This is a great guide to upcoming books I may not have otherwise known much about. It’s helped me add books to my wish list! Thank you to NetGalley for providing this great resource!!

As always, this is an interesting guide to find out about upcoming books, or remind myself of ones I knew were coming!
A lot of the books I was interested seem to be available only to wish for, which is a bit frustrating as wishes rarely come true!
Thank you, NetGalley and Publishers Lunch, see you next season.

I always love receiving this book information. It opens me up to so many books that I may not have ordinarily picked up.

I loved this opportunity to to get a sneak peek of some of the most anticipated releases for 2023, and I’m excited to read the full versions when they release. This was a pretty wide reaching sampler, but I have to say my favourites were in the young adult section with Roshani Chokshi’s THE SPIRIT GLASS, Sajni Pastel’s A DROP OF VENOM, and Jason June’s THE SPELLS WE CAST. Hoping to continue to see great choices in future iterations of this!

As always, another season of great books to sample and discover. Thank you, Buzz Books! I always look forward to reading your publishing list and finding new authors as well as familiar ones.

A fun way to see what's coming out soon. Specifically, I am very, very excited for "The Happy Couple" by Naoise Dolan and "The Vulnerables" by Sigrid Nunez.

This is the first time I’ve ever read an issue of Buzz Books. I really enjoyed getting a sneak peek at books coming out this Fall/Winter and getting a chance to read excerpts from some of them. There are some novels that I am excited to read that I requested eARCs of based on the excerpts that I wouldn’t have otherwise requested from the summary alone.
Books that I am most interested in reading as a result of this publication are:
Nonfiction: Hell if We Don’t Change Our Ways
Young Adult: My Father, the Panda Killer; Snowglobe; Last Girl Breathing
Fiction: Jonathan Abernathy You Are Kind; Guy’s Girl; First Lie Wins; Familia; Midnight is the Darkest Hour; The Future
I’m sure that I forgot to include some because there are SO many good books coming out! I am especially excited to read some of the works by new authors.
Thank you to #NetGalley and #Publisher’s Lunch for providing this preview.

Great overview, nice extracts that will help me choose what to read next and what to request here on Netgalley. Looking forward to the new Hisham Matar, a nice surprise that he has a new novel out later this year.

I always look forward to Buzz Books! Thanks for the opportunity to discover books that I might have missed.

I always enjoy when these previews show up on the read now list. It's great to be able to see what's going to come out next and plan my reading attack.

Loved the glimpses into all the books! So wish we got full copies of everything inside with the link! Would be big incentive to give each excerpt a try!

Thanks NetGalley!
I didn’t know this was a thing! This is such a helpful insight into some of the new books coming this fall/winter. I wil definitely keep my
Eye out for more

I find these Buzz Books very useful for finding out about upcoming books, and for weeding out some books that I thought sounded interesting - until I read a sample. This time, most of the books that interested me did not have samples, which was disappointing. On the positive side, there were a few books that didn’t sound too promising from the description, but the writing was so fresh that I was forced to add them to my list. I keep the following record of what caught my attention, so I can refer to it later.
Books with excerpts:
Elizabeth Crook. The Madstone
Naoise Dolan. The Happy Couple
Cedric the Entertainer. Flipping Boxcars
Books without excerpts:
Kate Atkinson. Normal Rules Don’t Apply
Paul Auster. Baumgartner
Edward Carey. Edith Holler
Sadie Smith. The Fraud
Jesmyn Ward. Let Us Descend
Teju Cole. Tremor
Jhumpa Lahiri. Roman Stories
Lawrence Wright. Mr. Texas
Paulette Jiles. Chenneville: A Novel of Murder, Loss, and Vengeance
Tim Johnston. Distant Sons
Daniel Mason. North Woods
Ed Park. Same Bed Different Dreams
Angie Kim. Happiness Falls
Thrity Umrigar. The Museum of Failures
Lee Child, Andrew Child. The Secret
John Connolly. The Land of Lost Things
Stephen King. Holly
Walter Mosley. Touched
H. W. Brands. Founding Partisans: Hamilton, Madison, Jefferson, Adams and the Brawling Birth of American Politics
Michael Harriot. Black AF History: The Un-Whitewashed Story of America
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.

I really enjoyed this Buzz Book. I love getting the inside scoop on upcoming books and the summaries were awesome. Picked out my next reads ! Thanks #netgalley for providing this copy to me !

While I’m extremely excited this sampler of upcoming releases exists, my bank account does not! I found no formatting issues in the Netgalley app. It’s easy to read and navigate.

A useful little handbook about the forthcoming publication in fiction and non-fiction as well as a few other genres. However, there are several eminent titles missing and I cannot fathom why.

I love reading these and finding books that I probably wouldn’t have encountered. I appreciate the diversity as well. I now have quite a list added to my tbr. A few I added are Hold My Girl by Charlene Carr, The Fox Wife by Yangsze Choo, The Bullet Swallower by Elizabeth Gonzalez James, Familia by Lauren E. Rico, Evil Eye by Etaf Rum, and so many more. This has me excited for all the new fall/winter reads.

I love getting the Buzz Books guides because it gives me a snippet of all the upcoming books. I get easily flip to a title or author I like, or some that are new to me, to check out a chapter of the book, and link (in the NetGalley app) to request the full galley.
It provides a wide swath of titles and genres, and there is definitely something for everyone. I like that it shows the covers of books, too, as sometimes, a cover intrigues me enough that I want to read the book!
Thanks for providing this look at upcoming titles.

A great sampler with tons of books inside! I love the vast variety and that they're all in one handy book.

Buzz books 2023 Fall/Winter is a wonderful way to read up on the newest books coming out. You will not be disappointed.
