As usual, these samples are always looked forward to. I really enjoy getting to see a selection of new titles that netgalley has to offer. All the titles are always ones that I want to request. I added several to my list of books I want to read This fall and winter.

A 1,300 page book can look pretty intimidating, but after flipping through the list of contributors, there isn't an author in this entire collection I don't want to check out. I started with Jazmina Barrera (translated by the ever excellent Christina MacSweeney) followed by the first Tim O'Brien novel in 20 years and "You Dreamed of Empires," translated by the inimitable Natasha Wimmer. Can't wait to see what other gems lie in wait!

It's always exciting to get a glimpse into upcoming books. I love getting a head start and knowing if there is something I can look froward to. I always get a little giddy when the Buzz Book samples come out.
