out loud and Censorshipped was all that and more! I had so much fun listening to the audiobook of Censorshipped that I bought the print copy. I just had to have this brother's best friend romcom for my shelf and I know that I will be reading it again. I have not read the previous books in the Getting Shipped series, this was great as a standalone, and I will definitely be reading the other books!
Duke and Shannon have been fighting against their mutual attraction for years, unbeknownst to each other. Duke feels bound by a promise made to Shannon's brother before Chris left for military service, and Shannon thinks Duke only sees her as the little sister of his best friend. At the same time, both Shannon and Duke are at a crossroads in their professional lives and have decisions to make, and Chris will be home in a matter of weeks.
Duke is a perfect book boyfriend; his teasing/flirting following botched texts by Shannon, teaching Shannon's senior Zumba class while she is sick, encouraging her in her dream to teach dance, yet supportive of whatever that looks like for her, and he is so good with the boys he coaches in little league!
My reason for giving this four stars instead of five is because of Chris. I feel that he had too much power over the relationship and at some point it made the story drag. In the scene where Chris finds out, I wanted to smack Duke and Chris upside the head.
The performances of Amy McFadden and Will Damron were perfection! The pacing, emotion, and distinct voicing of the characters was enjoyable to listen to, and they made the text exchanges even more funny than if I had read it in the print copy. They really did bring this book to life and I would love to listen to them narrate the other books in the series.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the ALC. This is my honest review.
