I think I liked the authors back story as much as I liked the practices and ideas. The book just feels soothing right from the cover to the last page.

I was really excited about this title but unfortunately the digital copy has a dark font on a dark background making it hard to read. Super unfortunate. I did not finish it as I was finding it was too much of a struggle to read the dark page.

What a fabulous, grounding, and intentional book! This book covers a variety of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual practices to bring more mindfulness and purpose into your days. I’ve read hundreds of what I’ll classify general as Eastern philosophy books over the years, and this one falls in my top 10. It’s approachable, it covers a broad variety of wellness topics, and can be a go-to anthology of knowledge. You don’t have to feel like you need to be Buddha himself to understand or apply any of the teachings in this book. The act of reading it itself became a morning ritual for me, and I felt like the author and I became friends over the course of my reading. I loved this book and have already ordered a preorder copy for myself! Highly recommend to anyone interested in eastern philosophy or general health and wellness - you can definitely pick up a few new nuggets to take with you, no matter how much you may already know.
