I love how long the excerpts are for each book! There's a big enough chunk to really get a good feel for the book, and to get hooked of course! I wish there was a grid of covers so we could choose to jump to a book this way ( I know a lot of books don't have finished cover art at this point, but the option would be great). It would also be helpful to be able to skip a book with a quick touch of a button. I realize these criticisms have more to do with the technical side and not the actual book information. I just thought I'd mention. Thanks so much to the publishers and @netgalley !

It was nice to get a glimpse of what’s on the horizon! The formatting was weird but that might be an issue with my kindle.

A very helpful book to read to know more about the upcoming new books. It was really good to have the different genres divided and also small exerts to see if you’re interested in the book.

These anthologies are so great! I loved reading the excerpts and having new things for my TBR. So glad that they are available on NG and fingers crossed that I get approved for the ones I requested.

Read through this and added plenty of books to my goodreads from this list. I appreciated the highlighted books that were anticipated the most this year. The only issue is my TBR is already endless and this book didn't make it any better.

I appreciate the wide variety of samples included in this edition of Buzz Books. I am looking forward to getting my hands on The Vaster Wilds and many more, although I think many will have to wait until publishing time because the galley’s will be so coveted. These samples are a perfect length to give me more information about what to add to my TBR and what to request!

This is a great compilation of upcoming releases and a great way to preview works from authors with whom you may not be familiar.

I was initially drawn to it because one of my favorite authors, Tia Williams, is featured in the book. I was very excited when I found out that she was working on a new book and to read an excerpt well before the release was a pleasure. Much like her prior works, I was drawn to A Love Song for Ricki Wilde immediately and look forward to reading it in its entirety as soon as I can get my hands on it!

Flipping Boxcars was another excellent excerpt that immediately drew me in. I was not sure what to expect as this is the debut for Cedric the Entertainer but the setting and dialogue felt much like a movie.

Myisha Cherry's Failures of Forgiveness was also very interesting as it addresses our one-size-fits-all approach to how we view and give forgiveness.

There are a lot of great stories in this compilation and I am sure my TBR will grow extensively because of it.

This a great (and very extensive) collection of excerpts from upcoming fall and winter books. It’s a wonderful treat for reviewers to be able to see samples before making decisions about which books to request. Thank you, Publishers Lunch and NetGalley!

The star rating feels a bit unnecessary here because this is just a catalog, so don't focus too much on it. I am glad to have this catalog as it was very well put together and as a reviewer it is a very useful tool for preparing to request arcs and create reviews for the rest of the year.

This book contains a pretty extensive list of upcoming new releases and then first chapters of quite a few books by recognizable authors.
As a book list lover, I enjoyed perusing the fiction and nonfiction lists, and I even enjoyed the brief summaries. However, this is not the kind of book I would ever read in full. If I read the first chapter, then I'm immediately, if intrigued, going to want to keep reading. I thought the whole book would be lists with short summaries, but it is much more. I know there are many people who enjoy reading only the first chapters to see if they want to continue on, but I am not one of those people.

This is a great way to preview upcoming books, including those from a variety of genres. I now have a list of novels I'm eager to read!

Always love getting these Buzz Books issues! It is looking like a great Fall/Winter season of reading!
